"Co op - didsbury"

Extremely rude staff, middle aged bald guy on till made a rude comment when walking out of the shop probably thought i didnt hear him - made a comment about putting change into the self checkout machine which takes is there to take cash whether it be change or not… very judgey for somebody who has chosen to work a job where people may be paying for things with their last bit of change and little thought for circumstances

Delivery finally arrived and I found 6 items missing. Phoned the store (the gore, basildon) and was told that my 3rd bag of shopping was delivered to another customer. I was told to ring a number that they gave me which I think was coop headquarters. They guy who was supposed to help me didnt understand English. Why is he a call handler then? Eventually I worked out that he was telling me that they will go to the customer and get my shopping back for me. I said no you bloody won't. I want it fresh from the shop. I don't know who this person is who has my shopping. Apparently they can't get me a fresh order and have to refund me. Useless bunch of @%%£$. 3rd time this has happened now. If I was able to get out and visit the store I would. There won't be a 4th time.

"The Co-op through sharp practice use…"

The Co-op through sharp practice use offers they can't fulfill to tempt customers and rip them off. For example, they often have a buy 5 freezer favourites for £6. Sound s good right? But they never fulfill the order completely. They always say there is one product not available, then unbelievably they charge full price for the 4 out of 5 items they did supply. This is shocking, especially as you perhaps only bought the other supplied 4 items because of the advertised discount. Moral and ethical company? Couldn't be further from it!

"Great staff let down by management"

Hucknall Nottingham.. I use my local co-op every day and the staff are amazing .. the only thing that lets it down is the management who will often introduce a new food item that we all love then within a few weeks take it off the shelf.. my wife and I play a game. Every time she buys a food item we like we bet on how long it will be before it’s taken off the shelves 😂

Coop delivery if there was a zero star I would give you that. I’ve just experienced the worst ever delivery from a joker. I ordered my groceries this morning as im unwell. I normally pop to my lovely local coop store at Butt lane kidsgrove . Great service a fabulous experience every time. Whoever employs the delivery team for your home shopping service seriously needs to rethink its team members. Horrific experience this morning from your driver who called me and argued with me over my adress. Says I must of put the wrong pin in ? I’m a coop member I have no pin. He laughed and cut me off. Eventually after another phone call the squashed battered shopping arrived. He continued to argue with me telling me it was my fault and laughing. Sad this annoyed me. Such a great reliable coop. Risking its reputation by using comedians to deliver and wreck the buisness.

"Gidea Park - absolutely shocking service"

I ordered via Uber Eats today from the Co-op in Brentwood Road, Gidea Park. They decided to send me a cake with a short date on it, Fairtrade chocolate instead of clotted cream fudge and they also decided to charge me for coleslaw and not deliver it to me. I have called the store but there is no answer, not surprisingly. Well Co-op in Gidea Park, you have managed to rip me off today and please be assured that you will never have the opportunity to do that again.

Went the second time to this shop. First time with a temporary membercard and the discount did not work. Today again, with a proper membercard - again the offered member discount was not applied. When I complained they said I should call the HQ. Surely not worth it. It seems they do it deliberately as people don't realize or don't care.

Best to keep away from these kind of "businesses" in the future.

"I'm really angry with the coop"

I'm really angry with the coop. The quality of food is poor and there advert on t.v always states coop good with food. There tin corned beef was shocking tasteless full of jelly and like eating a soggy piece of meat. The next thing I had was their truly irrestible bacon which was heavy over salted complained to the over the phone told to send back to store fir refund never did this and just throw it in the bin. I am fed up with the poor quality we are getting for the price we are paying who ever does their quality control isn't doing a good job and there is a lack of care from the management down. The management should be tasting this products and seeing how bad they are for customers not sat there excepting there paying packets and doing nothing to sort out the poor quality products they are selling. They should also know asda food is now better quality at cheaper prices than coop and the food coop sell is getting worse with millions of products going of the shelves and lots of tasteless products replacing them. I'm ashamed to be a coop member and to make these people money when their quality is so bad do not shop here go elsewhere. I know everytime I write a review based on my own experience these companies asks feedback to be removed shocking that we live in a country of free speech and these companies will not do anything to sort our the poor quality of their products. I wonder how there management would feel if they paid good money for products to be thrown in bin weather they'd take notice then or does it take no one to buy coop goods at all snd company go bankrupt as thats what they will be heading for if they don't start making changes.
