"Customer Service a Stain on Stellantis Group"
** Note public reply from Mister Auto asking to hook up a distorted battery to an alternator, rather than have it returned. How can they not realise this is dangerous. Also an unnecessary ask according to the manufacturer. Madness. **
I have ordered from mister auto several times. Very often the prices are good but the quality of parts is a serious issue. The main reason I would recommend not to order from them is the customer service and specifically their disregard for consumer law.
The issue I brought to mister auto was that I wanted to return a faulty exide battery, which when it had reached a low voltage, distorted when it was trickle charged.
Despite emailing multiple times to address this issue, mister auto refused to acknowledge that it is dangerous, and would not honour the manufacturer warranty. Yes, despite having a 4 year manufacturer guarantee, this 7 month old battery was not honoured under warranty.
I offered to send it back to them to test it to evaluate themselves, but they refused. Mister auto demanded that I test the alternator with it, before they would respond to further questions. This is a dereliction of statutory rights and putting a customer at risk. Using a distorted battery to run a test is dangerous, and completely unnecessary given it was trickle charged (which was multimeter verified that it was to spec).
Mister auto have no regard for sale of goods and provision of services act in Ireland, and just want to take the easy way out.
The Irish reviews are much worse than their European equivalents, which shows a serious customer service failing by the staff assigned to the market. I wouldn't buy a Stellantis group product again if this is what they consider customer service (Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Citroën, DS, Fiat, Opel, Peugeot, Vauxhall etc)
Update: The manufacturer said that it should be replaced under warranty but Mister Auto don't reply to emails.

This company is not based in Ireland despite the .ie address. I entered my car registration and selected a 'drivers side' rear light for my Suzuki swift. Waited 9 days for delivery and when I opened the parcel it was a rear light for the passenger side!! They clearly ship from somewhere in Europe that is right hand drive but if they are going to use .ie on the web address they need to realise that ireland is left hand drive! Waste of time!!!

Used Mister Auto several times now. Always a good experience. Haven't had to return anything as yet so have not tested their customer service in that respect. Will certainly use again.

Ordered Two car batteries got all the usual emails about the order being processed and then the email to say order canceled and money refunded no explanation!!!

Just bought brake caliper (rear,driver side), first of all paid for prime delivery, got refund because didn't happened. Got delivered even 2 days after initial time.Opened box and...wrong side...I ordered on Mister-auto.ie and believe they should know what side is driver side in Ireland even dispatch is from continental Europe. Sorry don't see myself bying anything from them again.

The company is unable to ship the order on time, it many products are missing in stock - they are always late. We must be careful when booking a car repare, preferably plus a month from the package.

This is the third time I bought car stuff from them. Very good price in comparison with others online. Make sure you cross-check the part number before purchasing as the same car registration would be returned by different variations of your car model.

"Do Not Deal With Them"
I ordered a window regulator for a BMW118I notwithstanding I provided registration number and all pertinent info, when the part arrived it was not compatible and spurious, when I contacted them I was sent a free post return, after some weeks they did make refund but with a deduction of 18.00 Euro!! in all these internet vehicle sales platforms the only company I trust is micks garage.ie very professional and fast no quibble refund I have experienced a total financial loss to include technicians fees 80.00 Euro So please give them a wide berth, P.S: When I was ordering the subject window regulator it questioned Drivers side or passengers side as I was ordering from Ireland I stated Drivers side when it arrived it was for the left hand side what they omitted to state was that the parts were been dispatched from France Never again will I even open their page.... I just wonder what trades description view is!

Avoid at all costs
This company is not based in Ireland despite the .ie web address. They ship from mainland europe. I entered my car registration and selected a 'drivers side' item which when it arrived was actually for the passenger side because they come from Europe. It also appeared to be for the wrong car so the side issue became academic.
I called customers services who told me they knew about the problem with drivers side vs passenger side on their website and that it was 'unfortunate'. I have to wonder why they have not posted a warning or fixed the problem!!
I then had to wait 14 days after I returned the part for my refund. The part was very badly packed, a small box crashing about inside a large one and I actually had to repair the box before posting.
Delivery is slow, packaging is poor, website is misleading, refund process is very slow and a no exchange policy in place. On top of that I believe they are deliberately misleading customers by pretending to by Irish based.
I wish I could give zero stars because I can find nothing what so ever positive about this company and the way it does business.

"a disgrace"
purchased 3 items from this crowd got a receipt and a delivery date i waited 6 days after the delivery expected time but the items never showed up so i contacted the courier with the tracking number and the courier had no record of it !! i then received an email telling me my payment had been refunded!!! zero contact from the company to explain why this happened. one star is one to many
the worst service i have ever experienced and will never use this company again.
