"Excellent Experience"
We arrived at Dublin Airport and after signing the necessary paperwork with a really pleasant young man, were told where the Sixt shuttle would be located just outside to take us to the car compound. The Sixt shuttle bus was already there and after a short ride, we picked up our vehicle at the compound with the minimum of fuss. There was an issue pairing our mobile to the car navigation system and the Sixt member of staff could not have been more helpful in helping us solving the issue. First class. Returning the car was a breeze to complete an excellent experience - highly recommended.

"A positive experience"
Picking up the car was relatively fast and easy. I even got a bigger car than I had paid for. Returning the car took a bit longer as I had problems finding the parking garage where I was supposed to return it, but after finding it, the return was super easy.
I got an Invoice a few days later where I was to pay 16 € for a flexible return. I immediately sent an email with a complaint, and rapidly received an answer that it was a mistake and the money would be refunded. So all in all the car rental with SIXT was a positive experience.

"I have used Sixt a couple of times now…"
I have used Sixt a couple of times now and on both occaisions I was impressed by the service provided.
On arrival at dublin airport had a swift registration and then took a shuttle bus to the car collection location not more than 10 mins away, where was handed over then keys and both occaisions had a new 2024 model clean car. Fuel economy was excellent and return process also hassle free.
Got my deposit back with in a week.
Will surely use Sixt again.

Not sure what issues others had but our experience was flawless. We had a quick pick up by the shuttle. The agents got our contract right away and our car was ready and waiting.
The car was great. Clean and well maintained. Upon return all went perfectly. I would rent here again.

We rented in city center Dublin. Had the car for 5 days and drove much of So Ireland. Car was great. Only hiccup was the long line when the rental desk opened in the morning. Took about 30-40 min to get through it.

Great front desk staff who helped me know what to expect driving in Ireland. They were all kind to work with.
2 issues I encountered was the tax disc ticket was not updated on the vehicle so we got a parking ticket, which we were able to get resolved by contacting Sixt customer service line.
The second issue was the vehicle lacking a rearview camera. It's a crossover with limited sightlines.
In 2024 that should not even be an option. It's not even legal in North America anymore.

"A great experience by Sixt at Cork Airport"
I've had a great experience with dealing with Sixt at Cork Airport. Using them twice before in Dublin last year followed by once in Cork Airport prior to this rental, this experience was no different.
Pickup was easy and had very little to wait before being served. I was provided an automatic over the manual which I originally booked which I was happy with. This trip was a short 4 day one visiting my family for a wedding and only used the car a handful of times. The entire pick-up experience and interacting with the staff member was second to none and the car park is convienently located next to the terminal building. Found the car easily and it was clean and new. Took off with no probelm and enjoyed my time home. Unlike Dublin, there was no shuttle bus to deal with nor a long queue in the terminal waiting to start a rental agreement.
Returning the vehicle was straightforwed however can be confusing if you havent done it at Cork before. The signage for Sixt Returns leads you into a yard across the road from the car rental car park where no staff are present, an error which i made at my last rental. It wasn't an issue however i was told by the non-Sixt staff there to leave the key in the car which was naturally unnerving. On this occasion, I was advised to return the car to the original car park and drop the key into the terminal which i was more comfortable doing. Unfortunately, the check-in process of the car took roughly 24 hours and I was not happy wth this wait as any charge could be added seeing an inspection isnt dont there and then. In Dublin Airport, the inpection happens and the agreement is closed out with you on car return. This would be my only negative on the Cork Airport expereince.
Although it was an issue of my own, I accidently modified my booking prior to it commencing and when i canged it back to the original dates and times, the price had jumped by €50. A mistake I've taken on board to be more careful about in the future when dealing with a toddler at the same time as contemplating a modification.

The Staff at the airport, the pick-up and the delivery were polite and efficient. All costs were pointed out, and all payments were strictly according to this and put down on the online survey.
