"CAUTION!!"

CAUTION!!! I used this app because it's included with my insurance. However, I will never use it again. I saw a provider and was prescribed the wrong prescription, when I went to message the provider I found out that you're not able to. I contacted customer support and was told that "the doctor must contact you first" and I have to wait for the nurses to set up a dialogue with the Doctor. This is dangerous and unacceptable. I will never use this app and warn everyone not to use it.

"ZERO Customer Service Skills"

Impossible to get a refund when they screw up insurance claims. Zero customer skills, they talk down to you, do not accept responsibility, and definitely pull all the stops to keep from righting THEIR wrong. If you use this company because insurance throws you a bone vs going into the doc, save yourself the never ending headache.

"This is the worst Telehealth on the…"

This is the worst Telehealth on the market. I am diabetic and in desperate of my weekly injection. I did MDLive this morning and they sent me over a prescription but I am new to the insurance and did not know that my injection was not covered. I have had this situation before and all other Telehealth services will help you to get your med. They told me we will not switch it to a generic you get what you get go to urgent care. Like I said this is a Diabetic injection I need it if I was using for weight loss it would have been no problem to switch. Do not trust this site they are trying to kill people.

"Don't expect a refund anytime soon."

I initially intended to award a five-star rating until I encountered challenges with customer service. Although I am inclined to give a significantly lower rating, it is evident that the quality of medical care should not be marred by subpar customer service. During my appointment in February, MDLIVE erroneously billed the wrong insurance. Consequently, the claim was denied, and $108 was charged to my personal account. Upon reporting the error in March, I was informed that a refund would be processed within 45 days. However, I have yet to receive the refund, and each time I follow up, I am met with evasion and am required to repeat my account. Despite the assurance of escalation to a supervisor, I have not received the promised resolution. I assert that as the error was on the part of MDLIVE, I rightfully request the return of the $180.

"Doesn't work for me"

The communication with this company is awful. I have found it impossible to have an online appointment. I give up.

"Impossible to find a therapist and once…"

Impossible to find a therapist and once you do you still can't contact them for scheduling purposes, they can only contact you.
We had an appointment for a therapist and were cancelled on an hour before the appointment with no explanation.
My experience with their therapy in general has been very bad.

"The WORST experience I have ever had…"

The WORST experience I have ever had with talking to a doctor. I wasn’t able to express my concerns, he was talking over me, interrupting me. Told me that “I’m the doctor and you don’t know what you’re talking about.” One point was raising his voice to talk over me. I was in close contact (skin to skin) with someone who has possible ringworm (about 10-15 sores per arm). Started off the visit with saying I want to take the proper precaution of being exposed and think some antibiotics would be beneficial. Nope. I was told I’m wrong, IN QUOTE “stupid for reading the internet.” The best part was the summary of visit, the doctor put “told patient to report to primary care if symptoms get worse after 24-48 hours.” I don’t have symptoms and you never told me this? I was charged $20 for a 45 second “phone appointment.” I will NEVER use this again.

DOCTORS NAME IS BRIAN TOUPIN.

"Fantastic service, convenient "

I feel like the doctor was genuinely caring. I was not feeling well, sore throat. I told her I thought it was strep and she agreed. She had me send extra pictures in case it was an abscess, and then she followed up with a phone call later to reassure me that I'll be feeling much better very soon. I don't think I've received better bedside. Even better, the visit was free with my insurance, I didn't have to go anywhere, no sitting in a diseased prompt care waiting room, I got to lay under my covers with my dog/nurse for the day.

"I logged in at 2:40 for a 2:45…"

I logged in at 2:40p for a 2:45p appointment. While still waiting for the provider I get a call at 3:00p saying I missed my appointment. I selected the option to speak with customer service from the call. I informed her that I was still holding for the provider to come on the call. Her only option was to reschedule. Technically, I'm still in my appointment window so why don't you get the doctor on the call? I asked for a refund and she said it will take 45 days to refund it but I will have to call back tomorrow to initiate the process. I read all the bad reviews but decided to give them a try because it was convenient. Trusting in MDLIVE was a big inconvenience! One of those scams where it's easy to get in and hard to get out. You can't delete your account if you want, only disable it. No need to have my account hanging around if I'm not going to use it. Don't sign up, believe the reviews, don't waist your time and your money.

"It could have been very bad"

i had a consult for red eye thinking that my antibiotics was causing the red eye. they diagnosed me with pink eye which might be allergy or bacterial or viral and to just take an antihistamine in case it was allergy. i asked if it was safe to take my antibiotics still and was told it’s ok. a few minutes after taking the antibiotics, i developed rashes and difficulty swallowing and had to go to the ER for treatment of anaphylaxis. i felt like the doctor was in a hurry and was dismissive of symptoms.
