"FOOD SAFETY CONCERN"

No help - after speaking to 3 managers from Deliveroo for over 2 hours on both live chat & phone. I ordered from co-op and they delivered food that was expired. I didn’t realise until the following day when mould had formed. I reported the issue to deliveroo and after a million macros, hung up on and laughed at - there’s been no resolution. The managers were reluctant to help even the many flexible options are provided. I simply just wanted a redelivery, no compensation, no refund.

"Extremely over priced"

Extremely over priced. But saying that its convenient. So I have used for many years.. today I bought coop chicken pie again over priced. One piece of chicken in whole pie. They need to start reviewing them self. Rather than us reviewing them

"Wheres my home delivery order?"

My home delivery Co-op order is nearly an hour late, I've had a confirmation of order email but no email to says it has been picked and dispatched. I rang the shop after the due time, and a chap said he was about to pick the order but couldn't day when it would be delivered as they didn't have anyone to deliver. This isn't really a service, is it? I'm stuck at home, can't get to the shop (it's round the corner) but I've no option now but to wait. It's my own fault, as I vowed I'd never try this again!

"Utterly useless"

Our local co op (Kineton) is utterly useless. They operate two shops in the village and you'd think they are only there for the benefit of the employees - certainly not local residents. They never have the basics and rip you off for the things they do stock. Most people drive past to get to the Sainsburys 5 miles away.

Looking at all these very negative reviews, the co-op must be seriously in trouble. There quite a big branch near me at Clapham Junction. There are three other similar shops close by, Lidl, M&S, Waitrose. They are all always busy and pleasant places to go. The co-op on the other hand is so empty that there are usually more staff and customers. As others have observed the quality is abysmal and the price is higher than M&S and Waitrose. A very curious business model. It’s notable as well that they have consistently scored bottom on the which survey of food supermarkets.

It now seems is the time to stop using the COOP the non membership prices are nothing short of extortion and do not reflect prices available elsewhere. Have noticed large price increases recently with then a much more realistic price used if you’re a member. So much for being ethical
