As a customer of eReceptionist for about 6 years, I have experienced a service that, while not always perfect, was generally reliable and quite satisfactory. However, my experience in the last few months has been extremely disappointing. The lack of communication, issues with my account, and endless waiting times on the phone have become the norm. Responses to emails are either non-existent or delayed.
Adding to the frustration, there is now a £65 charge to port our number to another provider. I have scoured the Terms and Conditions but found no mention of this fee. This unexpected cost, coupled with the overall decline in service quality, is deeply disappointing.
Furthermore, some of the customer service agents I have interacted with seem disengaged. It's a stark contrast to the previously reliable and responsive service eReceptionist used to provide. Overall, the decline in service and support is disheartening for a long-term customer.

"Major reliability issues "
Support is terrible. I’ve been with this company for almost 6 years, first 5 years I had no major problems, this last 9 months ereceptionist has fallen well short of expectations. The phone lines are down often on our busiest days. I own a Taxi company and we have started getting our first ever 1 star reviews saying we never answer the phones, that our calls go straight to voicemail. This is so frustrating because we can’t even call ereceptionist because their phones are down to or go unanswered.
I am now looking for a more reliable service to switch over to before ereceptionists reliability issues brings my business down.

I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the service I have received from your call handling company. After spending over 30 minutes on your phone system waiting to speak to a representative in both departments, I have been left with no other option but to resort to email communication, which I suspect may also be disregarded.
For a company that prides itself on providing exceptional call answering services, it is incredibly ironic and disappointing that you are unable to answer your own telephone in a timely manner. This not only reflects poorly on your company's efficiency and reliability but also severely undermines the trust that your clients place in your services.
The lack of responsiveness and the excessive waiting times are absolutely unacceptable. As a paying customer, I expect a certain level of professionalism and efficiency, both of which have been sorely lacking in this experience. It is disgraceful that I had to endure such an ordeal just to get in touch with your team.

Do not use! Scam! They continue to charge and won’t cancel the payments! Been going on for month! 12 months ago I asked them to cancel my account! You can’t get out!! Do not use

"Don't bother"
Used ereceptionist for years. They were very good. However, over the last few months they have unfortunately turned from 5 star to 0 star.
I moved one number away and asked them to change the other number to pay as you go. They successfully (thank god) ported the original number a few months ago.
For the remaining number, they charged me for 1 month (pay as you go charge) and then cancelled it without my authorisation. I got a couple of days use out of it. Now am trying to call them, and lo and behold I am the next caller in the queue for the last 20mins.
I have a feeling they have a big issue with staffing and the tech. If nobody answers then I will have to cut my losses.

I have tried over and over to cancel the service. If you've lost your account details they make it impossible. They keep trying to DD me even though they know I've tried to cancel

This company has scammed me
Worst app I have ever used. All of a sudden I could no longer log into my app and I contacted costumer support have not received any help and now they have not replied to my emails for months about me wanting to cancel. They are still charging me £20 a month and I haven’t used to service for 7+ months.

1 star is a massive stretch. Terrible service... lines were down for 3 months and was never informed whilst still receiving and paying invoices of course. This service is highly unreliable! I'd run a mile if you anticipate using this system to run a business. Awful!
