Not even 1 star. Please comment on the Open Cages investigation (7th August 2023) and your continued #CrueltyAtTheCoop. Since the investigation, you have ignored almost all social media comments and questions, with some of your board members even blocking other members. This is not acceptable. This cannot continue.

"Unethical Animal Welfare Standards"

As a long-standing member of the Co-op I am disappointed that Co-op has not yet and is still refusing to sign up to the Better Chicken Commitment (BCC). After the release of the investigation on 7th August Co-op has not offered any comments on its continual use of broiler chickens. I am disgusted in Co-op's treatment of these chickens. Co-op officials are not keeping up their promises to sustainable and ethical policies related to animal welfare and food products, despite their previous pioneering status. Shame on Co-op.

"Placed order for delivery it didn't…"

Placed order for delivery it didn't turn up, no text no email, customer service absolutely dire.
Our customer service in the UK is dire. Customer is definitely not king anymore. I am really really angry. They took payment in second and now I have to wait days to get a refund. Received email with link for more information, here's the thing didn't ask what information it wanted!!!!

"Well done to the Co-op"

We are visitors from spain. We shopped at the co-op in church stretton and moreton in marsh. We were impressed with the range of produce, the friendliness of the staff, the car parking facilities, the in store environment and most of all the food that we purchased particularly the frozen branded 'Cook' ⁹meals. We used to live in uk and are familiar with all the supermarkets but the co-op has certainly improved considerably way beyond our expectations and we congratulate the staff of the two stores mentioned.

"This store is absolutely dire .."

This store is absolutely dire ... I went in today and as per usual the the freezer section 100% empty, fresh meat section in the fridges is totally empty as has been this way for nearly a year .. I even took 5 photos of the ridiculous amount of emptiness in that shop so I can show people .. turns out it's not a stock issue, its a store theft issue, so instead of employing in store security co-ops response is well we won't put it out on the shelf and if people want things like fresh chichen they can ask and we will bring it, ... first off I like to pick my own food! .. Second,if its not on the shelf I will assume your store hasn't got it and go sainsburys instead ... even their staff hate working there.. I've talked to a few and they have said how they don't feel safe because the theft is so bad and the pay is a joke ... imagine that!! ... if you can't protect your staff and meet food demand by actually putting it out on the shelf .. tbh if you cant do this, you should shut shop and let some other food shop that can do the job get in there because its obvious co-op can't.. you should be ashamed

"Rip off on dog food"

Selling a six pack of tins of dog food for £10.25 is a total rip off.

"Unethical and undemocratic"

The Co-op are far more expensive than their competitors. They market themselves as an ethical cooperative however this is not how the company operates. The extra price of products simply lines the pockets of its management team. Co-op members voted to implement the Better Chicken Commitment which would improve the welfare conditions of chickens in the co-op supply chain. The co-op leadership team chose to ignore its members and the outcome of this vote... I certainly won't be ripped off by paying extra at the Co-op for unethically sourced poor quality products.

"Absolutely shocking quality of food"

Absolutely shocking quality of food. Not only do they charge the earth, but the taste and quality is sub par. Worst food I've ever had has came from coop. Avoid their own brand stuff

As a longer term customer, I am hugely concerned that Co-op has ignored almost all social media comments and questions with regards to the investigation of broiler chickens sold at co-op, with some members of the board even blocking its members! You need some marketing and social media training for one, what a disgrace. Secondly, when are you going to sign the BCC and stop with the horrendously cruel frankenchickens?!
