"If I could give zero stars, I would."
Worst experience I've had with a doctor. I was told by my GP that it would be a week to get an appointment with them so I scheduled a video call with MDlive's urgent care. I've had a headache for 6 days so she told me that she would give me a referral to see a neurologist. When the referral didn't come through, I called customer service and they said that the urgent care doctor wasn't authorized to provide a referral and that I'd need to schedule an appointment with their GP which would be a 5 day wait and I'd have to pay again. They should tell you up front that their urgent care doctors can't give referrals. Seems like a big money grab with horrible customer service and patient care to me. Don't waste your time.

"Misleading Advertising and Unethical Billing Practices"
When I initially used MDLive's services to connect with a therapist, the price listed was $0, indicating no cost for the therapy sessions. Based on this information, I proceeded with multiple therapy visits.
To my dismay, MDLive subsequently charged me for these therapy visits, leaving me with an unexpected balance. Upon contacting their customer service to address this issue, MDLive altered their website portal to reflect that therapy visits would cost $30 each in addition to what they collect from Cigna. This change conveniently appeared only after I had raised my concerns.
It is important to note that MDLive has already been compensated by my insurance provider for these services. Despite this, they falsely advertised a price with no copay and are now attempting to charge me an additional $60 for the virtual visits. This practice is misleading and unethical, causing unnecessary financial stress and undermining trust in their services.

"This company stole my money… when you…"
This company stole my money… when you do an appt with me live, it requires you to give your debit card information along with your insurance information… the company doesn’t even attempt to bill your insurance they just take your cash out of your debit account. It’s a huge scam, and if you go look at the BBB, it happens to everybody who uses MD live.

"What a waste of time and money"
What a waste of time and money. They can't prescribe anything. They tell you to go to the ER for any lab work. The doctor answered all questions with a very arrogant attitude to boot. Save yourself the hassle and go see a real doctor, not these charlatans. They're less than worthless when you need help.

"Useless told me to see my pcp "
I needed antibiotics. I’ve already been on steroids for two weeks taking Sudafed for a week and a half. She said that they cannot diagnose your problems. My ears have been hurting and popping then why did you accept my $15 It was one of the questions do you have ear pain?

"Everything went wrong"
Everything went wrong. Said we still had a balance when there was none. Threatened my wife with collections. I verified with our insurance company all payments were made, the called MD Live back and they said the very next day we have a zero balance. Their billing staff is pure idiocy.
Oh, and the doctor was the worst online MD we’ve seen. Cold, callous, and would not provide my wife with a non-narcotic prescription that had worked previously. Useless.
If I could give negative stars, I would.

"Awful pediatrician "
The pediatrician did not to word that I said and refused my child antibiotics. She told me to do everything that I had already been doing for two weeks and I told her that my child was getting sicker and not better. She said I know it’s frustrating but continue doing the same thing. She wrote down in her chart that she had a sinus infection but didn’t give her anything. Anytime I’ve had a sinus infection I’ve been given antibiotics. Now I have to wait 24-48 hours for a supervisor to call me back and 24 hours to make another appointment. I’m so disappointed in this service.

"Wrong cpt core"
I sought out treatment for my fluctuating ear disorder and sensorineural hearing loss and the doctor coded it as TMJ even though I didn't see the doctor for my jaw, so my insurance didn't cover it. There's literally no way to get a hold of the doctor again to change the diagnostic code or really anyone at MD Live that can help.

"My daughter was diagnosed with type A…"
My daughter was diagnosed with type A flu 2 days ago. I started having the same symptoms had a call and asked if they could prescribe Tamiflu. They said no. Not once in the past 2 years have I called them and they actually prescribe something. I don’t know if they are under strict regulations or are just incompetent but not wasting time or money anymore

"Terrible Billing and Customer Support"
I have been using MDLIVE for over one year and been very happy with the Therapist. But I will no longer be using the service due to their very questionable billing and customer support. With each therapy appointment, I am billed random amounts varying from $35 to $108 per visit, despite having the same insurance throughout. I have spoken with customer support on four occasions and have yet to understand the cause of the ongoing problem. They have asked me to "Ignore" the transaction details on their website until I see the charge on my credit card. After the charge is observed, I can call customer support and request a refund that takes 45 days to process. No thanks, I'm done.
