"I was disappointed in how my slides…"
I was disappointed in how my slides turned out. I submitted them based on reviewing them at home in my hand held slide viewer. None of them appeared as dark as they appeared when I received the digital versions of them. They were submitted for re-editing but many are still dark. I have decided to just not pay for the ones that are too dark to see the image clearly. As a positive, your staff, Tiffany in particular, has been very helpful and responsive. Additionally I am not computer savvy and the process of getting the images into a usable album was very trial and error.

This the second time I have used ScanCafe and I am happy with the results of 35mm negative scans, slide scans, and video copies. They do good work at a fair price. The turnaround time is quick and I like the option of reviewing the photos and being able to delete up to 20% of the scans. That saves a lot of time going through negatives. Just send them all and pick the ones you want.

"Couldn’t be easier"
Couldn’t be easier. Hardest part was going through hundreds of old slides. Narrowed it down to 220 slides and called a local photography shop to get an estimate. If there were no editing problems it was going to be in the area of $500. This was totally out of my price range and so I looked at other options. Found Scan Cafe and several others. Scan Cafe was the easiest for me to handle. Wrap them up drop into a UPS box. Done! They emailed me every step of the way. I am a senior and want my children to have these memories of their early childhood. Money well spent for me and a good winter/pandemic project.

"Hesitant at first, but so glad I did!"
I was initially hesitant about sending all my valuable photos to have them scanned. I had over 400 photos and I started scanning them myself on my printer/scanner. Forget it. I know I'd give up and never finish the job. So, I grouped them as I liked and sent them to ScanCafe. Quickly, I received an email about the receipt status. Within 2 weeks, everything was done, emails were sent to me throughout, stating the status. About 2 weeks in, I received the cloud link to review the photos. Excellent job. I'm so glad I chose ScanCafe to do what I know I'd never finish done. And the quality and price is just right.

"Quality result with some delay"
700 slides sent in. End product on thumb drive was excellent. First processing was very poor quality (can't believe it wasn't caught before providing images on the internet to me.) Second time thru was very good quality and expeditiously handled. All phone contacts with ScanCafe were professional and polite. Covid caused some personnel staffing issues I am sure. Disappointed with the long wait but end product was excellent. Clean up the time frame and the initial quality issues and you have a great program. Most slides sat in storage for close to 50 years so a little delay now was no biggie.Kids and grandkids will now enjoy pics from back in the day.
