Avoid This Company – Fraudulent Charges & Terrible Customer Service
I canceled my LiveChat membership almost a year ago, yet out of nowhere, their system started charging my card in December, January, and February. When I contacted them to request a refund, they flat-out refused, despite the fact that I had already canceled long ago. This company is fraudulent, and their billing practices are highly questionable.
I’ve since issued a chargeback with Capital One to recover my money. On top of that, their service is way overpriced for what they offer. You’re much better off using Zoho Chatbot, which provides far better value and customer support. Avoid LiveChat at all costs!

"Poor Pricing Practices and Lacking Features"
I’ve been using LiveChat, but my experience has been far from ideal. This company has serious issues with transparency and fairness when it comes to pricing.
LiveChat changes their pricing without notice, which is unacceptable for any business relying on a stable budget. They also charge for unused tiers without any clear justification, and when asked about it, they refuse to provide a refund for the difference. This kind of predatory billing practice is frustrating and shows a lack of regard for their customers. It cost us $500 USD.
Beyond the billing issues, their service is inferior compared to many other chat platforms.
- Limited automation and chatbot capabilities: Other platforms provide more robust AI/chatbot integrations.
- Lack of real omnichannel support: Many competitors seamlessly integrate with multiple communication platforms, but LiveChat falls short.
- Customization and reporting limitations: The level of flexibility and insight you get from other platforms is far superior.

Terrible Experience – Waste of Money!
We deeply regret purchasing a one-year subscription to this app. It has been nothing but a disaster! The user experience is awful, and contacting customer support only made things worse. It’s clear that the issues stem from the app’s poor system design, but the support team refuses to acknowledge this and instead keeps blaming the problem on our network.
For instance, we repeatedly experienced message delays or even lost messages, which seriously disrupted our workflow. When we reached out to Live Chat support, they didn’t take the issue seriously and just kept insisting that the problem was due to our internet connection. However, our network works perfectly fine with other apps, so it’s obviously an issue with their system.
As paying customers, we expected proper solutions, not dismissive responses and meaningless excuses. Live Chat’s attitude and poor-quality app completely failed to meet even the most basic expectations. This app is absolutely not worth the price, let alone a long-term subscription!
Save your time and money – avoid this trash app at all costs!

"Scammers, Greedy Company, Worst application, Very expensive."
We were customer for years since they decided to get greedy, removing the livechat ticketing system and asking to pay an extra service (helpdesk).
They activated without our consent, really I didn't receive any request and I found my account with a 14 days countdown trial after which they would have charged ~450$/year.
They never anticipated about this change, just gave a 14 days notice once they were ready.
Worst experience ever. They doubled the price for the same service that was already included. Good job!

Spending a quarter of what it used to be with LiveChat.
Thanks to their "urgency" we found a splendid OpenSource project. Easy to deploy and to integrate. Voila.

"Absolute waste of money"
Learn from others mistakes - don't waste your money with this product. The AI component of ChatBot is severely lacking in features and functionality. You would have better functionality and success using an AI tool attached to email.

"An expensive product and AI is lacking"
We signed up with LiveChat in January 2024 and had hoped to use it for multiple years. However, we found the AI lacking, often delivering wrong or irrelevant answers to our customers, and it's also quite a pricey product. We had a lot of interactions with their team over the year, but ultimately felt the product was not improving, and we have this week moved our business to Intercom.
