"Poor service"
No email confirmation of purchase, no delivery information, no shipping information however money taken from my account immediately after order placed. Email sent to customer services who say they may not reply for up to 5 days…service is appalling and won’t be being from them again.

Helaas was door de regen het papieren tasje, waar mijn aankoop in zat, nat geworden. De zwarte inkt van het tasje was gaan lekken op mijn witte sweater en had enkele kleine zwarte vlekjes veroorzaakt. Deze kreeg ik er zelfs niet uit met de was. Maar na een telefoontje met uitleg mocht ik mijn sweater zonder moeite omruilen!
Top en ben ik erg blij met zulke service.

Very easy to use website/app, good discounts and very good customer service. Shipping time inside the Netherlands is mostly about 2 days.

"Charged for 2 day shipping, 2 days later it hasn't even shipped yet"
Placed an order on 7/19 and paid an extra $20 for 2 day delivery, as they were going to be the shoes I wore to a wedding this weekend. Using a friend's address in Colorado (I live in New York) to have them delivered, and with expedited shipping they should have been delivered no later than Thursday 7/22. The order is still "processing" on my recent orders. I have emailed the customer service email, to which I get an automated response that they will get back to me in 5 days?!?!?! For urgent issues it suggest calling the 800 number. Which I have dozens of times today, hoping any warm body would be there to answer, but alas the answering machine thanks me for calling Scotch and Soda, and that I should email the same email I already did, which will tell me they will reach out within 5 days.
This is absolutely unacceptable for a designer brand in 2021.
I will never be purchasing another article of scotch and soda clothing.

"Produktion in und Baumwolle aus China"
Ich habe mir aktuell 2 Poloshirts gekauft. Die Qualität erscheint gut zu sein. Jedoch habe ich erst zuhause festgestellt, dass als Produktionsstandort China benannt ist und auf ORGANIC Cotton hingewiesen wird. Das lässt auf die Ernte der Baumwolle und die Produktion der Shirts in der Uiguren Region, die bekannt für Umerziehung und Zwangsarbeit ist, schließen. Beim nächsten Kauf werde ich genauer hinschauen.

"Dreadful returns process"
The average Customer review rating says it all. I just wish I'd read them before shopping at Scotch & Soda. I bought a pair of chinos which were delivered in reasonably good time, but turned out to be slightly too big. The returns experience was dreadful (worst I've ever had). I was instructed to submit a returns request online, then to fill out THREE commercial invoice forms asking for codes and details I had no idea where to find, then to complete a hard copy returns label. When I got to the Post Office they had no idea what to do with the commercial invoices I'd spent ages filling out and I was told I would have to pay for tracked delivery to the Netherlands. This cost me £14, and I had to write out a new label containing the delivery address which was in Dutch (a language I have no grasp of).
If you're thinking of buying from S&S, my advice is stop, and see if you can find the same pieces at a different retailer (e.g. John Lewis). If not, you're better off shopping at one of their competitors who offer an easier and cheaper returns process.
