"Great experience "
We traveled from Perth in Scotland to get to Jorvik trikes as it was nearest to us. Very glad we chose Jorvik as we were treated by friendly, knowledgeable staff who made our whole experience very easy. We purchased my trike in October and it was delivered a little later than we anticipated but it was worth waiting for. Only had one try on my trike due to poor and cold weather but really enjoyed my short outing last weekend. Can’t wait to get going with our plans for lots of outing when the weather gets better.

"Worth waiting for"
The staff that we met - James and Tash and the staff we have spoken to since - Tash were a pleasure to deal with. The information James provided on the working of the bike was invaluable to me when the bike arrived.
Through no fault on their part there was a delay to parts for my bike arriving at Jorviik. Throughout this time Tash kept me informed about the delays and when it came to delivering the bike she coordinated the delivery with TPN for us.
My bike arrived safely, it was relatively easy to assemble and I have now been out riding on it twice. I was so surprised at how easily the bike helped me tackle relatively steep hills on the tarmac paths in our local park and am looking forward to an improvement in the weather so I can try it over rougher ground. I am now able to join my husband out cycling.
It is so good no longer having to worry about stopping and dismounting from the bike - my last two wheeled attempt ended up with me on the ground!

The only thing that in anyway let the process down was the very grumpy TPN driver who didn't contact us before the delivery as Tash had requested he did. On getting the lorry stuck on the road he was rude toy husband and exceptionally unhelpful after offloading the pallet. Thanks for trying Tash!

"My adventure just increased in more miles"
Today, I received my new second battery for my Elite E Tri-bike.
Last Friday I contacted Jorvik and within no time at all, speaking and emailing Tash my order was placed and confirmed with a delivery date of today 14 January. I was kept informed not just by Jorvik but their courier DPD and as expected within the time frame too.
This is excellent customer service and not for the first time. I have contacted Jorvik on several occasions for advice and support and their response has been excellent too.
What this second battery means, is now I can go further with confidence. I live in rural North Yorkshire unable to drive after a serious RTA and in a village with no public transport. I have doubled the distance and this means I can visit friends further away. My independence has increased and will improve over time.
A big thank you to Tash and the rest of the Jorvik team for excellent products and customer support.

"Good bikes, disorganised/poor practices in event of death"
My dad, 81, was looking forward to delivery of his electric trike, bought and paid for from Jorvik Tricycles. We had twice visited to try one out and got a really good impression of this company.
On 6th October, the day before the delivery date, he suffered a brain hemorrhage and was rushed to hospital. The next morning (after a sleepless night) I contacted them to request delivery be stopped. The person on the phone didn't seem to grasp what had just happened and asked if another day would be more suitable; I explained my dad was likely to die and I would be back in touch at a later date. The £3000 trike was indeed delivered that day, dumped on the pavement outside his home. The neighbours luckily saw it and placed it inside an unlocked shed. Concerned it could be stolen, my partner left hospital, put it in the back of his car and took it back. The company owner gave his apologies and said the cost would be refunded. My dad, in a critical condition, died a day or two later.
When things were calmer I contacted Jorvik Tricycles to check what was happening, again explaining the situation; I was told they needed to see a death certificate, which I provided. A week later, on 7th November, my father's account was, thankfully, credited. Three months later, after several emails going back and forth, the £200 cash deposit he left at the showroom was paid back.
The trikes look to be good quality and had my dad been able to enjoy his, I'm sure it would really have improved his quality of life.

"Helpful firm to deal with"
Original order seemed easy and it arrived quickly. Price from Jorvik was cheaper than buying from anyone else. However turns out I ordered the wrong charger as the correct one wasn’t listed. Tash was great, sorted the delivery firm to bring the right one and swap it over plus got the web site updated to add the correct unit. Very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Swap over cost £8 which was the only downer.

Very easy to order from website, as I needed a new battery charger, quick dispatch time looking forward to receiving it as can’t cycle until it arrives.
