"Avoid Speednames, if you care for your domains"

I don't even want to give 'em 1 star, but TrustPilot insisted...

Speednames.dk used to work like a bliss. But since Netnames acquired them and forced their solution upon them things have gone down hill FAST.

I cannot change my domain contact information online. I cannot obtain my domain EPP codes online. The system doesn't function, it is slow, and it hangs every 5 requests. Calling support to have them change my domain contacts and provide me with EPP codes to change registrar has proven equally useless. Emails are hardly ever answered, except for the friendly but useless receipt email. Upon calling support they often tell me that they don't receive my emails. But I have their receipt. They also tell me that Netnames, who recently acquired Spednames, is in a legal battle with Ascio over the acquisition and that I and 16,000 other clients are held up getting requested support because of said legal battle.

Speednames lost my credit card information on some of my domain names in the transfer and are now daily requesting me to reenter for renewals, although I have signaled that I am on my way out. As for those credit card numbers that they did manage to keep, they are now pulling funds, but their online system won't let me see the invoices for which funds are pulled. I have emailed the billing department, but no response. I have asked support to transfer me to billing, but they won't. Billing has no separately listed phone number. I have called Speednames main phone number, but no answer. I have contacted Netnames global with a request to contact me, but no reply.

I am disappointed and frustrated and angry.

I wont call them by names... HELL, they wont listen anyways. But I will suggest that you stay away from Speednames and Netnames if you care for your domain names and domain services.

Der må være mange der flygter nu med den service de har, og så forlanger de ekstra for ydelser man har haft tidligere, uden at oplyse derom. Nænej, det koster skam nu efter vi er blevet amerikansk ejet!!!
Ingen information til kunder om at der blevet solgt, og kundeservice har de nok ikke fået købt med, for der er ingen ordentlig.
Har ikke kunnet styre mailforwading og andet siden sidste år.
Er der nogen her der kan foreslå en der er lige så god som Speednames var tidligere, for så skifter jeg nu.

Yes, I have had the exact same experience as several others have described after our domain names were transferred from speednames.com to speednames.eu.
- undocumented charges to my credit card
- a completely useless portal with regards to managing the domains
- no response from support except for a canned message
- and I cannot even obtain EPP codes so that I can transfer domains to another service

This really looks like a scam and I am tempted to initiate a fraud investigation.

"Terrible company"

Terrible company. Their portal does not work, even updating domain name contacts doesn't actually do anything nor does altering DNS records. Support is shocking and don't seem to do anything they say they will and even their knowledge base doesn't always work.

Har været med siden 2008 altid tilfreds; MEN nu total katastrofe, support er total ubruglig, laaang ventetid , ingen løsninger, ingen service.

Very bad! ! Do not use it.
Deduct your money, without your approval and without any notice.
Ask them how to stop automatically deducting the payments, but nobody answered me.
My account previous was IPmirror. After IPmirror incorporated into Speednames Asia, all the service is getting worse and worse. If someone can tell me how to do (ex: how to report their bad behavior and refund my money), I would be grateful.

"Unusable company since transfer to speednames.eu. Stay away!"

Since the transfer of my domain from speednames.com to their new portal speednames.eu I have the following problems:
- I cannot renew my domain, since I have to confirm something in the "invoice section", but no one knows where this section is.
- They only transferred my A-records, not my mail forwards. These mail forwards still work, but I cannot manage them anymore. And nobody you talk to on the phone knows how to fix this.
- I sent many, many emails to support at speedsnames.eu and domainservices at speednames.eu, but I only received an automatic reply. None of those emails were answered by a living person.
- After days of phonecalling I finally received a ticket number, with the promise that someone would look into it and contact me. But no-one did...

Worst of all:
Even getting an EPP code does not work, so I cannot even transfer my domain to a normal provider.

Speednames, you're a disgrace and should be ashamed of yourselves!

"not competent, don't work with them !"

Speednames does not seem to know they work on a very critical part of a business. I thought the high prices where in the service of their customers.

They migrate their site to a new portal : they deleted my account !
For 1 week, I couldn't login and manage my domains, I explain 10 times my problems, they answered to each of my mails in 4h, never more fast ...

They migrate our dns zone to their new servers :
- they even didn't inform us
- the migration didn't success.
Our websites where not available for +24h ! We make money with our site ! But they answered it will be ok in 48 hours, no other solution where proposed.

We decided to change to a new registrar, half of the transfer-code they povided are not valid.

Efter Speednames skiftede system i december 2017 er det gået helt galt. Det virker ikke, der kommer sjove DNS anmodninger, man kan ikke forwarde, supporten svarer ikke osv. Jeg er er ved at skifte til anden udbyder og vil anbefale andre at gøre det samme inden det går helt ned.

"STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!"

Used to be IP Mirror. Once Speednames.asia took over, the platform and charges for domains all increased without informing the customers. The platform is worst than what up mirror provided, very old school. I’ve transferred most of the domains and yet I receive emails saying they’ve deducted money from my credit card. When you email, you may get a response. If you want a refund, you have to email. Dubious company!
