My daughter booked with this company, paying well over the market rate for lessons, on the assumption that an Intensive Driving Organisation would have tests and drivers available, to fast track to passing. The website (still now!) boasts "100% Money back if your course is not scheduled within 4 weeks!".

With the whole of the Summer break ahead of her (she's a term time worker), she duly booked one of the available slots via the website, looking to do a week of lessons and a test. Paid over £500 (full balance and deposit) and duly waited for an instructor and communication.

Well, nothing happened, and when it became clear that she wouldn't be getting an instructor in the slot she booked, or before she had to return to work (she is unable to take time off during term time), I contacted them about a refund. This is where the Terms & Conditions are revealed to you (she didn't get them by email, and they didn't have her email on file, so only the Website was the source of this info): For bookings made after July 2023, refunds are not awarded until EIGHTEEN WEEKS have passed without a scheduled instructor.

I then enquired about a refund for the balance that she paid, over the deposit, where I was told that I could receive that back if I emailed refunds again. Well, after accepting that they would refund that part of the balance, it's been 5 weeks with no further communication and chaser emails ignored. I'll not be letting this go.

Having given up with getting a scheduled driver and test in good time, my daughter then tried to book her own test, to find out that MyIntensiveCourse have already used her details to book a test somewhere else in the country, so she was unable to (all part of their strategy to obtain tests by holding and moving test dates using customer details). The DVLA were very interested in this and have asked me to report this activity to instructor standards, there is only a limited amount of times a test can be rescheduled for one individual.

See....MyIntensiveCourses don't have any drivers, or tests. There's nothing they can do, that you can't do yourself by just ringing around. They are essentially a broker for local driving instructors, and have no more access to tests or drivers than you do. And they barely conceal what crooks they are when it comes to holding your money and not providing a service.

This is a borderline-fraudulent organisation who take your money and provide p*ss-poor service. As you can see from other reviews, they will hold your money and ignore you, and resist any form of refund.

The positive reviews below are amusing. You can be the judge of whether those are genuine customers or not...

Edit: I the company took the time to lengthily respond to this review (mostly a cut and paste job), but couldn’t find time to reply to my 6week old email where they agreed a refund but never paid. It doesn’t really matter what difficulties are faced with getting drivers, there’s no excuse for not giving customers their money back when they are unsatisfied, or holding customer balances and ignoring requests to refund them.
Update: 22/12/23 - Still being ignored, 8 weeks now, despite them having agreed to pay the balance minus deposit. Interesting that they had time to ask for my order details though, through Trust Pilot, so they could respond.

This is a company that is literally stealing money from people in plain sight. AVOID.

"15 months and still nothing"

15 months after paying in full, still no instructor found for me. being assured over the phone I had plenty of time left on my theory. Had to resit it in the end. Without being sent the training from the company that they mention. Bad communication, lack of replies to emails. Promises to contact and then nothing. Take a large chunk of refund if you ask for one due to 'admin' but fail to communicate efficiently or even find an instructor in a reasonable time. Nothing intensive about 15+month wait.

"Excellent service - Great instructor -BUT NOT as intensive as I thought"

I am very happy that I chose my intensive driving course. They listened to my previous experience and gave me 18 hours intensive driving with a fantastic instructor. I passed first time and couldn't be happier.

For people expecting this to be a 1 week process however you may be disappointed. I was expecting this to be a block booking and it was in fact several lessons over a few weeks.

I did however avoid some of the long waiting times for a test and the whole process only took a few weeks.

If you want to pass quickly this is a great way to do it, but don't expect it to be a week long course with a test at the end, it doesn't seem to work that way.

"Don’t bother!!!!"

Paid for 6hrs course and driving test for my son.
He only had 4hrs driving and test!
Waste of money. Don’t bother with these for an intense course!!! Communication was awful!!!

"Quite the scam, £700+ for one lesson then 3 months of hearing nothing"

Paid over £700 for one lesson just to wait almost 3 months, hearing nothing from my instructor, no news on other lessons or tests. Instructor was rude and judgemental during my one lesson. When asking for a refund, i didnt qualify to get the deposit back as my 'first lesson' was booked within the 4 week window, despite having heard nothing for the following months.

"Very unplesent expirince"

Very poor communication I had to sort everything myself as I nearly lost my window for driving lessons, person who meant to support me was rude and didn't support me at all.
To get free retest on theory is practycly impossible to achieve there expected procentage.

Overall I had very unplesent time.
Only saving grace was an amazing instructor that I had.

"I am disgusted by the customer service"

I am disgusted by the customer service. I applied in April and applied for a refund in September as no instructor was found and I still have not received a refund. I am applaud. This is a scam so not fall for it.

"SCAM - IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD"

Total scam. I paid £300 deposit. I was given a test centre in Scotland, I live in Cheshire. I was told my test was booked in Scotland to get me in system and when a cancellation came up in Cheshire I would be able to have it as I was in the system....THIS NEVER HAPPENED. They never found me a driving instructor in my area. I was constantly emailing them advising them that I need to pass my test by the end of August or I would no longer have my job. Was told on numerous occasions not to worry they were working on it. I had sent them my deposit on May and was promised that everything would be arranged in a matter of weeks......lies. At the beginning of August I was told that they could not find a driving instructor in my area and I would need to complete a cancellation of my booking. They sent me the form which I promptly completed and expected a return of my deposit as it was them who could not fulfill there part of the contract.....no did not receive a single penny from them. It turns out that there is a cancellation fee that is the equivalent of your deposit. I found a driving instructor in my area the same day I received the email requesting I cancel my booking and I got a cancellation for a test in my area and at the end of August. When I told my driving I structure what happened he advised me that driving instructors refuse to work with this company. Total scam, stay away, they don't do anything, they just sit and wait until you get sick of waiting and ask to cancel them they get to keep your deposit.P.S. I post a review on their Facebook page similar to this one and they have now blocked me.

"Do not use"

I signed up for a course back in June and they haven't provided me with any lessons or even the contact details for an instructor.

When I requested a refund they ignored my request until I bugged them about it, then told me I was ineligible.

"Extremely poor value for money"

My Intensive is the most awful company I have ever had to deal with. We were charged way over the odds for you to simply source a local driving instructor, which I could have done myself. It took ages to find an instructor, as did the booking of a test, which I understood you had prior access to. I thought I was buying an advanced driving course and test at the end of it. Nothing of the sort.
The phone always took ages to be answered and you never kept us up to date, we always had to contact you to find out what was happening.
I would never recommend your company to anybody.
