"The best care for your pet and you"

I found Dignity via Facebook and we decided to use them for our old boy when he had to be pts. From the initial communication via telephone I could tell that the people who are employed here really cared about doing the best for you and your pet. We brought our boy straight from the vets and were helped get him out of the car and onto a trolley,he was then taken into a room where we could say our final goodbyes. We were not rushed and were told that when we were ready to just go,we didn’t need to find anyone as they would monitor the camera to see when we had left. We were able to leave his favourite toy with him which would be cremated with him. We chose his casket from a very wide range and the prices were very reasonable. We were able to collect him the next day in the casket we selected for him. They also offered a clipping of his hair and a paw print if we wanted it. Losing a pet is heart breaking at the best of times but the people at Dignity make this time a bit more bareable and show nothing but compassion towards you and care and respect for your family pet. I can not recommend this crematorium highly enough and any future pets will be taken to them for the same care attention that our pet and we,received that day.

Had the sad need for their services last week. They did everything they promised and I felt at all times my pet had been treated in death with the same love as in life that I had given him.

Very informative and kind. Rooms where you go into with your pet, options explained and I was very pleased with the border collie casket my pet was returned in. Professional but human as well. True pet lovers.

I have both used the services of Dignity Pet Crem and had an opportunity to see what goes on behind the scenes. They provided an exceptionally caring and professional service when we lost our little ‘Pepsi’. I couldn’t bear the idea of her being buried in the cold ground and had heard of Dignity Pet Crem through a friend. Her ashes now reside in a little brass heart shaped paperweight on my desk, and it is comforting to have her so close by still.
Working in the funeral service for some time years ago I know just how important it is to be 100% professional as well as empathising with the families that entrust their loved ones to you.
Having witnessed behind the scenes at Dignity in several totally unrelated visits I can honestly say that every care is taken to the same exceptionally high standards that we strove to maintain in the human equivalent services.
There are a lot of staff on site at Dignity working hard to provide a quick efficient return of the beloved pets ashes, whether they are going home again or being buried or scattered in their peaceful garden of remembrance or woodland walk. I visited the garden recently and was emotionally touched by the sight of so many plaques and markers that commemorate the love between animals and humans.
I was interested to read how and why this family business started about 25 years ago. It was because the current owner’s parents could not bear the idea of people’s beloved pets being “processed” by waste companies via vetinary surgeries. An individual cremation guarantees dignity for the pet’s final journey, together with peace of mind for their grieving owner. I really felt that the staff cared about me and my pet when her time came and I know they take their responsibilities very seriously behind the scenes. It’s all a matter of trust and Dignity Pet Crem are certainly people to entrust your furry friend to when the time comes, whether they be hampsters or horses!
I pray it’s many, many years before I need to use their services again, but take comfort that they are only 15 miles away when the time comes.

After our cat passed recently we contacted Dignity who were very helpful and thorough about what could and would happen.

We visited on the same day by appointment and had all the time we need to look around and feel comfortable and sort what we needed to sort.
