Purchased a LC40FI5442 40 inch TV.
after 13 months the remote stsrted to play up (red button to power on/off).
Spoke to sharp and the refuse to pay or contribute as it is 1 month out of warranty.
Seemed more keen to direct me to their spares website to sell me a new remote.
Remote costs £20 retail (maybe £4 cost for Sharp) - will never by Sharp again.

I wouldn't put even one star. The worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Incompetent service - you would not like to hear "I don't know what is wrong with your fridge".
Impossible to call customer service- keeps saying "unable to complete the call" when dial any option.
Asked for refund 5 weeks as fridge was not fixed all. Still waiting....

"Poor Poor Poor"
Bought a combination microwave on 25th May. Not working. Phoned Sharp customer service. About as friendly as mud! Had me send a load of pictures of the microwave which I did. Heard noting from them after 10 days. Phoned them - ok they say we will get you a new one. Fantastic, I'll wait to hear from them. Phone call this morning. They dont have this model you will need to go back to Argos with this code and they will sort it out. Buck passed. Now Argos no one answering phone, no online chat. Cant physically carry it back to a store due to disability, that's why it was delivered to me. Appalling customer service. My frustration goes on as I repeatedly try to get a new microwave. Sharp? Not very.

Sharp dishwasher is still under warranty but stopped working. IMPOSSIBLE to get through to Currys or Sharp Home Appliances to get it sorted. So FRUSTRATING!!!! How can they run a business like this?

"JUNK JUNK JUNK"
Bought a Sharp ultra HD 4k 40 inch smart TV in May 2020 & around 4 week's later started with unbelievably annoying issues.
Eventually stopped playing up then in late July started having different major problems with it so I'm now taking it back where i bought it for a full refund which has already been agreed by the store i bought it.
By far the absolutely worst TV I've ever had & from now avoid ALL sharp electrical products like the plague so kindly suggest EVERYONE else does exactly the same at all cost's

Is there anybody there???? 82% one star ratings on TrustPilot says it all. Sharp Induction Hob faulty and covered under warranty. Called the support number (several times) - basically press 1 for oblivion. Emailed original invoice and warranty confirmation to the support email. No acknowledgement and no response. No online chat. So this is going really well as other customers have reported. Hey ho, pay peanuts and get monkeys. It takes years to build a brand, and it takes about 5 mins to destroy. Won't be buying Sharp again. I'll update if there is ever a reply.
9th September - well here is the promised update. Well having exhausted all avenues including Vestel who own Sharp, with no reply whatsoever despite their "Mission Statement" about achieving great customer service (I did laugh out loud at that one) had a call from 0800repair who are subcontracted to Sharp. They in turn sent a subcontractor from Toucan Appliances who arrived 25th Aug and said it's the power pack. Part to be ordered. Today, 2 weeks later had web chat with 0800repair - part not yet even specified by Toucan so not yet ordered. Also have me logged as Accidental Damage and not a Warranty Claim so guess I'll have a 2nd battle over payment. It's just a chain of incompetence. Watch this space! And I see it's now 84% One Star for Sharp
18th December - finally repaired!! Very exciting. Engineer came with 3x the spare parts. My suggestion that he left the extras with me for the next time it broke didn't amuse. I also never heard back from anyone at Vestel about their Corporate Mission Statement to be amazing. Never heard from Asos who sold me the hob. But we got there in the end.

compré una placa de inducción en eureka y me garantizaron que hacía una buena compra en calidad precio y que no tendría ningún problema.
Cuando la probé ya me di cuenta que hacía mucho ruido de ventiladores, luego cuando llega a la ebullición se para de golpe para empezar de nuevo a calentar, pero lo más sorprendente es que cuando se apaga, a los veinte minutos se ponen a funcionar de nuevo los ventiladores, algo también muy relevante es que la botonera de touch no va bien y cuando subes la temperatura ya no baja y viceversa.
Llamé a la tienda en pleno confinamiento explicando lo que le pasaba antes de los 15 días y dijeron que la tenía que llevar yo....a lo que me la jugué al ser de otra comunidad y la llevé, pero entonces dijeron que esa marca no devolvía sólo reparaban, así que me enviaron al técnico el cual me dijo que el ruido es normal y todo lo que le pasa es normal con lo cual solo me cambiaba el touch y no podía hacer nada más. Aunque la tienda me dijo que era defectuosa, pero el técnico decidió que no.
EXIJO CAMBIO O DEVOLUCIÓN para poder volver a confiar en la marca SHARP.

"Poor Design of Sharp Microwaves"
Sharp Microwaves are so poorly designed. A £200ish microwave starts arcing within 4 years. Then they say that the Wave Guide cover needs replacing. Fair, but the mica cover is so brittle that if you even bend it slightly to take it out of the groove, it breaks. So, you can't put the new one in without breaking it. It's such a poor design. Why can't they simply make a U-shaped slot where one can simply slot it in ? Or why can't it be fastened with 2 vertical plates - one on each side - with 2 screws on each side ? A schoolboy could fix this design issue, unless it is deliberate to increase sale of new microwaves. Also, they have an upper Grill element, which does not work. Is that just for show ?

Brought a Sharp microwave just over 2 years ago. Today it ceased to work ! This is just rubbish and of course Sharp don’t want to know. Stay well clear if I was you....
