"They have not paid our Reserve fees after 12months:"

We are still waiting on our "Reserve" fees being paid out 12months on.
These fees are meant to be paid out every 180days. But there have been no deposits into our account.
We have been assigned email contacts "Luigi Mastromarino", "Cleo Mahouva", "Roberto Bardone" from Team Checkout Portal and all they tell us is the the money has been paid and we should check our invoices and bank account for the deposits.
There are NO payments.
By our accounts, they owe us over £2000 so far.
They told us to look for the suffix "HB" on each bank deposit. Easy enough to find - if there were any!!
Also, the Wirecard Portal does not allow these Reserve payments to be seen. It doesn't allow much actually, you can't see your weekly statements and you need to have the head of a web-developer to understand the platform.
There seems they have not set up a system to repay this money.
I don't actually know how we are going to get this money from them. It is taking up valuable time trying to get any sense out of them and I feel my only option is to seek legal help.
Avoid this company.

"support nutzlos"

vorab: support absolut nutzlos, antwortet nur mit standard emailtemplates und geht nicht auf spezifische fragen ein.

für eine simple änderung im unternehmesprofil werden drölf dokumente zur "verifizierung" verlangt. klassischer fall von datendiebstahl, anders kann ich mir das nicht erklären. finger weg!

"Bad communication - no corporate policy"

I wanted to open a business account at the wirecard bank. After an inital deposit, filling many forms, postident and regulatory stuff my application was complete. It took wirecard 4 weeks to come up with an initial respone.

I just applied for a regular transactional account. According to an employee I was required to also open an merchant account. She was clearly pushing me an upsell. Never in the process or on their website it is mentioned that I should also open an merchant account for that company, or one of my daughter companys.

The employee concluded myself that I would not need such an account and therefore my application was rejected. Well, she was right that I did'nt want a merchant account, for the holding company. I did'nt even get the chance to discuss the opening of a merchant account for one of my daughter companies.

When asking further about their corporate policy, that an additional merchang account was required she answered that there is no such policy. This is incoherent with her information before. To get things more clear I tried several times to contact a person of the bank directly over the telephone. Sadly I coul'nt get past the operator. Each time all of the persons of the acount opening and sales department were out of office.

Then I started some more due dilligence about this company. And came over another load of bad reviews, strangling contracts.
Why should a bank which is such a bad communicator be the thurstworthy for my financial assets?
But I got never past the operator.

"Absolute Rubbish"

Worst e-commerce payment platform I have ever seen.

Under developed testing environment that is also not a 100% mirrored reflection of functionality of the LIVE environment.

In-accurate documentation.

Support responses are measured in months.

Money has been lost.

Totally pathetic service.

"Absolut unseriös"

Firma Wirecard ist absolut unseriös. Erst werden einem Zahlungsarten zugesichert, anschließend werden diese aus "internen" Gründen aus dem Account gelöscht. Holdback Vereinbarungen werden ohne Rücksprache geändert. Ebenso werden Support-Tickets unbeantwortet geschlossen.

Alles in allem Finger weg von Wirecard als Zahlungsanbieter! Auf Grund des schlechten und undurchsichtigem Service sowie Support kam es glücklicherweise zu keiner Zusammenarbeit

"Don't recommend"

Was OK'ish in the past... Wanted to login back again to see what was left on my debit card, but miss spelled my password. So my account got locked. Trying to get in contact with support/service is almost impossible (except when paying with their telephone number in germany, which is won't do). Won't even know if they will ever respond to my emails. Terrible service...

"The WORST company on earth, DO NOT USE IT"

I tried 3 time to connect my website to this gateway payment, the first 2 times I made my own e-commerce website with Wix.com
It was twice a disaster, I've been waiting for an approval for about 9 weeks, then checkoutportal told me "I'm sorry, but we can't work with your business at the moment..." not even gave me an explanation as I asked.
Cool, so I went to a professional web designer, as I thought maybe my website was not that professional, I spent 5K to have a brand new E-commerce, and then checkoutportal told me again, "we don't have enough proofs of your business, we can't work with you"

They are timewasters!! Nothing more!!
A bunch of idiots, the WORST company on earth.
Do NOT use it!!!!! Save yourself, DO NOT USE IT!!

"Wirecard Wix review - DO NOT USE!!"

I opted for Wirecard - Checkout Portal. I wish I hadn't. After jumping through hoops, providing copies of my ID, bank details etc and amending policies and generally going back and forth for two weeks my account was set up. Or so I thought.

As a new website, I assumed that initial sales were slow. My experience on other selling platforms was that people generally preferred paying by card rather than Paypal. All my sales were coming through as Paypal. I checked my Wirecard account, it looked to be ok and you could enter your card details on my website. I put it down to those ordering just preferring Paypal.

It wasn't until I received a bill that alarms bells really started ringing. How could I be charged when I had no sales via Wirecard. This bill coincided with a customer emailing to say they'd tried three different cards, all had failed, all should have been successful.

I contacted wirecard, I received a response over 48 hours later. Apparently it was my fault for not advising them that my .co.uk shop's currency was GBP. They hadn't set a currency on my account and there was no way that I could set one in my account section. It took them over 24 hours to respond to my response confirming I wanted my currency in GBP. They then responded with a 'We'll now pass this on to the relevant department' email.

At no point during the long process of setting up the account did they say then needed me to confirm this. They also vetted my website so would have clearly seen that every item was listed was in GBP.

I cancelled my account. I was told, even before cancelling, that I still need to pay for all these failed transactions which were incurred and that I'd be charged for any further failed attempts on my account!

Avoid Wirecard at all costs. It took my minutes to set up with Stripe instead and I've had no problems with payments through them at all.

Reasons to avoid:
- Extremely slow to respond to queries - when dealing with payments a quick response is essential!
- When you do get a response, it's a game of email ping pong. It feels like they prolong the whole process with tedious confirmations only to then be passed on to the 'correct' department.
- They'll fail to set up your shop in the correct/any currency if you're in the UK.
- You'll be charged for failed transactions because they failed to set up your shop correctly.
- You won't be made aware you need to confirm your shops currency until it's too late and you've already been charged for failed transactions.
