"Ease of buying"
I liked the style of the site and easy to find plants that are pet friendly.
Only four stars because one plant box was very wet and damaged when it arrived although luckily the plant inside was undamaged.

"Brilliant company"
Brilliant company, I've been using them for several years now. The plants I've received have always been in brilliant condition, and whenever I have needed to contact customer service they've been very kind and helpful and sorted me out perfectly. The subscription box service is really enjoyable and the plants and pots are always a beautiful surprise - really recommend!

"Stay away and support local businesses"
I was bought a house plant subscription as a present and was really excited and thought what a lovley idea.
This company is very expensive and i have no idea how they can justify charging £39 per month and sending out plants i could buy locally for £10. Although the plants come with pots it still does not justify the steep price.
I complained about the size of plants which were tiny, may i add. I was told that it was clearly advertised in terms and conditions and that was that.
Save your money and support local businesses, im incredibly disappointed. Very poor "customer service".

"Terrible Service"
I waited nearly a month for my plants before I was forced to cancel my order.
I emailed Bloombox about 5 times whilst waiting for my delivery and received consistent apologetic responses but I was offered no sort of refund apart from my £6.50 delivery fee on a £100 order. The responses I got were sometimes unclear and delayed.
Apparently one basket I ordered out of a 'basket and plant combo' was out of stock and was holding my order up. I tried asking for a replacement (which lead nowhere) and finally was offered a refund for the basket. However as this was over three weeks after I ordered, another plant that was meant to be coming was now out of stock.
In short - the company's communication was poor, unhelpful and completely lacked any initiative. I would never bother trying to order from this company again.

I ordered a string of tears plant and a hanger for my mother in law for her 60th. I was really nervous getting a plant sent to me in the post but it was packaged so well! I was blown away by the health of the plant and also how well established it is. My mother in law loves it and the plant is thriving! I have recommended Bloombox to everyone. Thank you Bloombox.

"Love this company"
Love this company. Have bought a monthly plant subscription for my daughter for xmas. Plants and pots are high quality and well packaged and she gets to open a surprise gift every month.
Also loving the additional information about each plant when it arrives and the invaluable instructions that stop it being killed off in the first month!
Will definatley buy again

"Not a Birthday treat but a massive disappointment came out of the massive box."
I received a delivery from Bloomboxclub last night from my brother for a birthday gift. Big Birthday so big gift! Big deal for both of us as money is not plentiful these days. At 9pm after unpacking it (from an undamaged box) I could see it was in a poor state. The following is from the complaint I emailed immediately & accompanied with photos.
'This is a Order #. A gift from my brother for my 50th birthday. A big treat from him. It arrived at 9pm tonight. The box was undamaged & the plant seemed well cocooned inside.
Once I unwrapped it there were two broken leaves that I trimmed off, then a baby leaf that had bent in the middle, then I found parts of another broken leaf.
By now I was wishing I had not trimmed it as the plant is not in a good state at all. As pictured.
The central new leaf is damaged right at the base & may indicate the whole plant is poorly by the poor colour and limpness.
Of the remaining 7 stems. Only two are healthy. 2 have scars/mite damage, one has a whole section ripped off, one the ends of the leaf are bruised. One is full of holes. It is a shocker and I dread to think.what he spent as he said..."it was Special for my Special birthday! "
I have more photos that will attach to further emails.'
This was sent at 9.30pm three times with different photos attached.
I look forward to hearing what their solution was. No reply as yet 19 hours later.
And 48 hrs have elapsed with no word. Interesting as website has no phone number. So no response from email and no opportunity to Tweet about it either. They removed the account. Would not recommend this shop to anyone. Why pay lots for a plant via post, that arrives like one of those marked down dying plants you find near the exit of DIY stores? Super disappointed.
So to update. In the end they contacted first me , then my brother and sent out a 2nd plant.
Following from email.
Firstly can I apologise the first ( just in time) customer response was missed by myself as it did not show up in the mailbox.
Thankyou for sorting a replacement. Unfortunately the replacement plant was dropped off last Wednesday and has died too.
It looked better having more leaves. However most had damage & scarring. Also there was compost everywhere, all over the leaves. It obviously has not grown on in the pot, just been hastily dumped in there before being sent out.
That's not how plants should be sold. Good plant shops grow their plants on in the pots they sell them in ensuring they are robust and can take up the water & nutrients they need.
The leaves are checked for damage and removed if necessary to promote healthy growth.
Care is taken with the plants, I do not think you are presenting as a Good Plant Shop.
Today when I came home the plant looked very sad, the centre growth, literally came off in my hand. This is all that is left. Presumably the crown got buried during the speedy potting up and so has rotted off.
So Happy Birthday to me. For my 50th I have two plants with rotted crowns that are dying as I type. Shocking service.
