"Stick with Samsung or even Beko"
I contacted this company after my microwave failed exactly 12 months after installing it. They told me as it was out of its 12 month warranty they could do nothing about it, I said that it was not a very good recommdation of there workmanship for an appliance to fail in exactly 12 months when you would expect the lifespan to be at least 2 years. I took it it higher to the management level still with no satisfaction, they still said it was out of warranty, which was only 1 day, and could only suggest contacting a local repair man.
This is Sharp who I believe used to sponsor Manchester United at one time. What a come down, not even a top 5 manufacturer thes days but still say their products are of top quality. I beg to differ and would not buy or recommend there products to anyone.

"HUH!! NO WAY TO REGISTER = NO WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE"
HUH!!! I will not be writing a bad review about how my Sharp equipment broke down and I could not get it fixed because I CANNOT EVEN FIND A WAY TO REGISTER THE EQUIPMENT FOR THE WARRANTY TO BEGIN !!!.
For over 40 years I have been buying audio/visual/electronic equipment and usually there is a card along with the users manual to fill in a send away or now in this modern age there is a website address, you fill in all the details and you instantly get an acknowledgement of your purchase and information about the guarantee to download.
Not so in the case of the SHARP audio equipment I purchased on 8th December 2019.There was a paper leaflet insert , like the kind you get when the manufacturer has updated something not in the user manual , which informed me that my warranty rights were included in "the european warranty card which can be downloaded from double you double you double you dot sharp dot eu forward slash av " (trustpilot will not allow people to put the actual addresses for some reason)This site does not exist and you get redirected to a sharpconsumer dot EU site which has nothing about european warranty cards, warranties, guarantees or how to register a purchase. Not to mention that I had never heard of this EWC before.
There are UK sharp sites but these appear to be only for businesses and partner companies of Sharp.I found, with a bit of digging, a sharp uk site to register household appliances but not for audio equipment which is what I had bought.
So at the end of the day NO REGISTRATION = NO WARRANTY.
How they can get away with offering no guarantee or warranty to UK customers, who only find this out AFTER they have bought something is beyond belief.
FIRST & LAST TIME -WILL NEVER BUT SHARP EQUIPMENT AGAIN

"4T-C40BJ5KF2FB What you pay for is what…"
4T-C40BJ5KF2FB What you pay for is what you get.
So this is a 4K 40inch TV. Picture quality is according to what I expected (manufacturer uses screens from biggest providers LG/Samsung maybe Chimei) so there is no surprise here and the only reason for the 2 starts (as well as it has a Harman/Samsung speaker).
The build quality is poor (cheapest Chinese plastic) assembled in their Polish factory. The motherboard is made by M.Star and the first thing which it does when you start it up, that it is collecting information about use, which if you accept have no way to turn off (ever heard about GDPR?).
The remote control is poorly designed. Whoever did this has not clue of customer experience. On top of it it's so slow, that it takes forever to navigate. Between changes it takes 2-5 seconds.
I am a bit annoyed, that they did not have a non-smart version. Definitely buying a peripheral to control the TV and skip the poor smart experience.

"I bought a Sharp washer dryer 2 years…"
I bought a Sharp washer dryer 2 years ago. Brilliant appliance. No need to worry about recalls or other manufacturing defects that seem to plague other brands. Previous more expensive washer dryers have started to give up the ghost at this age but this Sharp one works as well as the day we installed it.

"Does not even deserve a 1 star"
Does not even deserve a 1 star! Disgusting service from them. My washer dryer broke down 1 year after purchase absolutely shocking!! The engineer they supplied did not arrive twice for no reason and would not take our calls! They finally sent some one else out to be told we would have to wait for parts! They will not be fixing our machine until the 27/12/19 and it has been broken since 29/11/19! Absolutely shocking avoid their products at all costs!!
**edit**
They did not fix my machine on the 27th December as they ordered the wrong parts for my machine! Conveniently not open that day and have not been able to get through since!

Bought a sharp microwave model number R272M just under two years ago. It has now broken and I have to buy another. Very disappointed with it thought I was buying decent product. Obviously sharp products have become one not to buy.

"We bought a Sharp qw-GDS4R443x…"
We bought a Sharp qw-GDS4R443x Dishwasher which was supposedly rated A+++ and had an environmentally friendly option, where the door opened to allow natural drying. This feature has caused the work top and surrounding doors to warp. We have had to remove the integrated door just for it to be able to close and work . Considering this was a much higher priced than similar Dishwashers, we thought we would have a supposedly better Dishwasher. However, not so! Sharp have been very unhelpful and told us it has nothing to do with them, despite the damage being caused by their so called ‘environmentally friendly’ appliance.in our opinion this is Not environmentally friendly as the kitchen units and work top now need replacing, because of the damage. Do not buy this product, it is over priced and the worse Dishwasher we have ever owned. sharp do not appear to care or provide any decent after service.

"Do not buy sharp"
I bought a dishwasher for £300, this luckily was installed by Currys so they could not blame me. Exactly 6 months down the line it stopped working after chasing for an engineer to come out for 3 weeks. He looked at it he said the computer system was busted and needed a new one - he ordered this before leaving. 3 months down the line I'm still waiting for these parts to be delivered. They say I should call weekly to check if the parts have arrived (no idea why I should be calling them really as they cannot even give a timeline on when the parts would arrive so just have to wait). Customer services feed me the usual rubbish of "I understand where your coming from" to which I say "No you dont".This was my first and last purchase from Sharp. Their products are faulty and customer service is useless. I'm now debating on whether I should take this to the skip and get a dependable make. If you want to throw your money away you can buy Sharp otherwise Do Not buy any Sharp products.
