"I had a pair of Dubarry boots for 10…..."

I had a pair of Dubarry boots for 10 years (2003-2013) and they were great. My husband saved up to buy me a new pair for my birthday as I missed having such a great pair of boots. However, this is their second winter and they leak. I'm really disappointed because they were a big expense and I trusted that I would get another pair of boots to warrant the expense. I have looked this up and they now make the boots in Portugal as it's cheaper for the company, they are simply trading off their name nowadays and are obviously not interested in maintaining the heritage of quality. I feel completely gutted and really guilty that my husband spent so much money on a pair of boots, thinkin they were a worthy investment that would last more than 1 winter. I do not recommend buying these boots at all unless throwing money away is no problem for you. I can imagine this will get a relatively auto generated reply (if anything) suggesting I haven't looked after them properly but I most definitely have: my last pair lasted 10 years being fully waterproof. I used them for longer but not in the rain. This pair are not within the year warranty now so there is nothing I can do except let others know that they are not the quality boots they once were, just expensive boots akin to a fashion statement.

Had my first pair of Wexford boots for 18 or 19 years, until they started leaking and the soles started splitting. Dealt with Dubarry customer services (Debbie and Donna) who were extremely helpful to discuss whether they could be repaired or not! Finally I decided to go for new Dubarry boots, despite the high price, I believe they are well worth it for comfort (dogwalking every day use for me) and longevity beyond belief. So great product, so long lasting, and really lovely helpful customer service promptly delivered by email.

I ordered the wrong boots by mistake and received excellent customer service when arranging an exchange. I'd happily buy more from Dubarry in the future.

"Will certainly order again..."

Very nice sweater, good quality. Very good help from the service desk when the delivery man did not bring the parcel at our door. Good communication about an article that was out of stock and immediate refund of my payment. Will certainly order again.

"Excellent customer service..."

Excellent customer service. I love my Dubarry boots; they are comfortable, hardwearing and and stylish. I use them mainly when out walking my border collie. However, after almost a year, one of them started letting in water. When I contacted the firm, they asked me to upload photos and return them to the shop where I bought them. The boots were replaced!

"Michelle’s boots..."

Black Friday, Black Friday, that’s all we seem to hear about at the moment.
Yes - so at times one can get a very good price on expensive and inexpensive items.
But that’s all very well and good but I’m not able to go out and pick my money off the nearest tree- I’ve worked hard and saved, so to me I want to buy what I want - need and possibly not need, from a company that talks to me like I am an important customer and be spoken to by someone who recognises my voice on the phone and that person is Amber Broadwood from Dubarry. She has got the real personal touch as I have said before Amber is a joy and laugh to talk to so again Dubarry in Chipping Norton a few pounds more than this Black Friday is certainly worth it to get an extremely good service and know that I will be well looked after, so again Dubarry and Amber Broadwood many many thanks from Linda Sutherland

"Excellent customer service..."

I have bought from Dubarry many times and have never been disappointed. I purchased a new pair of boots a few weeks ago but sadly was disappointed with the quality and had some issues. I contacted customer service who requested photos and after some dialogue back and forth agreed to either refund me or issue another pair of boots of my choice on receipt of the ones I had. I decided to order another different pair/style and duly returned the boots I no longer wanted. I did choose to send via Royal Mail which was expensive but I wanted peace of mind they were insured. All dealt with promptly and my new boots arrived within a few days. I’ve worn them every day since as the weather has turned and I have to say I’m delighted. My confidence in Dubarry was shaken slightly I have to admit but a loyal customer once again. Excellent aftercare. Thank you to Donna in particular.

"Bad customer service..."

Bought a pair of Dubarry Galway Boots at the end of July for the impending winter, only worn a handful of times around town when getting them out of the box I noticed that the metal emblem on the outside of the calf was missing. Contacted Dubarry for a replacement emblem to be sent but they where unwilling send one and said that I must send them the boots for repair and as I hadn’t purchased directly from them I was to pay for the postage at a cost of £25 without any insurance should they go missing whilst in transit. If I was to put the value of the boots on the postage quote I would attract customs duty so was told to place the value at £0. Unwillingly to take this chance I have reluctantly decided that I will live with them as they are. Not the quality or service you would expect for a pair of boots that cost £329.

Fantastische service. Na anderhalf jaar waren mijn laarzen lek. Ik mocht ze opsturen. Daarna zijn ze getest en heb ik nieuwe mogen ontvangen. Super blij mee.
