"No end of problems with my smart meter…"
No end of problems with my smart meter and faulty electric meter, took numerous calls to UW to get to the bottom of the problem, then engineers came unannounced when I was out, another was booked who UW then cancelled, finally got one out after booking yet another full day off and more calls to sort, issue was fixed for a short while but then the smart meter went in the blink again, now I just reset it every time it stops giving readings as gave up with their customer service. Some agents very very good and helpful, some utterly clueless and unprofessional…felt like I was dealing with two different companies sometimes. In addition to being Overpriced. Switched today to British Gas, if things pan out as discussed with their agent today, I’ll be saving around £15-£20 a month on my combined gas and electric. Wish I’d done a switch ages ago!
