"Great customer service!"

I purchased an AQUOS Sharp TV from John Lewis approximately 1.5 years ago - it broke down last week. I called John Lewis and they directed me to Sharp Customer service. I called them on Friday and explained the problem. They asked me to send them pictures of the TV and a screenshot of my online receipt; they collected the TV on Monday and I just got it back, only two days later. I am very happy to have my TV back and it seems to be working fine! Thank you Liam and Sian!

"Wasted my time - didn't show up or apologise"

Booked an appointment, which was rescheduled. Second appointment was confirmed over text, then they didn't show up. They did not pick up mobile phone, ignored my text, could not get through to sales and did not respond to email. Still have not even had any courtesy contact to apologise for wasting my time. Given I am furnishing a brand new place, I had to drive over an hour to get there! Very unprofessional.

"Stick to the main brand leaders"

Bought a 55" TV as we wanted to upgrade to a larger screen size. Thought we were getting a good deal at £400 for a smart full hd 55", turns out we should of stuck with our older Panasonic. So much going wrong with it and it's barely 3 months old. Sharp not responding to emails. Looking into getting our money back so we can invest I to a proper brand that understands the technology. Complete waste of space

Absolutely excellent service! All who have helped me at UMC HAVE BEEN NOTHING BUT FRIENDLY, helpful and informative! I have been a lover of sharp TV’s for many years and they do not disappoint! Having recently upgraded to the 50BJ5K it is absolutely excellent quality and at such an amazing price!! I have had to phone the help line a few times and got assistance and the individuals I spoke to have been so kind and patient in assisting me. I say all these bad reviews are nonsense!! Sharp is an amazing brand as are the people who are always there to help in regards to it!

"Sharp TV keeps switching off"

I bought one November 2018 within 3 months it asked me to download update but it didn't work so I had to send it back for repair. It has now developed another fault where when I watch anything through the installed apps Netflix iPlayer etc it will switch itself off several times. This seems to be a recurring fault. They have said I will have to return it again but at a cost this time as the guarantee has expired. I only paid £170 so going to put up with it and buy a better model next time. Not impressed

"I bought a sharp tv on the 24th of…"

I bought a sharp tv on the 24th of March start of lockdown for my nana who is 98. The tv make was SHARP 49” for £329 from Asda. I took a photo of my mum holding the tv in Asda. Due to the stress of self isolation and quarantine we misplaced the receipt. Not even 2 months into having this tv as i was pressing power on the remote it was coming on then instantly switching back off which baring in mind was only plugged in at night then unplugged. I tried everything to googling and changing the remote battery’s to unplugging the tv changing the power supply. I called Asda to explain the tv was paid with cash and the receipt had been misplaced could they investigate the tv as this wasn’t 2 months old yet. The lady from Asda told me there was nothing at all that could be done even though I had the exact date and Time.I couldn’t face telling my poor nana she was out of a tv that she paid all sorts of money for it to break for no reason? I then called customer support for sharp and he told me 90% of problems are fixed through trouble shoot support, the man asked me to unplug my tv and plug it back in after I did that there was no change, he said he had tried everything and there was nothing further that could be done I was so angry as my 98 year old nana isn’t a tv engineer and they where wanting to go over this with her I wasn’t happy as I felt discriminated if I had paid with card they could find my proof of purchase but because I paid with cash they couldn’t help me. The problem actually is that my nana was sold a faulty tv and because she didn’t have proof of purchase she is now stuck with a Tv that sharp won’t even investigate. I begged and begged and they still refused. PEOPLE PLEASE DONT BUY A SHARP TV THEY SELL FAULTY TVS TO OLD AGE PENSIONERS AND REFUSE TO HAVE IT INVESTIGATED due to there own faults!!!!!!

Can’t stress this enough they are cheap but you are buying something that’s going to break not even 2 months into it!!!

Disgusting company with disgusting staff members who SCAM OLD LADYS.

"Only had my sharp 55 inch smart tv two…"

Only had my sharp 55 inch smart tv two years. It look the business but the cheap electronics becomes very obvious. TV kept turning it self off when it wasn't in sleep mode. TV keeps freezing when changing the channel and picture quality is crap. Have had to order a new Samsung tv as I want to throw the cheap crap sharp tv .

"Bought 2 Sharp TVs off Currys over the…"

Bought 2 Sharp TVs off Currys over the weekend. A 40" 4k Smart and a 32" Smart. Both were so easy to set-up, I didn't even need to look at the instructions. Connected to wifi no problem, Netflix, Amazon and Freeview Play. Designs are nice enough, picture quality is great. Price was very reasonable for such a well know brand name. Personally very happy

I really don't understand all the negative reviews! I have recently purchased 3 televisions for the children's bedrooms, superb picture quality, really easy to set up, good simple menu and most importantly great value for money.
