"Efficient, quick and reliable referencing company"

Rent4Sure are great at what they do and they make the whole referencing process super quick and easy for us as an agent.

Their team are friendly, helpful and extremely on the ball and always keep us informed on progress. The communication from them is second to none.

Would highly recommend!

Thanks to all at the Rent4Sure team!

"Amazing time Saver our Admin Team loves them."

Our company has been using Rent4sure for a few months now and they have made the whole referencing process so much simpler. Saving our admin team a lot of time not having to chase tenants for documents and references.

They are pretty speedy and very responsive they have been a huge time saver meaning we can get more people processed quickly and moved in.

"Worst referencing company ever!"

Worst referencing company ever, they will find any small excuse to fail your references, this is due to the fact thay they offer rent insurance to the landlord so they don’t carry just the regular income checks as any other company. They faild ours becouse the company my husband works for has no website and cannot be verified, this is ridiculous. We sent in payslips, bank statements, accountant details, after holding us for a week they were still not happy and they failed our references. In the end we changed Estate Agency, passed our references with keysafe tenant vetting in 2 days with no problems and got our lovely flat. Make sure to stay away from Estate Agencies which use rent4sure as you will loose you deposit, reference payment and most important time!

"Frauds"

Totally useless and have no idea about life in 21st centry. Don’t count as evidence companies house but they count for google and Facebook as a footprint. Imagine the stupidity of these guys. So I would suggest you find out who the reference agency is before trying to rent a property. Ps just for records we submitted all the information they asked for and we have had never any problem with borrowing or renting before up until this point.
I can not vent my fury enough here but i can warn the others.
Stay away from these people who have a melon between their ears.

Update!

I was politely asked to edit my response by TrustPilot for being rude.
I can now add that following the bad experience with this company which I think was in cahoots with the Letting agency just to create fees while knowing full well that for some reason or another we would not be getting the property I have now got a property with a well respected agency.
No problems here at all with same documents.

So be ware!

"Excessive personal data being requested - have they not heard of GDPR?!"

My husband and I recently put in an offer for a rental property with a rental agency. We were sent a link from Rent4sure and we find the information requested is both unnecessary and excessive.

For example, if you have been in a rental property for less than a year, Rent4sure requires proof of address for the last 10 YEARS! Other referencing agencies and indeed, employers, require anywhere between 3-5 years, so this is excessive. Rent4sure does not state why it needs a whole 10 years to carry out their reference checks. This would contravene the new GDPR legislation.

Secondly, Rent4sure requires you and your parter to upload the last 6 months worth of payslips AND bank statements. Again, we are being CHARGED MONEY for Rent4sure to do nothing. GDPR legislation requires companies like Rent4sure to justify the need for our personal information and to get the minimum required to complete the activity we are paying them for. Hence, they should only ask for the last payslip and contact details of your employer (including an umbrella company) or accountant (if you have a limited company) to confirm your income. They should NOT be asking for bank statements as income can be confirmed via the payslip and contacting your employer/accountant.

Lastly, they asked us for our sort code and account number. NO, NO, NO! It is NOT required for reference checks and direct debits should be organised via their rental agreement with your rental agency. Rent4sure have no business collecting that information.

The days of companies asking for all and sundry are OVER with the new GDPR regulations. Companies like Rent4sure should only obtain the minimum of our personal data to complete reference checks. The information they are asking of us is both unnecessary and excessive and they should be reported to the ICO for this.

"Daylight robbery. Avoid at all costs. Painful to deal with."

Hi all,

Having read through some of the comments about Rent4sure all I can say is I absolutely and 200% agree with them. Despite their responses to the comments and claims to how they tried their best in solving the issues/it was the customer's fault etc- the bottom line is they are horrendous.

If for whatever reason you are to come across rent4sure, please please please avoid!

For me, firstly I credit them for their efficiency to answer the phone. That was very well done. But picking up your call does not mean solving your issue. Anyhow, I was told to upload necessary documents for them to check. I did so. However, no response as to whether they got the documents or not. So I waited... I eventually picked up to call and asked how my application was getting on (FYI I needed to move in to this new place ASAP). They then decided to tell me yes, we have everything its in process. Ok I waited a little longer..called again..same reply, yes we've got it. Third call..it was only by the third call they told me actually we couldn't find your email with the documents. I was not happy. Explained I had emailed to XXX email address at X time. Ok they found it. Then they had the cheek to say, oh but no attachment was in the email. Ok so apologises for not attaching the document properly, but should you not have alerted me this way earlier??

Second issue, similar to the comment made below mine. I think it doesn't matter how much your salary is because they will reject you regardless. Rent4sure give me the impression that are so desperate for money, they will find any excuse to make your life difficult then reject you!

So please, unless you want to just waste your money, use this company at your own risk!!!!

"I'm self employed & earn upwards of 42k…"

I'm self employed & earn upwards of 42k a year......But Rent4sure totally sucks! Asking for my self assessment info etc....who are you the FBI? CIA? I just told the agency to forget it, rent4sure obviously needs my money badly. New government legislation will mean companies like this (middlemen) will be out of business. 0/5

Never again!
