"Service with care"

We have just collected our dog Storm’s ashes today from Dignity. I can’t recommend this whole team highly enough. The pride they take in their valuable work is evident and the compassion shown - from collecting our beloved dog from us, to today when we brought her back home has been hugely comforting. Thank you so much x

"Dignified Pet Crematorium "

Would highly recommend this company, I found the staff helpful, and very sympathetic, the customer service staff explained exactly what would happen to your pet, from collection of your dog from your home to the collection of Ashes.

"A fitting dignified send-off"

I’d just like to say how much I appreciate Dignity and the work they do for families all over. It’s never easy saying goodbye to a pet, whether their passing has happened naturally or you’ve had to make the choice that no owner wants.
I’ve heard about communal cremation and to be quite honest, the very thought of it alone drives my anxiety through the roof and I’d also go so far as to say just the existence of it infuriates me. However I do understand that some people may not be able to afford an individual cremation, so communal is the only other way for them. This is why, even in the midst of the pandemic, March 2021, when I said goodbye to my beloved Sox, I was fortunate enough to cuddle him while he drifted into his forever sleep. I was even more fortunate to have the opportunity to use Dignity’s services, because I hated the idea of Sox being taken away and cremated like he was some piece of discarded rubbish, I wanted him to come home, however much it cost. The staff I dealt with when arranging the individual cremation and collection of ashes, were just absolutely superb beyond any words. I was provided with the assurance that Sox would be very well looked after and indeed he was. He was of great comfort to me, along with my other cats, during a very horrible and dark personal time regarding my mental health a few years ago. People say cats can sense your mood and emotions and I truly believe that. Sox always liked being in my room with me or wherever I went for cuddles and now it’s thanks to Dignity and the services they offer, he’ll always be by my side, where he belongs. My family was shown equally amazing services during the cremation of our oldest cat Diddy, who passed away in May 2022. I feel sure I’ll use Dignity again in the future, but hopefully not too soon!
Once again, a huge thank you to all at Dignity so very much for the kind and thoughtful words of comfort provided when making arrangements.

I would without a doubt recommend Dignity, if you prefer to have your beloved friend come home.

"Absolutely wonderful people who go out of their way to make an upsetting time as comfortable as possible"

This was sadly our third experience of using Dignity’s services and since discovering them I couldn’t recommend any crematorium more highly for a gentle, dignified and understanding experience.

Dignity have always been absolutely lovely whenever we have needed them. Their customer care line strive to help as quickly as possible and are kind and patient.

Although we experienced some logistical issues getting to the crematorium today (absolutely not the fault of dignity), Dignity once again went above and beyond to accommodate us despite running a little late and having no luck with organising a taxi from the train station (as most were fully booked and others wouldn’t accept the dogs we had brought with us).

Despite short notice, Dignity organised for two vehicles to come and collect us (5 people and 2 dogs).

As always, our little Nika’s attended service was absolutely beautiful. We were allowed to spend time with her alone in one of the farewell rooms to say our goodbyes and were gently asked for us wishes as to urns and keepsakes.

We were then able to carry Nika ourselves toward the beautiful brick kiln and to place her onto the tray to be put inside. She kept her little bed, favourite bone, collar and silk pillowcase with her throughout. My other two dogs were also there the whole time and were welcomed to sniff her and also be there for the service. We were asked if we wanted a prayer to be said for Nika after the door closed and it was beautiful.

Unfortunately, since Nika’s passing our dogs’ behaviour has slipped slightly, but today they decided to excel themselves by making some noise (we are very very sorry for this). Dignity were very understanding about this and at no point did we feel judged or as though the staff were irritated as all remained professional and kind throughout.

Thankfully they were able to expel some of that energy by sniffing and exploring Dignity’s wonderful remembrance garden and woodland area while I read some of the plaques for much loved pets who had gone before. It was very touching to see that there is an area in the woodland where humans may have their ashes interred with their pets together if they wish.

Unfortunately the weather took a turn for the worse and as we were still unable to get a taxi, Dignity staff allowed us inside into a waiting area to to avoid the downpour outside.

By now our little Nika’s cremation was complete and she was ready to be placed in her urn. As the staff knew we were waiting, they prioritised Nika being placed into her urn next so that the two wonderful ladies who had collected us would also be able to drop us back at the station as their shifts had just finished.

The kindness of Dignity staff knows no bounds and it really does bring such great comfort to know we have trusted such empathetic and understanding people with our little dog’s last journey.

I must also mention Graham - who although was not present at Nika’s cremation today, we had met at a previous service for another of our dogs. This time, Graham’s part in Nika’s sendoff was to collect her body from our home in London after she had passed away.

Graham was gentle, patient and understanding in his collection of Nika and at no point did it feel rushed. He allowed me time to take photos of her before he placed her into the hearse and as my children were at school I asked if I could video him driving away with her to show to them. He assured me that this was fine and drove away down the road very slowly and sombrely which felt very dignified. On such a difficult day such kindness and compassion, even before Nika’s service had been booked, really meant a lot.

We really can’t thank Dignity enough for the work they do. It will always be an upsetting experience to require Dignity’s services. However, with my whole heart I can honestly say that the staff at Dignity all do absolutely everything they can to make the day as comfortable, gentle, and dignified for both families, and our beloved pets, as they possibly can.

Unfortunately I was too upset so I didn’t get the names of the 2 ladies who looked after me today in Odiham. I just wanted to say thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart to your wonderful team who looked after me and my Rosie today. The kindness, compassion and empathy showed by your team gave me heart knowing she had the best send off. Please pass on my thanks to these incredible ladies. They gave me the time and the service I needed and I hope this reaches them ❤️

"10 stars! "

As much as no one wants to have to use a company such as Dignity, they really do go above and beyond at any animal owners time in need. Losing any animal is such an upsetting time and having used Dignity personally for my own animals for many years and also having had to use them on the odd occasion for our rescue dogs, I can honestly say that the whole team are exceptional. The owner Kevin has helped us as a rescue no end. We’ve had to sadly use them in real emergencies for a couple of our rescues and he has even stayed open to accept one of our dogs. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the whole team and they show such compassion. They do offer some beautiful memorials and other keepsakes but you don’t have to opt for anything you don’t want but it’s nice to have the option. Also when upset you cannot always think straight so I like the fact they go through various options so you can make an informative decision on what you want for your pet. I cannot thank Kevin and his team for his continued support to me personally and us as a rescue. I always recommend them to any animal owner who has just lost their pet. Thanks guys

"Had my dog put to sleep and opted to…"

Had my dog put to sleep and opted to have him cremated, Dignity collected him and took him to Hook centre, got a phone call and wanted to discuss a plan on their site it stated £225 this became £250ish with extras being pushed like paw prints and nose prints they even charged £45 to transport him from vets to put him in a van with many other animals.
They have no compassion or thoughts for people other loved pets and I would recommend nobody to use this company, we have used a company in Cambridgeshire they do not charge for picking your pets up and are far more sympathetic.

After posting my review this company decided to cry about my honest experience, I am the Breader of the dog in question and received the phone call asking for a person who died some 25 years ago I asked what it was about and was told they needed to arrange a funeral plan for the pet concerned, The pet was put to sleep at the vets and the vet contacted Dignity to collect and cremate the dog, we wanted a simple cremation as the dogs ashes are going to be put into the ground with his mother, I directed the call to the owner of the dog who was very upset as she had just lost her dog of 14 1/2 years and was very upset at the whole thing, apart from the cremation we required nothing more from this company as options were being put to her regarding nose prints, paw prints and other services that this company wanted to offer of course at a fee for each, I am more than willing to go into further details once the dog has been cremated and the ashes returned to us as I do not trust this company one bit and I will be speaking too my vet about the experience I have had with this cowboy outfit.

"Oswald Stapleton …"

Thank you Emma and Ryan for looking after our boy, from a decision that had to be made quickly to Oswald being in the care of dignity, Emma made a day as a family that was our hardest just that little bit easier knowing Oswald was being taken care of by someone who knew him and knew him for his boisterous and wild child days. We were kept up to date from when they collected him to when he arrived. Oswald was in the best hands with Emma and Ryan to make his final journey to the rainbow bridge. We will forever be grateful to you both. Collection went well, we were greeted on arrival and taken into a collection room, very peaceful and respectful place. Oswald came home with everything we had asked for plus a candle and forget me not seeds.
Thank you again Emma you have no idea how much your kindness means to us.
