"Scam! Don’t bother with this site"

After using this service for a sinus infection and getting absolutely no service, I’ve decided to turn my complaint over to the AG of my state.
This is the second time I’ve used this service. The first time was great. The Dr I spoke to today was awful. He told me I needed to have been febrile for TEN days in order to prescribe me antibiotics for my sinusitis.
TEN days????? Most ridiculous thing I have ever heard! This telemedicine site is a scam and needs investigating. I plan on contacting the Medical board as well. Keep your Drs information when you get your summary and you may want to do the same thing.

"The Best Mental Health "

This is the best place for mental health care! I had a nightmarish experience with Talkiatry, I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. I didn't have to wait months for an appt, or get canceled 4 times due to my age. I got an appt right away, I like my doctor. I had a problem with a prescription at the pharmacy. I called MDlive, they were polite, caring and took care of it ASAP! I'm so happy. 5 Stars!

"The worst "

The worst
Useless service
I will never use again and will definetly advice everyone I know not to
Physician confirmed diagnosis I told him I already knew I had and told me to see a local physician inside of calling in medication or treating condition.
Terrible customer service very rude
Promised call back from supervisor and they never called back
Entire department reachable by email only no one to speak to and nasty replies in email as well.

"Customer service is nasty"

Customer service was so rude today. I'm kind of shocked. I'm so nice to customer service people because it's a hard job, and people take their aggression out on them. I have never had a call center employee be so nasty to ME for bothering her to do a task she "doesn't like to do." I can't believe BCBS partners with them at all.

"The service with MDlive was horrible"

The service with MDlive was horrible. I paid $63 for a visit on Monday 4/1/24. I received a call back at 2:40pm. I explained my symptoms. Im having flu like symptoms with redness in my left eye, pain in my left throat and left ear. Congestion in my nose and coughing. I was told to discontinue any over the counter medicine. I have a viral infection. I was told to get Afrin and was prescribed benzonatate 200MG 3 times a day for the cough. I ask the doctor will these 2 meds will relieve all the issues I was having. I was told yes. I also ask if I would need any antibiotics. I was told no that antibiotics are not used for a viral infection. About 1 hr later I started the treatment plan. I was in a lot of pain in my throat and ear and keep coughing I just unable to sleep. On 4/2/24 I called back at 10:28pm I called MDLive again to let them know the meds was not working and I was in a lot of pain. I was told I needed to pay another $63 to speak to another doctor. I asked why if it’s the same symptoms that were not treated properly on my first call. I was told it like going to the emergency if you have to go back for the same issue you will be billed twice. I told her I’m not paying twice. On 4/3/24 I called MDlive at 3:56pm and requested a supervisor call back. At 4:39pm I received a call back for a supervisor and she told me I had Covid. I asked her how did she know I had Covid and then she said sorry that’s not my information it’s another Patient. She then advised someone will call me back. I never received a call back. I called back at 5:44pm and was told a new request for a supervisor call back was submitted. I did not receive a call back at 7:57pm I called back and was transferred to the supervisor extension no answer so I left a voicemail message. Now it’s 10PM and I’m yet to receive a call back. I’m in a lot of pain and I'm not getting any help. In my opinion there’s no care for the patient. MDLive wants me to pay multiple times to resolve the same issue. Which I don’t believe is fair. The reps that take the scheduling request for an appointment are helpful but there’s a disconnect with their overall service.

"Horrible experience "

Horrible experience trying to get a refill on my blood pressure meds. Susan Diamond was the MD who saw me after I told her I been running out of my blood pressure meds almost two weeks I have taken the meds in the last few days, but she canceled my meds saying it’s considered a restart. Inconsiderate people not concerned I need my meds for blood pressure more so worrying about their rules. I hate the service and they are not kind people.

"Awful Experience!"

I would not recommend MDLive for their counseling services. My daughter felt she needed some anxiety support to deal with some college stress so we set up an appointment with MDLive since our BC/BS policy recommended it. On her first appointment with her therapist, the therapist never showed up. It was later discovered that her therapist thought the appointment was at 11am (my daughter's appointment was at 11:30). The therapist never realized her error and berated my daughter for not showing up on time via the messaging app and then closed it out so we couldn't reply. My daughter was already upset from her anxiety so this experience just added to it.

We rescheduled with another therapist and that went smoothly, but the therapist had the flu and my daughter said that there was several times that the line went quiet when the therapist should have responded. My daughter got the impression she was muting her line so she could cough.

At her third appointment with this second therapist, the therapist canceled her appointment 10 mins after it was supposed to start. No reason given, she just got an automated text message saying it was cancelled.

Will not use again and will not recommend it.

"Absolutely horrible care & general set…"

Absolutely horrible care & general set up service. The phycatrist are more like bullies than actually being trained to help and the service overall is just out to take advantage of people to make a quick buck. If their system lags on login making you even a minute late to an appointment, they'll have you charged as a no show before your appointment is even scheduled to be 5 minutes in!
If there are ANY technical problems, there is no leniency. They don't care to try to call or give any buffer, they just flag you as no show after a couple minutes to make their money & move on.

"Don’t call for ear pain"

I had an ear infection and called to hopefully get an antibiotic to tide me over until I could find a specialist. I paid $63 to be told I can’t be given a prescription without seeing the ear. Why allow a call in then. My conversation lasted 3 minutes

"Much better ones out there."

I called, gave them my insurance information and was told someone would be calling me soon.
I told the doc I've had a sore throat for over a week. All I heard after that was I'm not going to help you, because you need an X-ray.
X-ray? Just think about it, if everyone that got a sore throat was told to go to the ER, there making a lot of money.
They got paid the full price for talking
To me for 1.5 minutes.
If your looking for a phone appt, stay away from these guys.
