"i dont regret much but downloading and…"
i dont regret much but downloading and depositing money into this platform has by far been the worst self-destructive thing I could have done, this platform is a sick joke and just another scam to obtain a couple of bucks and more importantly your data

"I recently sign up"
I recently sign up, filled out all the information including my SS# but unfortunately I messed up my number by one digit, which they e-mailed me informing me that my SS# did not match and that I needed to correct the situation. Fine, I went into my account to do just that and after I corrected my SS# I was prompted to down load my DL, SS card, and take a selfie with my ID. Wow, that is a bit much to verify ones ID and I e-mailed back that I do not do selfies with my ID. That stuff gets intercepted and boom I'm on the dark web. So I'm closing this account down before I even get started. I've never been asked to disclose this kind of stuff from other broker platforms. Talk about redundancy, then you have to do all over again to withdraw your own funds.

"After opening an account with SGD100 I…"
After opening an account with SGD100 I later found without any trading, it was left with only $70/=.
Later on when I tried to trade which didn't go through, my funds became only $30. This kind of disappearing trick was brought to the attention of a representative who didn't do anything.
So I would won't recommend putting money in for trading.

"The APP of Moomoo is not user friendly…"
The APP of Moomoo is not user friendly at all, it is so confusing. First, it would not allow my account transfer from margin account to RRSP account. I must make direct deposit to RRSP for the contribution. Second, it limits my trading for ridiculous reason. During my application, I provided that I had two years of trading experience(full time) to be conservative even already have 5 years of experience. When I tried to purchase $500 of SQQQ, was told that based on my two years of experience, I cannot trade SQQQ because it is too complex for me.

"Beware of their free stock promotion"
Beware of their free stock promotion. I signed up for Moomoo under a five free shares promotion. I made the deposit of $100, bought a couple of shares of SFY and waited. When I checked some time later, I found that my free share coupons had been invalidated and revoked. When I contacted the customer service, they indicated that I had not maintained the balance due to my investments dipping by less than 5% in the period. I had made no withdrawals. They basically told me to go to hell.
I just checked the promotion again and it very clearly states that the requirement is based on "Net deposit = total deposit - total withdraw". Again, I had made no withdrawals.
So that promotion is a lie.
Completely unacceptable.
If you are going to do this promotion, here's a tip, don't invest your deposit. Just maintain the cash balance for the required period. After your stocks are awarded, pull the cash back out and send it over to a real brokerage like Fidelity, Vanguard, Schwab, Chase, Wells Fargo, Tradier, or Robinhood. Basically, any place other than Moomoo.
Update:
They finally contacted me almost eight months later seeking "the opportunity to resolve this issue".
When I emailed them back, they just copy-pasted a response explaining how I'm not getting my crappy shares.
So that was a complete waste of time for both parties.

"I'm using moomoo in Australia..."
I'm using moomoo in Australia, and from my own experience, they're pretty good down under. Their customer service is impressive. I started investing just last year, I've had loads of questions (probably some silly ones), but there's always someone ready to assist.
Another thing is...the platform is incredibly feature-packed. I was overwhelmed initially, but as I got familiar with it, it became a handy tool. I'd say I've only scratched the surface—there's still 90% of their features left for me to explore. Overall, they seem like a decent broker to me.

"A disaster letdown after 2 weeks of wasting time !"
I was excited about signing up to recently available moomoo, Canada after 2 weeks of research, and an online chat Dec 7 that went well.
So I filled out the application and got email on Dec 8 saying my account was approved. Glad, I clicked on th email link to customize my password, and logged in with the new password. Saw a question: Do you have another account? I said NO.
Guess what...I got some account number saying pending review, as if the whole process had been rebooted.
Needless, I am very ticked off.
Does nobody check the account process before writing this crappy software at this allegedly $5.8B firm ? Or is this some other trick to drag along the process while the customer thinks everything is going rocket speed ?
Last, I tried signing up on my PC instead of phone. But the username assigned by moomoo is declined as 'invalid.'
