"AVOID - Appalling Customer Service - 8 weeks and still not operational service provided"

Avoid using this company at all costs on your website in the UK.
I have had nothing but issues in setting up my website payment systems.
My emails have been ignored, when you phone you can not speak to anyone who can help you. They have a portal ticket services to raise issues - they get ignored or closed without resolution.
Correct documents provided at their request are not actioned and missed, delaying processes. Every step takes another 5 days - even when it is down to their error. IF YOU WANT TO USE GBP AVOID AT ALL COST! THIS COMPANY WILL LOSE YOUR BUSINESS MONEY BY NOT SETTING UP YOUR PAYMENT SYSTEMS AND CAUSE YOU TO WASTE LOTS OF TIME CHASING THEM.
I have emailed the CEO today, waiting for a response about his employees poor performance. At the time of writing this I still have no service - 8 weeks waiting and counting.........

"Incredibly poor service"

I tried to open an account with wirecard and supplied them with all the details specified on their website. I then received an automated message telling me to make alterations to my website. I did this and then received exactly the same email telling me to make the same alterations. I replied and said I have already done this, and received THE SAME EMAIL AGAIN.
I then wrote to customer service to cancel my account as they wouldn't activate it, all the while I was losing business due to not being able to take payments. They replied and told me my account has been removed, but it hasn't and is still currently active.
AVOID this company. They don't care about customers and seemingly go out of their to treat customers poorly.

Edit: They are now ignoring my emails and will not remove my personal information, even though no transactions between us took place.

"Rubbish company"

Don't waste time with this rubbish company. I had account with Wirecard. They earn money from commission from peoples use Wirecard (Checkout portal) merchant account. In other words they depend on us or peoples use Wirecard (Checkout portal) merchant account. But instead of providing better customer service they are hiding in office and refuse to reply simple inquiry. I asked one simple question had issue to accept American Express payments. They never replied, i think they have pain in their hands to solve issues. I switched to different company far better than Wirecard (Checkout portal)
Wirecard (Checkout portal) just a plague.

"Avoid them like the plague."

They are not responsive, horrible service, ridiculously high fees and ignore critical emails. The real people that can help hide in the 'backoffice' and refuse to talk to anyone.

All the while they sit on your money. It's not a their problem to go without money, they have money. Yours.

Good luck (you'll need it) if you mistakenly decide to do business with these people.

"Terrible experience with setting an account with them"

Terrible company:
- very slow and poor communication with checkout portal
- respond to emails after a week and longer
- after waiting over a month without any results to activate my account with them as a payment gateway for my online store I gave up and went to competitors that set me up in 10 minutes!!!

"Checkoutportal Kundenservice eine Frechheit!"

Key Account Manager hat für die Freischaltung des Checkoutportals ca. 2-3 Tage angeben. Der Support in Österreich von wirecard war sehr gut, leider sind die Kollegen machtlos da checkoutportal eine deutsche Tochter Gesellschaft ist. Heute ist der 8. Arbeitstag und wir sind nicht einmal annähernd freigeschalten. Aufladen der Dokumente hat 5 Arbeitstage gedauert durch die ausgesprochen schlechte Information auf der Webseite was den nun wirklich nötig sei. Antwort von checkoutportal, dass sie zusätzliche Information benötigen dauert ca. 2.5 Tage und das war bei uns 2 x der Fall. Jetzt wird der Account bearbeitet aber niemand kann mir sagen wie lange das dauern wird, nur dass dann die eigentliche Freischaltung nocheinmal 5 Tage dauert. Kundenservice ist ausgesprochen schlecht, antworten auf nichts und können den Prozess nicht erklären. Wollte eine Beschwerde einlegen und das Support team gibt mir nicht einmal die email Adresse vom zuständigen Chef sondern nur die normale Support Adresse. Habe mich letzte Woche schon schriftlich beschwert und nicht einmal eine Antwort bekommen. Wir haben Unmengen an Geschäft verloren da wir unsere Werbekampagnen starteten mit der Erwartung, dass der Account innerhalb von ein paar Tagen funktioniert.
Stay away, absolutely shocking!

"Slechte service, drie jaar geleden al en nu nog steeds"

Ben al 3 jaar bezig met mijn account af te sluiten.
Dit is gebeurt via post, email en telefoon.
Het is pas opgezegd zodra hun dat willen, in de tussentijd blijven de gebruikerskosten doorlopen.
Ik maakte al voor opzegging geen gebruik meer van hun diensten, heb geen kaart in mijn bezit, kan niet meer in mijn gebruikersaccount...
Een beetje meedenken met de klant? Drie jaar geleden de openstaande kosten betaald, nogmaals opgezegd per mail, telefoon en post. Nu dus een rekening over drie jaar kosten voor gebruik van pas en geen mogelijkheid tot opzeggen tot die rekening is betaald.

"Worst bank, e-commerce and support service imaginable."

- Lack of contact, can take over a week to hear from support tickets.
- Account opening took over 3 months with zero communication as to the status of the account

- Again, terrible customer support, up to a week to deal with support tickets and then only to get, "Ticket has been forwarded to relevant department".
- Again, lengthy signup process (2 months) without communication
- Processed 2 payments on Virtual Terminal, they have now decided to close my e-commerce account for no reason and have now idea whether I am going to receive my payments.
- I have been charged for lots of extras on signup which I needed for them to take the facility away after 1 month with no reason whatsoever.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

"Lost my payment, very unskillful staff, cannot even track it"

A refund was made to my account, and they acknowelged that, however they lost it because my account was closed, and its been over 1 month and they are unable to track it.

"Langsamer, unkooperativer Kundenservice, teure Gebühren"

Vorab: Telefonisch ist der Kundenservice recht zügig erreichbar, wenn man jedoch im Ausland ist fressen einen die Gebühren auf, da der Service nur per 01805 erreichbar ist.

Per Chat habe ich stundenland NIE jemanden erreicht

Per e-Mail habe ich teilweise 3 Wochen bis zur nächsten Antwort gewartet.

Trotz der Tatsache, dass ich Kunde sein möchte um die VCC zu verwenden (die teuerer als der Einsatz meiner eigentlichen Karte wäre) wurden mir nur Steine in den Weg gelegt, so dass ich diese bislang nicht nutzen konnte. Wieso? Ich hatte, da die VCC mit meinem Aufladecode nicht an der Aufladestation zu laden war mir dort eine 2go Karrte gekauft - die AGB erlauben jedoch nicht den Besitz von mehr als einer Karte bei Wirecard. Wirecard weigert sich, mir den Kaufpreis der 2go zurückzuerstatten, der Händler ist ebenfalls nicht zur zurücknahme bereit, da er sagt, dass Wirecard diese nicht zurücknimmt.
