"My experience has been terrible so far"
My experience has been terrible so far, and I haven't even seen a doctor yet. All I wanted was a simple annual checkup. I was connected to MDLIVE through Cigna, where I scheduled a lab test at LabCorp and a virtual doctor visit through their website. However, when I arrived for my lab test, LabCorp informed me they didn't have the order. When I contacted MDLIVE, they claimed they couldn't see my appointment, even though it was visible on my screen. The system feels completely broken, as if I'm part of their alpha testing. Honestly, they should be paying customers for enduring this process. After expressing my frustration, the agent told me she needed to place an order through Quest and would get back to me the next day. I’ve never even heard of Quest or MDLIVE before, and frankly, I don’t care about how these companies interact. Shouldn't they test their systems thoroughly before going live? This is a complete waste of customers' time.

"Once you start, there's no backing out. You will be charged."
Their website promises that you won't be charged without receiving an appointment confirmation, but that is exactly what MD Live did to me. I started filling in my information but had trouble putting in my current prescription (which was already treating the condition I was inquiring about) so I backed out. I never received any confirmation that the information I had managed to put in would still be reviewed by a doctor. Two days later I get a text AND email that my treatment plan was ready- but I'd not finished putting in my information and I hadn't submitted anything. I never got any sort of confirmation or communication about anything from MD Live before they charged my credit card. I emailed and called them and submitted a BBB complaint. Nothing so far.

"MDLIVE is total garbage"
MDLIVE is total garbage. They had my insurance information, but failed to bill my insurance and instead charged the entire visit to my credit card, which they conveniently kept on file and made me agree to being charged the full charge in case my insurance did not cover it (ie too lazy to file themselves). I have spent the last 6 months getting a portion of the charge to my credit card rightfully reimbursed, but they have not been able to provide the bill with the itemized ICD10/CPT codes that my insurance needs to process the claim. The whole experience has been horrendous. Worse yet, the tech is awful and unreliable. They have various websites that all contain different details about your visit history and no matter which website you use, it is difficult to navigate and you literally need to call customer service to get help to find the information you need. Please do not use this service and get yourself tangled up in this ridiculous mess. They will not hesitate to charge your credit card thousands of dollars without even attempting to file with your insurance and it will be really difficult for you to get properly reimbursed because they will be zero help in giving you the paperwork to send to your insurance.

"Wasted $40 don’t bother"
Paid $40 for a telehealth visit and uploaded images for review prior to visit. No visit, provided medications based on pictures no actual contact with Doctor, ridiculous!!

"Unprofessional doctor"
I had a scheduled phone appointment at 1935. I waited for the call, since the provider was calling me - not the other way around. I was scheduled to see B Dr. Charles Kim. He called at 1934 and it didn’t even register that it rang - that’s how long he waited. I waited all day for this appointment and then he writes that I no showed! Are you serious?!?!
I called MD Live’s customer service and they managed to get another provider to call me within 30 minutes. That provider was great. The only reason this site/app gets a 3 star is because of the doctor that helped me. If you are able to pick your provider please don’t make the mistake of choosing Dr. Charles Kim.

"MDLIVE is a joke"
MDLIVE is a joke. The app is buggy and there are constant issues with billing. The worst experience I've ever had with a company after THEIR incorrect billing issue. I've called no less than 8 times over the course of a week and there IS NO SUPERVISOR TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE, even when Cigna called to tell them what they are showing is wrong and disagrees with the explanation of benefits. MDLIVE states you cannot be transferred to a supervisor, they will escalate the issue and call back in 24-48 hours. How do you not have a supervisor on hand???? I've received no call back and now cannot schedule an appointment with a doctor, despite conflicting information.

"This company is a scam"
This company is a scam. Legit a legal scam. If you are sick or anything like that DO NOT use these people for help. The only thing they will do is refer you to an actual doctor. I think that’s this is mainly for therapy and mental health. I spent $30 just for some sketchy doctor to call me for 5 mins and tell me that I need to see a in person doctor. Would not listen to my basic symptoms.

"“Tonsils not swollen” I DONT HAVE TONSILS"
Spent 30 minutes explaining symptoms in extensive questionnaire and sending pictures. Clear strep. Was denied the proper diagnosis, and told it was only laryngitis due to “tonsils not being swollen” EVEN THOUGH IVE HAD THEM REMOVED and answered no to losing my voice. I know when I have strep. Not to mention I was advised I would receive an update with in the hour, but had to call back two hours later to be told my case had been renewed.

"Don't waste your money on MDlive"
Don't waste your money on MDlive. Scheduled an consultation, the doc showed up in shaky video, his face is like a hologram effect. It is the strangest video call I have been. Very unprofessional. He cannot do anything and only said, you have to see a doctor in person. My stomach acid improved with over the counter medicine without me seeing a doctor. and of course, they would not refund your money.
