The apartment was really dirty and had a bad smell. We did not feel comfortable staying there. The dirt was every where, and no fresh air coming in but strong tobacco smell was continuing coming in to the apartment threw air conditioning. One shower was blocked so one girl had to wait in the shower for the water to go down. When 2 had showered the hot water was finished so I had to wash in cold shower. (We were not much in the apartment or using much water). The beds were so loud so no one could move in it. It was unbreathable outside our door in the common area, such a bad smell. Everything was just disgusting and bad smelling. We are really unhappy with the stay!

"Terrible don't book this"
I wouldn't give it any stars if this was an option. We had to check out after one night as the room was appalling. The window in the bedroom is shattered and is extremely dangerous. The beds mattress was very poor quality and the springs were Very uncomfortable. The pillows were misshaped and lumpy. I resorted to sleeping on the small sofa and as a result didn't get very much sleep. Also the hot water was only enough for one of us to shower.

However there are a few issues which are unacceptable.
I have stayed with your company before & did not have any issues, but this time there are a few problems.
1) The area allocated for parking; there are several cars park illegally out of bays, at the entrance & getting round the car park. There are many cars blocked by other cars just randomly parking & there is no order or anything unfortunately. This has nearly caused an accident by several people, and we are just left stuck. This is not acceptable, what if there is an emergency, or people just want to get out. I have recorded a video of someone trying to exit, but they are unable to.
2) There is a lack of utensils in the kitchen, specifically a basic spatula & a pan that is not there. There is one pan under the skin, which is completely burnt, the non stick is off the base & you can see it’s been abused, therefore I see why it’s been left in the non traditional place under the skin rather than in a cupboard where the other pots are.
3) There seems to be tea bags & coffee sachets in a bowl, same as when I last attended your apartment, however there’s no sugar this time, just makes it look unprofessional & rushed.
4) the tissue holder in the toilet on the base level has many many marks on the walls, looks like there was a lot of kicking and damaging going on + the tissue holder is broken!
5) the sofa is quite heavily stained, making it uncomfortable for me and my family. I understand sofas have marks on them, but this time it is quite severe, making it lol very apparent how dirty it is.
6) the blinds in the living room & the bedroom are broken, thread dangling & the bars to adjust it, are not there, which means I have to get a stool and manually do it by hand do block/allow light in.
7) The shower head is broken & where you hold it, it is cracked, so water is sprinkling out
8) I booked a 2 room stay, and both beds are double beds, however the blanket is a single blanket for both beds..
This is truly unacceptable & when spending any amount of money, we would all hope that the basics are done & things are clean. I don’t expect things to be perfect, but these are several points which are adding up to not be ok.
This is just making me decide not to book again.

Nice tidy room basic but for the price for the city centre it wasn't bad. Room could do with a bit of tlc. Just a short walk into the centre from here as well and bus stop is just across the way. Overall very satisfied with the room and price definitely stop here again

"The staff were fantastic"
The staff were fantastic, rooms were neat, accessories were clean. The lady, Carl who met us and ushered us into our room was like more than a sister. Carl thank you so much, you were so lovely.
The only shortfall was the water heater which was on and off and needs to be checked.
I will love to stay there again on my next visit and will recommend it to any one who loves to stay in a clean and friendly environment.

"Shocked. A total rip off. "
I’m actually shocked to be hearing from site manager Tom Jordan for the first time in an email asking me for my feedback, and suggesting I give an 8, 9 or a 10. Has Tom Jordan even been made aware of what is going on in this apartment?
Here are the issues:
The address they gave said floor 1. The apartment is on floor 2.
The check in was 35 mins late. I was waiting outside in the cold with all my luggage.
Bedroom
The bedroom radiator is not working. There
was an additional plug-in radiator placed in the corner of the living room, but that is also broken. Three days later, it’s snowing in Wolverhampton, and I still have not been given anything to assist with the heating on this apartment.
There is no chest of drawers in the bedroom nor any other cabinet or bedside table to store clothes in. I’m staying here for 7 weeks. There is only a small rail with 8 small, cheap coat-hangers on it which don’t support the weight of my jacket. Now that I’ve unpacked my suitcase, the best option for organizing my clothes is in piles against the wall in the living room.
Bathroom
There is no hot water in the shower, only lukewarm water when the tap is placed on maximum heat.
There is also nowhere to place soap or shower gel in the shower so everything has to be placed on the floor. A bar of soap in the shower is not an option.
The toilet seat is not secured down, such that when I sit on it, I slip into the toilet bowl.
Additionally there is an unsightly, large, black stain on the bathroom floor.
Living room
Two of the four freezer compartments were found to be dirty, with food residue left by previous guests.
The broken plug-in radiator was just being stored in the corner of the living room.
The internet hub was found on its side on the floor. There is no furniture to place it on.
The only option for lighting is the overhead lighting, which is controlled by two switches outside the room. There are no lamps nor any furniture to place lamps on.

I’m being charging roughly £1,770 a month to stay here, a total of £3,100 for seven weeks. It’s grossly unfair that you consider this living situation acceptable at that price.

Last night I messaged the property managers again to try to get an update since I hadn’t heard from anyone all day. I was told that the matter of providing a ‘temporary closet’ for my clothes is still awaiting approval, as if having somewhere to store clothes in is not a basic necessity.
Three days after check in my clothes are still in piles in the living room, I’m still not able to take a hot shower, it’s snowing outside and the only time anyone ever communicates with me is if I reach out to them first.

I had to call Booking.com three times on Sunday because no one could give me an answer on when one of the site managers was coming over to review everything. It’s been a total nightmare and this request to write a review giving 8, 9 or 10 out of 10 feels like a slap on the face.
Your customer service is appalling. You don’t even deserve a 1 out of 10.

"Overall bad experience"
Overall bad experience. I am not one to usually leave bad reviews however, we are very dissatisfied with this stay and the customer service.
To make this review fair, the host waited 20 minutes longer for us to arrive at check in as our flight was delayed. This was much appreciated.
However, we encountered a number of problems whilst staying here.
1. The listing included parking and required the registration plates 48 hours before. These were sent to the host almost 1 week before check in and also mentioned on arrival. We have unfortunately received parking tickets for everyday of the two weeks that we stayed (this is for 2 vehicles) £100 per parking ticket- as you can imagine this adds up to thousands of pounds. The host did not respond for days until I said I would be taking this further and got advice from the air b and b support team. These parking tickets have still not been retracted nor have we heard back with a resolution to this issue. The air b n b team kindly offered some money back on the stay but this does not even cover the cost of 2 of the parking tickets.
2. So much glass and debris in the car park area that my partners tyre got popped. Another £250 spent on recovery coming late at night so that we could attend work the following day.
3. The WiFi did not work the entire stay. This was not even mentioned the host, we just accept this and used our data as the parking tickets was a bigger issue.
4. Generally poor quality. Cupboard doors were loose. The fire extinguisher that was hung onto the wall was screwed on with poor quality screws and fell out of the wall onto my partners foot. The fridge/freezer didn't work properly- there was huge ice build up in the fridge and it was constantly defrosting- every time the fridge was opened the water would spill out all over you.
5. Lack of cutlery and kitchen supplies.
6. Bed was extremely uncomfortable- due us to staying here for 2 weeks we had to go and buy extra pillows and a thick mattress protector to make this stay more comfortable. We were staying at this property due to moving house and having to leave our old house earlier than getting the keys to the new one. The radiator in the bedroom was falling off the wall too.
7. The most disappointing part of this stay/host- we had booked to stay in one of their other apartments the week after this stay closer to my work. I presume that after we checked out, The host had seen that air b and b has refunded 20% of the cost of the stay and they decided 2 hours before we were due to check into the next air b n b that they would cancel the stay. As you can imagine, this was stressful as stated above, we are between houses at the moment and had no where else to stay or go. Not to mention the cost of the second apartment does not get refunded for 15 working days. Whilst I am lucky to be able to afford to pay for another stay before getting the refund- some people would not have been able to do this. The air b and b support team were really helpful and helped us find somewhere else within 2 hours. He told me that the host had cancelled the next booking due to damage in the property. This was disappointing and completely false. I took photos of the apartment on check in and also took them on check out. Despite already paying the cleaning charge upfront- I woke up 2 hours earlier before work on the day of check out and cleaned the apartment- the towels were washed the day before we left. This property was left in a good condition but the host felt like they needed to lie about the condition it was left in (probably because they were concerned about a complaint at the next one and some of their money getting taken again by air b n b) Personally, they should be focusing on bettering their business rather than dwelling on the £200 out of £800 that was refunded by air b n b on the stay. This trip has cost us way more than it was worth.
I am never one to leave bad reviews. However I would strongly advise against staying in one of their complexes. I had every intention of leaving them a good review (even though there was small issues at first) out of kindness and support for local businesses but the cancellation of the next stay was the cherry on the cake. I work in property myself- This is a prime example of how not to run an air b and b business. I mentioned to air b n b that they should not be allowed to run their business through this platform. Guests are not allowed to cancel bookings 2 hours before and get a refund so why should hosts be allowed to do this? The reason I have even wasted my time writing this review is to prevent this happening to other people.

Avoid "Bridge house"Balm Road in Leeds. Every thing is bad about this place. All the flats have multiple problems. Zero maintenance.
Majority of heaters don't work. Flickering bulbs common problem. Loose Toilet seats. Shower door didn't close in flat. Shower base surround missing in in two flats. Dirty rug in one flat. Had to fold it and put in the airing cupboard. Off road risky parking on very busy road. One guy told me about car smash window. Noisy flats due to road traffic. Dirty foul smelling bin area. Stained stair carpet. No lifts. This time I arrived at 8 pm to check in. Noted bed mattress completely sagged and depressed in the middle. Found out bed frame broken in the middle causing the mattress to sag in. Rang for help. No help provided. Had to place plastic storage box, ironing board and drying rack on top of each other to raise the frame and mattress. That's how I was able to sleep on the bed. You complain but don't expect any problems sorted. Main problem is maintenence. Flat pictures are misleading as they are original photos taken long time ago. I will never stay here again after my latest bed mattress experience. My Property Host will vanish completely never to be seen again after handing over the keys what ever problems you may have. They never came to sort our any of my flat problems. According to my experience they are the worst managing company.

"Nice flat overall "
When I first booked the flat through Vrbo I enquired about the parking and though I received all other relevant information they never responded to my parking query. When we arrived at the flat our host who was on time to meet us explained that the flat car park was for authorised vehicles only and we would have to park on the road which was already very parked up.
2 bulbs were out in the bathroom which meant the lighting was poor and made it difficult for my husband to shave. The oven had not been cleaned.
The rest of the flat was clean and tidy and perfect for our needs over our 3 night stay.
The bus stop was directly outside which meant that travel to and from NEC was easy. Tesco Extra opposite the flat as very convenient.
Lots of takeaways near by but a 15 minute walk to the nearest restaurant / pub where we could sit and eat.
A lot of light bled round the bedroom window blind as there was a flood light directly outside the window and the property would benefit from curtains as well as the blind. Once the sun came up the flood light turned off and it was darker in daylight than it had been all night!
We also felt that some coat hooks by the door and extra hooks for towels in the bathroom would have been nice.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return as long as we weren’t using the car!
