"Stuck with a broken fridge in the middle of my living room!"
Absolutely appalling customer service, ordered a fridge/freezer from Currys which was delivered on 05/04/24. My daughter who was in to recieve the order said the delivery driver was rude and bashed the fridge all the way up the stairs (we live in a second floor flat). Once installed (I paid Currys for installation) the fridge didn't work. The light turned on but not matter what we tried it would not get cold.
I immediately phoned Currys on learning this and was told they were unable to do anything and that I had to contact the manufacturer to get a code for repair or replacement. I find this ridiculous as Currys sold me the fridge. They told me they could send an engineer out to see if it was fixable so I agreed, I desperately needed a fridge and had been without a working one for over a week at this point. Two days later they sent the same delivery driver (not an engineer), who confirmed it was broken and said he didn't know why they sent him. I contacted Curry's again and they said there was nothing they could do and I would have to contact Sharp the company that made the fridge. I did this (this took me three attempts as they kept hanging up on me). By this point I just wished to return the fridge and go elsewhere for another. Sharp told me again they would need to send someone out to confirm the fridge was broken and couldn't be fixed. I explained I just wanted to return the fridge and Currys had already confirmed it was broken. Sharp said they had to send an engineer out but they couldn't send anyone until 18/04/24. I explained that was ridiculous. We are a household of three one of whom is 8 months pregnant and we must have a working fridge/freezer. I told them I was going to buy another fridge so they could by all means come and look at it but I was not keeping the broken fridge. On 17/04/24 I received a text message cancelling the engineer and re-booking for 30/04/24.
I live in a small two bedroom flat with my daughter and her partner, they are expecting a baby on 04/05/24. I brought a new fridge over a week ago from another company, it was installed perfectly and works like a dream (there was a minor dent in the door and their customer service was FANTASTIC).
I know have a full size fridge/freezer in the middle of my living room and we are about to welcome a new born baby into our home. Neither Currys nor Sharp seem to care remotely or want to come and collect the fridge. I may end up having to leave it outside at this rate but I have no intention of keeping or paying for this fridge and I will NEVER order from either company again!

My washing machine of 8 months broke, I have waited over a week for the company to send an engineer out! I had a message this morning to say my engineer would arrive between 9am and 11.25am! He didn't arrive. I clicked on the link in the message and it said I was the next call, then I received a message from the engineer to say due to a technical fault I had been given the wrong time! It would be between 1.09pm and 4.09 pm. I rang Sharp at 12.30 to see what was going on to be told they couldn't get in touch with the the engineer, but had left a message for him to ring them and they would then ring me, at 3.30 I rang Sharp again to be told they still couldn't get in touch with the engineer!!! But he was definitely coming to me today. It's now 5.40pm no engineer and now phone call. So my review is what a rubbish company. And I will be seeking further advice. 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Which I would of looked a the reviews, before buying a sharp product, 8 weeks in it broke, Took two weeks of an engineer to come out to Fix after one week has broke again with a different vault

washing machine broken within less than a year, told it would have to be replaced.After 1 month still no idea when I will receive a replacement. Called customer service team - yet again - to be on hold for over an hour & got cut off twice. Still no uplift code!! was told to call back today (even though I said are you open as its Good Friday!! Oh yes someone will be able to take your call) -Well that was a lie as phone lines closed - so now will have to wait until Tuesday to try to get hold of someone & hopefully get this issue sorted out. Worst customer service I have ever had to deal with

"Broke still under warranty"
My sharp washing machine broke a month before it was out of warranty. I have taken insurance too just in case it was accidental. They have promised me a 3 hour window the day before which the time now has passed to receive this slot and yet they state on their website that if I cancel that day I may still be charged. I called them today to tell them I needed a way to cancel or postpone as I have an emergency vet app in the morning and there was nothing on the message apart from the fact he was due in the morning. I have taken the day off work for this and will loose over 200 and yet they can't do their job and lie. I'm disgusted with them. They say you will receive the message by 6pm but their lines close at 5pm. Joke. Not only are their products useless and don't last but their customer service is just as shocking

"Aquos TV. Absolutely awful"
I wanted to add my voice to the various comments regarding Aquos TVs.
The one I have is a piece of junk and has been from day one.
It has always ‘lost’ it’s tuning of stations. Chunks of the list of stations will just disappear so you have to re-tune to get them back. Totally random. Sometimes it will lose a few, sometimes half the channels etc. the most annoying thing is when it just ‘hangs’ on the channel list. The ‘roundel’ in the top right corner spins permanently with a ‘loading’ message. This does not clear at all. The set is completely unresponsive from then on. It will take no notice of any other remote button input. Not even the ‘off’ button. The only way out is to completely unplug the set to a total power down. It has a ‘record to usb’ function which works if it feels like it. It will show ‘program saved’ and show the little record icon on the channel list, but 50% of the time absolutely nothing happens and nothing is recorded. If it does record something it doesn’t show on the record list (so can’t be deleted) although it can be played back. Oh! The list goes on and on.
This is undoubtedly the worst, most unreliable set I have ever owned and after 18 months I am thoroughly tired of ‘fighting’ with it all the time and it will soon be heading for the dump. It’s criminal to scrap an 18 month old TV, but I can’t even give it away to family or friends because I know they will become as frustrated with it as quickly as I did.
As others have said, any attempt at help is totally futile. I’m sure my 10 year old nephew is more tech-savvy than sharp’s ‘customer service’. I’ve tried an internet connected firmware upgrade but nothing fixes it.
Another sharp product? I don’t think so!
I cannot remember being so bitterly disappointed with any other product I’ve bought - ever.

Washing machine deemed unrepairable after less than a year. More than a week after still have not heard from them with an uplift code, so that it could be exchanged. On hold for customer services for over an hour. So far still holding
