"What’s the point of having something on…"

What’s the point of having something on show, to say you have it, I order it, then you say it’s not in stock and I’ve already paid for it.

"Delivery not turned up, charged and no live support."

Coop have proven they can't be trusted with my latest order using their own 2 hour delivery service. I had an email as usual informing me that my items were picked and would be delivered between 9pm and 10pm as arranged, but that was the end of communication, no email with a link to track the driver, nothing delivered, no updates whatsoever and the funds aren't available in my bank.

Infuriatingly there was no live chat or support which should always be available for a live service, their customer services phone number which isn't well advertised only operates during office hours weekdays so I've had to request a refund using a contact form to be told I have to wait up to 3 days even for a reply that could be longer when they're busy and then even longer for the money to be back in my bank. It's simply unacceptable, people rely on such services as a lifeline, especially the disabled and they may not have the funds to order again elsewhere if they're on benefits while the Co-op hold onto their money.

I won't be trusting them again, at least not unless I at least get an apology and assurance this won't ever happen again along with a means of live contact if things go wrong in the future.

Coop wainscot kent Order with uber you're items go missing especially tobacco. Not a trustworthy shop when staff are keeping items you pay for. Avoid if possible if you use uber for delivery

Bought this from the coop in marske yesterday for £6. It was disgusting smelling disgusting tasting and went straight in the bin.

"Beware of The Co-op's duplicating scanning!"

I am 75. I regularly shop in Waitrose, Tesco, Asda and until now, my local Co-op, using the self-scanning machines. Today, sadly, I did not check my printed receipt in the store at the end of my scanning and paying. I have just checked the receipt and I see, yet again, the Co-op's machine duplicates a purchase, or several, and so makes a tidy little extra profit for itself ... getting a customer to pay for goods TWICE unless they notice what is going on! I will be taking this up with the staff in my local store next time I go there, if I remember to do it - and I might just be successful in getting the overcharges back ... who knows? What I do know is this, I have NEVER, NEVER experienced this problem with any other self-scanning machine in any other supermarket! This is not the first time this has happened in my local Co-op. Sadly for me, this time, I forgot to check. I wasn't wearing my reading glasses so didn't notice on the screen - the penalty of old age! I think the Co-op needs to take a long, hard look at itself for having machines that operate in this fashion - they must already know about it ... but for some unfathomable reason (I’m being generous!), they have not had the decency to make their machines work properly, like ALL the other supermarkets machines do. Shame on them!

Wish i could give NO stars! Went to the wrong address and then went back to the shop instead of coming to the right address! Then they cancelled the order and said to contact head office to get my money back...absolutely SHOCKING!!!

This retailer is taking the mick with food price inflation. Just bought a French stick. It’s gone up 20%. I normally buy their bag of sausage rolls. They’ve gone up from £1.35 to £1.60, there are now 5 instead of 6 and they are less than half the size. I won’t be buying them again. What a total rip off. They’ve lost my custom.

The ATM cash machine inside the CO-OP in Foxwood York has either a faulty screen on display so you can’t see what you’re doing or it is not working at all and out of order. The staff at the shop are not bothered and don't even report it. I reported this on resolver and CO-OP have ignored me. The faulty machine was also reported to Cardtronics on two occasions and they never fixed the machine I’m starting to believe its better they take the dam thing out and don’t provide a service at all?.
