"I bought a television from sharp it is Rubbish"

I bought a television from sharp, it is actually not that bad to be honest.

One closer inspection when the tele was on the wall I noticed that the screen is damaged at the bottom in the corner ( Hardly noticeable, but damaged)

When I called up sharp they told me that it was damaged by pressure and I or TV company who fitted it must of done it.

I actually find this quite funny - I bought a 50 inch 4K tele from Costco for 300 quid.

You get what you pay for I guess - badley put together tele with cheap components that came to me damaged- when you call the helpline they are rude and blame you for it ! Hilarious 😂

Sharp are an absolute joke - cheep but not cheerful, in fact bloody miserable.

Pay a bit more and get a quality TV.

Disgraceful to be spoken to like that in this day and age.

It’s not a suprise to see all the other bad reviews on here - you would be better buying 2nd hand goods down a dark alley than buying a sharp product, it’s a safer bet.

learn from my lesson and pay a bit more.

"Bought a Washer/dryer from Currys"

Bought a Washer/dryer from Currys. It was delivered faulty and they acknowledged this and changed it. Then 10 months later the machine stopped working. The one that I paid £400 for.

I contacted them but they are the most useless bunch of people I have ever dealt with. Never have I ever written a bad review about a company but never have I ever dealt with this low level of customer services in my life.

Two months later and I am still with a broken machine and they are still confused with what they need to get replaced. I have written complaints and asked for money back but nobody cares.

I advise anyone to stay as far away from this brand as possible.

"We have a Sharp dishwasher"

We have a Sharp dishwasher, purchased approximately 12 months ago, which carries a two-year warranty. It recently developed a problem that required engineer attendance. The Sharp contact number gave very poor service--e.g. 48 hours to process the initial referral--and it was a week before (after considerable persistence) an engineer was booked to attend and to fix the problem. The engineer was brilliant...but was subcontracted to Sharp, and therefore blameless for the delay. There is little point in Sharp offering warranty services if the services team is unable to process them efficiently: the company needs to employ more call centre staff, and to motivate them appropriately.

"Purchase an integrated sharp dishwasher…"

Purchase an integrated sharp dishwasher from Currys I did not fit it straight away only to find the door fitting kit was missing. Now they will not send parts and I have a dishwasher with no door.

"Dishwasher f47w-en"

Dishwasher f47w-en. We use program number 5 of 9. When we switch it on and press "p" as instructed program 6 is displayed and so the button has to be pressed 9 times to get back to the program 5 we require. Crazy! Sharp say it is designed like that. Why couldn't it display the last program when switched on. How long is that button going to last.

"I bought Sharp microwave for 160…"

I bought Sharp microwave for 160 pounds, and in 2.5 months it broke. Was saving for it 4 months, and so unhappy with the quality of item. Could not believe that something so expensive can broke so fast. Never will buy something from sharp.

"Poor customer service"

Poor customer service, rude unhelpful. 28 days with no idea of repair and really dont seem to care, no manager to speak to, no escalation policy,no call backs. JUST BLOODY UNHELPFUL, WILL NEVER BUY SHARP AGAIN

"£11 charge for instruction manual"

Just bought a 24" Sharp TV from Costco and found that Sharp only supply a "quick start set up guide" which gives you zero info.Apparently you can phone them and in their words "we will happily send an instruction manual to you".So I phoned and was told I could have the manual for £11. WHAT !!!!. We don't include the manual in the packaging as it is a "green" initiative they told me, I'm surprised they didn't blame Brexit !! Well guess what,you know what you can do with your manual, you can stick it in a place where the sun don't shine. This is the first Sharp product I have ever bought and it sure as hell will be the last.

"Poor customer service. SHARP not recommended."

We have had now 7 weeks without a fully functional fridge. We contacted sharp on the 28/08/19. Of which there was a breakdown in communication, where sharp did not pass our details onto the repair company. If I had not phoned up repeatedly to check then we could still be waiting.

Constant repairs to fix a fridge, further delaying process. No offer of temporary replacement or compensation of hours lost at work/on phone/food goods lost. (considering this is under warranty - the terms do state they don't compensate this but 7 weeks without a main home food appliance is poor).

Been a further 2 weeks 'awaiting sharp to order a part in for fridge repair', same answer of 'waiting' when we contact. Customer support team on phone can be abrupt and not helpful.

It has got to the point where we have bought a temporary fridge ourselves from a different company while this fridge awaits repair. I feel sorry for families who have children or are caring for family members, of which have or possibly will go through this.

After discussing with many friends and family. With many competitors available in the market for appliances.

SHARP is not a recommendation.
