"Unreasonable delays in refund."

My flight on 31st March 2020 was cancelled (booking reference T9SGW8). In March Fly Sharp requested a full refund; it is now August 2020 and they are avoiding payment. This must be resolved urgently.

"Avoid"

My flight was cancelled. 1 month later I am still waiting for a refund of £2000. FlySharp are full of empty excuses and delays. They tell me that they have lodged an application with the airline and I should check back in 3 weeks. But that is their problem - they should refund straight away.

"No proof of refund request actioned"

Poor customer service on calling 3 agents - Laks, Sultan and Shika. 2 disconnected calls from the last two reps. I wanted proof they have requested a refund on my behalf for my trip in late august. There were different responses, proof of refund request will come in 24hours or 30 days?. They could not put me through to a duty manager as unavailable. The previous reviews all seem similar about delays in refunds to customers or not at all. I am considering taking this forward with my travel insurance company and credit card company if Flysharp do not respond in writing with an adequate response.

"[Edited] Inconvenient customer service and terrible responses"

Had a flight in March for Malaysia via Malaysia airlines. Contacted Malaysia Airlines to enquire about our flight details where they explained that they provided a refund to FlySharp. FlySharp has then stated that they were only offering a credit voucher (Invoice 4416921). However, other customers have been receiving refunds from FlySharp and other brokers. I believe this is very unfair and we have been treated poorly by their customer service team. We tried looking at rebooking flights but the prices are ridiculously high and inconvenient for our current financial circumstance, yet convenient for FlySharp - ludicrously higher prices compared to the actual airline's service prices? Can I get contacted at your earliest convenience to resolve this issue?

[Edit] I am not going to edit my previous review, but I have edited the rating. Due to recent changes in the policy for FlySharp, we have received our refund promptly and immediately when requested for it. Their customer service team was much faster and better than before, I am unsure if anything in the company has changed but I have definitely gained more faith in booking under FlySharp.

As per my previous reviews I have proved to FLYSHARP via documentation from my solicitor that VIRGIN Airways refunded FLYSHARP in February and still no refund from FLYSHARP only more lies and excuses !
Really looking forward to the Court date !

"Still no refund 8 weeks later"

Still no refund 8 weeks later, I understand that is a bad time for everyone due to the COVID, however I tried to cancel my ticket since April/May time (when the government had announced that we couldn't travel only for emergencies), but even so Fly sharp made me wait till first week of Jun to claim the refund (which I can understand).. I requested it invoice (4468759) and they gave me a max of 6 weeks for the full refund.. now has been 8 weeks since I called them for the refund in Jun. Have contacted FlySharp several times to request the refund and after 6 weeks they asked for 2 more weeks... and nothing.
They have lovely staff however I need my full refund back, it is not fair.
So disappointed and frustrated with it

"Terrible. No refund after almost 4 months!"

Terrible. No refund. After making my original request for a refund on March 19th it has now been almost 4 months and still no refund in sight!! I have patiently waited after numerous email exchanges and telephone calls to convince this company to do the right thing and give me the refund I am legally entitled to. I have had to push for any useful information as FlySharp have not been forthcoming with any help whatsoever. I was told to contact the airline instead (BA). Extremely unhelpful and I am still waiting. Only thing left to do now is report this awful company and use the credit/debit card charge back service. Will never use this company again!
