"We bought a Tahoe 4–6-person Spa"

We bought a Tahoe 4–6-person Spa. I was persuaded to choose this model by the phrase in the description "90 aqua jet massage system " Once set up I was disappointed to find simple air bubbles. Having said that this product is a happy medium between an inflatable spa and a solid resin hot tub, it does look very nice and not like a large paddling pool.
When putting it together, be prepared for all components to be a tight fit and you will need a strong grip. This is to be expected in order for it to hold its shape and rigidity.
If you want something that's a quick set up, take down and put away on a whim, this is not the spa for you. If you want something that stays up for the season or longer but don't want a permanent car sized lump in your garden then this could be a good option.
Another thing that persuaded me to buy this product was that in the description and illustrations WiFi controls were seen. After our first use we went back to the instructions to set up the WiFi. We installed the ap and received the code etcetera only to find no WiFi button on the controller. We emailed Wave Spa to see if a WiFi controller could be sent. They replied saying "the WiFi function is not compatible with your version."and that "We are asking the website team to change this."
So, expected aqua jets are not aqua, just air jets and expected WiFi, not there. Subsequently my initial high star rating and recommendation has fallen, how very disappointing!

"Fantastic customer service"

Fantastic customer service. I ordered some filters from wave. I went to replace them and realised they didn’t fit as they weren’t the right filter type.
I contacted the customer service last night and sent some photos. By the time I’d woke up this morning they had already replied and sent me the replacement filters .
No hassle, no fuss. Great service

" Great Hot Tub, Even Better Service - Some Room for Improvement"

I'm a repeat customer of Wave Spa, and their service continues to impress. My Tahoe Eco Foam Hot Tub arrived less than 48 hours after ordering. The improved thermal efficiency is already noticeable – my tub maintained its heat far better than my previous model.

I did retain the inflatable thermal cover & bubble wrap layer from our square inflatable tub to act as additional thermal layers. So far it's working well as long as you deflate it a bit so the cover can fit correctly.

Setup was mostly straightforward, but two areas could be better:

Foam panel instructions:
The included instructions on how to assemble the foam panels were lacking. I found clearer directions on the Wave website.

Liner alignment:
Without a specialized tool, attaching the liner to the velcro was difficult for me. Wave, if you have such a tool, let me know – this would be a useful accessory even for those who have issues with grip in their hands.

One last note: the instructions don't mention the purpose of the included clear plastic tube. Is it for drainage?

After 24 hours, monitoring the energy usage, we have seen the difference from the old inflatable tub to the Eco Foam tub. The cost dropped by £2, and then by another £3 when we used the timer function for it to turn on after 18 hours.

Pros:
- Excellent customer service and fast delivery
- Noticeable energy efficiency and heat retention
- Mostly straightforward setup
-Depth is better, allowing for more water to cover the body

Cons:
- Foam panel installation instructions could be clearer.
- Difficult to align liner properly without a tool.
- Unclear what the included plastic tube is for!.

Improvements:
- Timer Function should allow for repeat patterns of turning on & off for more efficiency.

Overall, I'm very happy with the Tahoe Eco Foam Hot Tub and would recommend it, especially to those looking for energy efficiency.

29/05/2024 - Update
One month in - The tub has been working great, energy usage is down, with the timer (not a repeat timer) we've dropped our costs from £10 a day to keep the inflatable tub heated at a decent temperature to around £3.50 a day with other electrical costs!

BIG downside - the remote control is not water proof where the cable enters the remote, today it stopped responding to any button presses or powering off. So far I've not managed to get it to respond and I'm waiting on Wave Support to get back to me about this as it seems to be a big oversight that the remote is not as water/weather proof as it seems!

"Everything was good for the first few…"

Everything was good for the first few months, we loved the tub and it worked great. We had an Osaka. I understand if they are improving their product over time, but apparently at the expense of customers. They have not stood by their product as I would hope for this level of cost and quality portrayed. Initially there was a problem, but a new liner was sent promptly. About 6 months in we turned the air on and the inner liner separated from the sidewall of the hot tub and created air pockets around the edges. Shortly after that, all through the tub there started to be rigid wrinkles and then the tub started leaking. When we informed wave spas of this they told us that we were beyond the warrantee period and that we could buy replacement parts if we wished. When the liner was removed because it leaked, the foam was deformed and compressed on one side and looked like it was starting to disintegrate. Beware, most of the reviews are in the first few months and during that time ours worked great too. For the cost of these spas, I would expect them to last more than 6 months. The heater/filter unit also has gotten louder as time has gone on, we now turn it off when we are in the tub because it got so loud. If you only put it up and take it down and dry it out when you don't use it, it might work better but both the initial and replacement liner didn't last more than 6 months, so just beware.

"Thermal cover protector "

What a brilliant product, the Thermal protector cover fits perfectly in the Wave Spa. We couldn’t believe how much quicker the water heated up and how it stayed so much warmer. A great product, highly recommended. Arrived really quickly and well packaged.

"don't bother with this company "

don't bother with this company . First I pre ordered and they told me it was being delivered next it was out of stock again. sent me an alternative wrong colour. we've now spent a week trying to convince them to take it back as the pump / heater is clearly faulty. trying to get us to prove we've done everything or to say we've not plugged it in correctly when it's been plugged into 3 different sockets in the house. it's a pile of crap. bubbles don't work littlerly just ripples so the pump isnt working . shuts off after 4 mins won't come back on for 20 minutes. waste of money and refusal to take it back and refund . never had so much ago in my life with a faulty item
will make a smalls claims through the courts if they don't sort this out .
and don't bother with customer service phone line goes to VM and they answer emails EVENTUALLY ! been a week and have a very dissapointed disabled son

"Bad customer service"

Bad customer service. Wave spas sold items they didn’t have and refused to refund for items not in stock. 2 weeks of conversations and they were refusing to refund. Clearpay dispute raised and another 5 days later refund issued. 3 weeks to get refund after waiting week and half for items to be dispatched. But from lazy spa instead.

"Hot Tub from Wave Spas"

We brought our Wave Spa just over a year ago along with a Thermal Cover and an outer cover and we used it throughout the year and I must say it was the best investment we have made. We also recently had to purchase a protective cover to replace one we already had,to keep the heat in the hot tub. I had an issue with my order which turned out to be a Google pay issue but the Customer Service team at Wave Spas sent me out a replacement very promptly. I would definitely recommend buying a Wave Spa Hot tub to anybody and their Customer Service is excellent. Very well done 5 Stars

"Wave Spa delivers excellence every time"

I recently purchased the Atlantic Integrated Spa Rattan Inflatable (6 persons) from Wave Spa, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. This hot tub is an absolute game-changer! From its sleek design to its soothing jets, every aspect of the spa screams luxury and relaxation.

First off, I have to commend Wave Spa's customer service (special mention to Paddy). They were incredibly helpful throughout the entire purchasing process, answering all my questions promptly and ensuring a smooth transaction. It's clear that they prioritize customer satisfaction, which is something I greatly appreciate.

This isn't my first purchase with Wave Spa either. This is actually my second hot tub from them, and just like the first one, it has exceeded all my expectations.

Our first purchase from Wave Spa was the Rigid Foam spa which was so economical to run, like 1p a day and was awesome. For our 2nd purchase we decided to try an inflatable version as they have recently changed the design so the heater is integrated inside the spa so we ordered the Atlantic Integrated Spa Rattan itself, it's nothing short of amazing - & so much quieter plus the integrated features make it a breeze to set up & use. Whether I'm looking to unwind after a long day or host a relaxing evening with friends, this hot tub is the centerpiece of our outdoor oasis.

Overall, I can't recommend Wave Spa enough. If you're in the market for a top-of-the-line hot tub backed by exceptional customer service & value for money, look no further. Wave Spa delivers excellence every time.

I have to say every time i step into my wave spa, its like coming home…

"Great service, fast warranty replacement"

My heating unit for my hot tub broke within the 1 year warranty period. I contacted support and after sending a video showing the issue Wave swiftly sent me a replacement heating unit!
Great customer service, fast shipping of the replacement, and a warranty that covers most ways the system can fail. 10/10 would recommend again
