I had a mixed experience with Velorution. Initially, I faced some challenges with an online order which took a while to resolve, but once sorted, their customer service was quite helpful. On another occasion, I received an Abus cycling helmet quickly and in great condition. The staff at their Hackney store are particularly friendly, even though they're a bit short-staffed, and they provide excellent customer support. The product quality, from helmets to locks, is good, though it would be beneficial if they improved their website experience. Overall, Velorution offers decent prices and a good selection, but there’s room for improvement in their online ordering process.

"Ordered nonexistent bag online"
Ordered a rack bag online mid-September. No receipt received so I contacted the online service - no response. Contacted them by phone to be told the item I paid for was not in stock but they couldn't process the refund over the phone.
Contacted them a few more times by email but have had no response and couldn't get an answer on the phone.
Had to resort to getting money back via PayPal more than 20 days after 'purchase'.
Avoid.

Good selection, clear description, fast shipping and decent prices. What was a bit odd was that the product arrived without any tags. Tag hangers were there though. Not that I need them, but in case of returns this may have caused some discussions. Product was right and unused and I will keep it so all good.

I love my bike and very pleased to get it at a reduced price. It arrived without some of the manuals however. Luckily my husband has the same bike ( from a different supplier) and he had what we needed.

Website bombs out when verification of payment is required by credit card provider. Annoying but not a game changer as site has good prices and prompt delivery.

Humble staff at the Hackney store. Always willing to help. Make you feel appreciated as a customer. Bit short staffed at the moment and some delays but overall a good experience.

Great service.. Helpful on the phone well packed on dispatch only had to put the pedels on and tighted up the handelbars very easy .. Pleased with the completed product
