"The company is a scam"

The company is a scam ! Be warned you will not receive, lessons, driving test or any communication from his diabolical company.
I have called more times than I care to remember and and wasted hours of my time the customer service team are useless and rude and are unable to help in any way as an existing customer I was told I needed to speak to the accounts team but they are very conveniently not customer facing and do not take inbound calls so I needed to wait for them to contact me.
I have now been waiting since August ! And been calling every week since to chase only to be told the same thing.
I honestly do not think there is an accounts team or a real company just some guy taking money for services that are never provided.
I can’t believe in this day and age companies like this can get away with it.
I have paid £1735 for an intensive course and test
My son had three lessons then the instructor stopped turning up and does not answer any calls.
They have refused to find me a new instructor
Or provide the service I have paid for.
I will be reporting them to trading standards

did any of you who are writing these reviews get a text or have contact with an instructor?

i paid the deposit, got texts and emails as promised, today i have received a call from an instructor who says they can start asap, just needed to pay the final balance. Which i am just in the process of doing, however i came on here and seen the reviews. .

I want to know if you received a call from an "instructor" - then made the final balance payment and then heard nothing? or did you never hear from an instructor. I;m hoping the call from the instructor is good news here?

"AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!"

On May 3rd 2023 I signed up for a 30 hour course with this company and paid the initial deposit with the promise of my first lesson within 4 weeks. On 10th June 2023 I was assigned a driving instructor, on the same day it transpired that despite telling the company multiple times I needed automatic lessons they had assigned me a manual instructor. After calling once per week and not being provided any update or service I put in a refund request on 26th July 2023. On 22nd November 2023 I requested a refund again as I had had no response and still no instructor assigned. As of now 8th January 2024, I have no refund, no instructor and no response to any emails. If I could leave a minus review I would, I only wish I had read these reviews before booking. My next step is trading standards for these cowboys!

I paid a deposit MONTHS ago and still nothing. Can never get hold of them and if I can always fobbed off.

"Waste of time"

My daughter booked for an intensive course back in June for a full two weeks course for August. She has paid £1400 for this. Still had to get in touch a week before the two weeks in August because they still hadn't got in touch telling her if she had an instructor. Finally got an instructor at the end of the two weeks that she intended to be driving. He then asked when she would be available for lessons. She eventually had a three hour lesson but he then had to cancel any further lessons because the company hadn't paid him. She's emailed the company to ask for a refund. They've told her she may not be entitled to one. She's emailed them multiple times now and isn't getting anywhere. She's now going through her bank as this whole process has been a joke! Please don't waste your time with this company. It's not worth the money or stress.

"IF I COULD GIVE THIS COMPANY ZERO STARS, I WOULD."

I have never before written a bad review, but this was necessary as I wouldn't want anyone else to experience what I have.

My experience with My Intensive Course LTD for driving lessons has been far from the professional and consistent service I anticipated.

The assigned instructor was consistently too busy, and when she did provide availability, it was contingent on me travelling to her location, incurring additional expenses for transportation that was never disclosed during the sign-up process.

Despite my attempts to accommodate the instructor's schedule, I faced frequent cancellations and unfulfilled promises, citing various reasons ranging from test instructor availability to unexpected "house flooding." After enduring months of frustration and still not a single lesson, I voiced my concerns to the company, only to find that the promised resolution was never honoured.

The company assured me that such issues were uncommon and pledged to address them during our next arranged lesson. However, on the scheduled day, my instructor failed to show up, leading me to discover that the company had changed my instructor without any prior notice or my consent. They informed me that it would be an additional two weeks until they could provide another instructor, and even then, lesson availability would depend on the new instructor's schedule. Frustrated and inconvenienced, I was prompted by the company's customer service to inquire about a refund, as per their policies.

This initiated a confusing and contradictory process, leaving me seemingly ineligible for a refund. Despite numerous attempts to seek clarification via email, all my inquiries have been ignored.

My 30-week journey with My Intensive Course LTD has been marred by stress, confusion, and unmet expectations. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this service to anyone, and I strongly advise others to steer clear of the same disappointing experience. In my case, the company has not only failed to provide the service I paid for but has also been unresponsive to my attempts to address the issue. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY, as they may not only waste your time but also steal your money.

"Negative reviews are removed! Beware!"

Paid in full for a course then didn't match Son with an instructor so had credit card company take the money back as they failed to deliver anything. The bank upheld the complaint against them and refunded us straight away.
Seems to be a running theme here by the looks of the feedback.
Anyone who's paid and been let down, use CHARGEBACK with your bank or credit card. If they fail to deliver within the time frame they originally promised, it'll work. Even if it's passed the usual timeframe there's a rule about delivering something you paid in advance for.
Their terms and conditions mean nothing if they can't deliver what you paid for and what you believed you'd get, in our case a completely un-intensive course. Non existent actually.
Don't wait for the refund, your bank will take it from them on your behalf (You're welcome).
Also, if you use the finance option you also have options available to you.
I've contacted them and requested they cease offering finance too.
I can't even begin to tell you how many negative reviews they remove from here but visit regularly with screenshots and you'll see how many.
Awful awful company with no morals.
And unfortunately for them, I don't have to abide to their fairness policy! It seemed to strike a nerve when previously mentioned the owners name and the history of the company and his others - check companies house for more info!
Have a great day Myintesivecourse, and you never know, you could end up one of those Rogue Trader programmes in the near future with all this amazing feedback.

"If I could rate ZERO I would"

If I could rate ZERO I would, this company is a scam! I paid £313 in April 2023 as my wife and I found we were going to have a baby and I wanted to have passed before she was born (October 2023) their own T&Cs said that I'd they didn't match me with an instructor within 18 weeks I would be entitled to a refund, well 18 weeks came and went with no communication with this company and after a lot of back and forth they finally admitted they would give me a refund on 27th November 2023, THAT day came and went with no refund and when I contacted them I was told they "forgot" to refund me and that I would now have to wait till 16th December 2023 as they only "do refunds on set days" well, 16th December came and went!
I have reached out to others scammed by this company and I will be naming Nicola Fox in the coming lawsuit.
I will also be requesting a FOI on their 'successes' to see which of these reviews are actually written by employees/friends and family.
Again, this company is a SCAM, do NOT risk trying them.
