We rented at Shannon Airport. The agent at the counter was extremely competent and courteous. He worked with us to add additional drivers coming in on different flights. The car was perfect and in excellent condition. Everything went perfectly on this rental

Rented from Sixt on our recent trip to Ireland and our experience was fantastic. Early morning fright arrival, but the the service helpful and concerned that we have a good experience driving in the country. Pick up was easy and the car was excellent.

My flight in to SNN was early and they had a car waiting for me. The process was quick and easy and the return was the same. This is the 2nd rental from Sixt and I will continue to rent from them on my trips to Ireland.

Not sure why all the bad reviews, but my rental experience with Dublin Downtown location was perfect. I booked the car through Discover Cars and paid for the full coverage. Everything was perfect during pickup at Sixt. No shady extra charges. I declined additional coverage through them and everything worked out fine. They allowed for flexible self-return which was super helpful as we were taking our time in Galloway before heading back to Dublin. You simply leave the car on the top floor and drop the keys at a Dropbox outside their office. This is the only rental I will be considering if available anywhere.

I made a bad mistake in assuming the rental car could be taken on a ferry across the Irish Sea. It can't. The clerk at Sixt for my pickup in Dublin quickly gave me options to save most of our vacation plans.
