"Wareham - Everything is wrong with Co Op"
Everything is wrong with Co Op, Wareham. Seriously greedy hugely overpriced The most expensive shop. I wont buy from there unless there are any reductions at the end of the day. Also the local co op at our garage just out of town in sandford is even more expensive on same items in store in town. We have a very busy town, with holiday makers in summer and co op thrive, as they are making huge profits on items cheaper elsewhere at the expense of the shoppers, I wish all Co op stores would be shut down. When you think how the staff work a minimum national wage there. Produce is not worth the money they charge. Watching rising prices frequently, eg. Purina one cat dry food, was not much over £5.00, now £7.15. Wish we had Aldi. I shop at Aldi out of town and its half the price of Co Op. Co Op are a disgrace.

"What's the point of a membership card…"
What's the point of a membership card only to go to a Co op only to be told we don't accept the card???? (KESWICK CO OP)
Waste of money and embarrassing to have to put food back as the "membership" offers were not honoured!

"If I could give minus starts I would"
If I could give minus starts I would. Food that is meant to be in date constantly found with mould. Breastfeeding and my baby and I both got sick. We contacted them and we received a very basic email saying we will receive a £20 voucher ( never received and nobody could say when that was meant to reach us more than a month later) and how they will investigate and keep me updated. Called them back and a much more delicate advisor sold me lies about how she can see that the voucher was sent ( a month later it still hasn’t so clearly a lie) and how they are unable to give me any kind of details of the investigation. Steer away from this poor quality and over expensive shop chain that allows customer to be treated so poorly.

"Disgusting own brand corn beef"
If I could give them zero stars I would, just bought a tin of their own brand corn beef to make a hash as there was nothing else available, cooked it, then went to eat it only to find it was full of bits of gristle, veins and sinews :( DISGUSTING !!
also had a funny smell when cooked like cat food, the whole lot went in the bin and the rest of the tin bumped back straight away for a refund NOT FIT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION !!

"Don’t order Co op"
Yet again, I ordered on Deliveroo, again the order was missing 4 items!!
The driver apologised, even though it wasn’t his fault, I’m beginning to wonder if anyone can read in the store in Bognor Regis!!!

"The Lavender Hill cooperative in London doesn't care at all for its staff."
The Lavender Hill cooperative in London was in a disarray when I visited on Tuesday evening of 26th June, 2023. I asked a worker why the shop was in such a mess and he was obviously overwhelmed and upset as so many things were needed doing yet there were only two members of staff. The other member was juggling the manning of the tills and everything else, whilst the one I was talking to was uncovering out-of-date products, wrongly ticketed Out of Stock products (12 at least in the store room) and generally trying to fulfill the job meant for two people. I asked whether staff were off sick and he said no, it was the decision of the company and I also found out the next day that they had taken over £9,000 that day I went in, and regularly took over £7,000. There were three staff the following day but (understandably) one had already handed in their notice so the situation will continue. I am shocked at how unsupportive management of this cooperative shop is and how little regard this company has for its workers. Considering how much money the store takes and its rather expensive prices I will not be entering it again or suggesting anyone else does until some regard for its staff is evident. Rotten business sense!!

"Must the same as all the other terrible…"
Must the same as all the other terrible reviews about their delivery service. Mine went missing 3 days ago now and I have not been able to get a single word out of them.
They have taken an extra £10 from my debit card though.

"Castle Hill - Ebbsfleet - Non Existent Customer Service"
Castle Hill - Ebbsfleet has to be the worst run store in the world, the people are extremely inattentive/ lazy and genuinely very unhelpful.
Was overcharged and complained to staff who simply said the price is wrong and there is nothing they can do as it is an energy drink, when I challenged this the woman got really shirty and defensive but was unable to justify the discrepancy, when I asked for a manager, she said she was manager, this says it all, is there any wonder why the store is so crap!
You can no longer complain to coop by phone, only only and you get equally useless automated no-reply responses from their Auto Bots! The company clearly do not care about their customers, and it shows with the type of lack lust incompetent people they clearly do choose to employ.

"Overcharged...again"
My local Co-op is in Conon Bridge. The staff are generally very nice, so no complaints there.
But...the offers, shelf labels and the till are often well out of sync.
Today I went to use one of their offers that I'd seen online. Irresistible Paella £4.70 each, or two for £7, or 2 for £6 if a member (which I am).
I was charged £7.00. When I queried it I was told that's what came up on the till. Didn't get a receipt - wasn't offered one.
So I went home, printed out the offer from the website and went back to the store. Was told that they did not do members' prices on the "Irresistible" range, despite me having a print out of the website to show them.
The offer on this, and many other, Irresistible range products is supposed to run until mid-September. Every shopper who tries to use this offer in the Conon Bridge store will be overcharged.
This is really quite disgraceful.
