Such a horrible afterservices provided by SHARP company. I have tried contacting the company 9-10 times , but still not a single reply from their side. My washing machine isn't working from 3 weeks now. I had tried all the options from my end. The company isn't even responding to our Query. Worst experience from such a reputed company!

"Dishwasher - broken and waiting for repair."
We bought the dishwasher from Curry's in February, it broke in August and now four weeks later we're still waiting for a repair. Initially when I rang customer service centre to enquire about when I could expect the engineer to come out I was told ' they have to order parts first'. I asked how they knew which parts to order without seeing the machine and was told that the engineers 'know which parts to get'. The lies and fobbing off continue and I would not recommend buying anything from Sharp after this.

"Fire hazard new washer dryer"
Sharp 9/6kg washer dryer. Faulty in the first month. Overheating on normal cycles, smelling like burning rubber, clothes smelled burnt, and knob too hot to touch. Faulty digital cycling length timer kept adding on hours and hours. Short cycles leave clothes very damp. Then clanking metal parts two months old. Sharp has spent two weeks saying they are sending a technician with parts, unhelpful when I’ve rung for status updates, won’t give a prognosis and just guessing at the faults, wasting more of everyone’s time and money. I’ve just spent £50 at laundrette. Bad company to work with. Such complaints constitute fire hazard and are unacceptable for new appliances. No reply to my email with photo and video and descriptions.

"SHARP Dishwasher"
SHARP sold a faulty product. I bought it from Currs. Damaged door and once I complanied, they told me to keep it and they will give me 50 pounds for keeping a faulty product. I refused, they sent out the engineer and he said it was the installation fault and oh yes the damaged door . He put the new machine and did a dry run, as soon as I ran it with the dishes in, they were not drying at all. And for that I again went to Currys PC World. spent 2 hours with them and no progress. They sent out the engineer, who lifted the trays and fiddled around with the pipes. He once again said it was installation fault. He said we wont be charged and now I received hte invoice. The door wont shut now. Currys is selling faulty products and the SHARP products and their customer support is a nighmare. My requests to all consumers is NOT to buy any SHAPR products and buy no products from Currs PC world.

I bought a Sharp Microwave about 15 months ago (model R760SLM). The microwave facility simply stopped working although everything else was ok. Tried to contact Sharp customer services. Endless wait in a queue (30 mins). I'm going to buy another microwave, any make but Sharp and advise all to do the same. A microwave with only 15 months light use should not stop working and customer support should support customers. Having seen other Sharp reviews it is a wonder Sharp sell anything.

I bought a sharp dishwasher from curries it worked for about two months then the control panel fell through the door I’ve now been waiting for 4 months for the part phoned a couple of times finally told me I had to make a complaint if I felt the wait was too long ! which I did do suddenly the part is in stock that was about two weeks ago and I’ve heard nothing so I’ve had a broken dishwasher twice as long as when it was working

Utter garbage. Can't get through a couple of hours without it turning itself off. Remote works when it feels like it and often need to get up and switch it off and on to reset it. Worst electrical product I have ever bought.
Found out that Sharp have sold the rights to manufacture to a Chinese shower called Hisense who clearly can't make tvs. Check out reviews in the US where Sharp are suing Hisense to try and get the name back due to the bad PR from the crap TVs they are making.
These are shifted cheap through APPLIANCE DIRECT. AVOID!!!

Ho acquistato una tv sharp acquos 40 pollici su Amazon perché mi serviva per mio padre che é affetto da ipoacusia e non riesce ad ascoltare senza l'ausilio delle cuffie. Nel contempo mi serviva che si potessero sentire senza escludere gli altoparlanti esterni, altrimenti mia madre non avrebbe potuto vedere la tv con lui.
Ho chiesto PRIMA di effettuare l'acquisto nella sezione domande se l'apparecchio avesse questa funzionalità e mi é stato risposto di si dal "produttore Sharp" .
Arrivato il tv non vi é possibilità alcuna in quanto inserendo lo spinotto della cuffia si silenzia il tv, chiedo di nuovo lumi e il "produttore sharp" insiste a dire che é possibile alzare il volume dal telecomando, rifiutandosi però di spiegare come...
Chiamo l'assistenza tecnica Amazon che si fa in 4 per aiutarmi, quasi un ora al telefono senza arrivare a una soluzione che probabilmente non esiste... Sempre l'assistenza amazon mi fornisce l'email dell'ass. tecnica Sharp, la quale mi liquida con 2 parole dicendo che loro li riparano solo i televisori..
Ho quindi speso i soldi e mio padre 85 enne non può sentire la tv, ma la Sharp che pensa solo a vendere i miei soldi non li vedrà piú di certo...

Needed a new door for my 29 month old sharp cooker K61D27BM1 was directed by them to partsplace.co.uk who wanted £244 later found sharp-parts.co.uk had same item for£100 neither had item in stock and quoted 5 weeks lead time.Scrapped cooker bought new AEG oven
Will never buy another sharp product .

"Worst washer-dryer i ever had, terrible customer service"
First of all, the sticker on the machine promising next day attendance is a lie. I have been given an appointment 3 weeks after i reported that the machine is still broken (after 2 engineer visits!). It took 1 week for the call centre staff to obtain the report from the second visit, then the company they outsource to couldn't offer anything sooner than 2 weeks. Had to chase the call centre several times as they don't call back. They also don't seem to be holding notes of what you say as one has to repeat the whole saga over and over. Don't bother to complain to Sharp directly, they don't care at all and won't reply.
Now about the machine e5hdd0147w0:
The fluff filter is tiny, about quarter the size of my previous machine. Have to be emptied at least once a week. The filter is also very low so it's impossible to put anything under to catch the water. If you don't fancy flooding your kitchen often than this is not a machine for you. After less than a year, the machine has been leaking, then stopped drying. Now it doesn't even heat up. It's just not fit for purpose.
