"It’s very glitchy and it took me 30…"

It’s very glitchy and it took me 30 minutes just for the site to register my information in order to set up an appointment. Then when I finally spoke to a doctor, the only thing that was recommended was for me to go to the ER. I can’t afford that. And it cost me $82 just to be told to go to the ER. I’m pissed. I could have just used google for that information.

"I had a scheduled video call with Dr"

I had a scheduled video call with Dr. Laura Wade at 11am. By the time I had logged in to join the meeting she had cancelled it at 11:02 am!!! I guess as a doctor she really care at all about her patients.

I called customer service and was informed that she is not supposed to do that until 10 minutes have passed.

My call would have taken 10 minutes of her time tops, a simple request for a prescription refill. 1-star to the app for not disallowing doctor’s to cancel within 10 minutes. 1-star to the doctor for obvious reasons… what a waste of my time… will never use this service again.

"Absolutely the worst"

Absolutely the worst. I had my appointment on a Sunday was prescribed with anxiety medicine. It is now Tuesday and I still don’t have my prescription. No one is helping me. It’s a really bad look on their part. Alls they say is a supervisor will call me back and it never happens. I am not sure how a program like this works when you can’t even get your meds. What a freaking joke!

"Warning! If no service is provided they steal your money "

I pay a lot for Cigna! Even though the options for the treatment that I chose on your website are available provider Cherisa Sandrow decided to not provide me any treatment after I submitted payment. Money was taken from my bank account and absolutely NO treatment was provided to me today. Cherisa Sandrow decided told me to go to urgent care and that my money would not be reimbursed. Basically you stole my money, provided no treatment and gave me nothing but a hard time when I’m sick and needed care. This is not how people should be treated! If no treatment was provided then just give people their money back

"Dr Reed"

Dr. Reed was horrible. She came into the appointment with a bad attitude. Didn't listen to my medical history. Gave terrible advice that made my condition worse after refusing to give me the medicine I knew would fix. 2 days ago I visited an urgent care facility and was perscribed the medicine I was requesting the previous week from Dr Reed that she refused. I am now already better just 2 days after a much better doctor at a urgent care facility treated me with the understanding that I know my body and what eliminates a sickness that I have dealt with for 30 years. I will never use mdlive again and I would recommend everyone stay away

"This was a horrible experience"

This was a horrible experience. First and foremost screening questions are geared toward doctors giving you a specific diagnosis which they won't deviate. They don't ask detail questions from patients to assist them with diagnosis. It's clear they read from a computer prompt. The initial call I made with one Dr., I accepted their rational. After their suggestion didn't work and I spent $ on the call and medicine, I called them back to give additional input about my body and how the previous support didn't that work and I was totally disregarded and disrespected.
The 2nd Doctor over talked me, would not answer my questions,
told me to go to urgent care, and told me to request a refund and then hung up the phone while I was speaking.
Well when I requested a refund they said that my conversation was under review.
Horrible.

"The system is dysfunctional"

I had two sessions with one of their providers and was trying to access the third session. First, the provider cancelled the appointment, but she did reach out to me prior to the appointment to reschedule, so I appreciated that. We rescheduled and when I tried to access the rescheduled appointment, I couldn't log in despite the fact that I had been fully registered in their system for almost 5 months and had already attended two appointments with my provider.

The error message I got was that my account wasn't active. When I called their customer service, they said my registration was pending. I was even able to get logged in by resetting my password, but only once. So I know I was registered. Then if I tried to log in again, it would give me the same error message. I could only log in by resetting my password. Their agents told me to call my insurance provider because they would know what to do. I called them and they said the problem was not at their end of the line.

So I called the MDLive help line and the agent said there's nothing they can do except possibly create a new account for me and merge it with the old account.

Which leads me to the other problem. After the provider canceled the previous appointment and rescheduled it, I when I wasn't able to log in for the rescheduled appointment I was told the provider would call me. I waited 35 minutes and finally gave up waiting and called MDLive help line again. They told me the appointment was cancelled because the provider never showed up. At first I thought she had flaked out on me because the people at MDLive said she did. But she sent me a message in the MDLive platform and she said she was there and pressed the button to start the session and nothing happened until several minutes later the system said the appointment was canceled.

The two stars are for the fact that I like being able to access care remotely rather than having go to the appointments in person. So they get two stars for that.

"Took my money and refused to see me."

After taking over a quarter it a thousand dollars from me just for my first session, the "doctor" decided a few minutes in a was too much effort and ended the session. No refund offered. How is this legal?

"Customer Service Won't Answer Emails"

Imagine a patient of yours trying to solve a medication problem, and customer service refuses to answer his emails. When he calls to get help with the medication he has been prescribed by one of your providers, he is told there is nothing they can do. This has caused a serious problem resulting in self-medication because MD Live refuses to get a message to the provider, to set an interim appointment before the next regular appointment, or to help in any way. He must have contact with the provider for a medication adjustment. If MD Live cannot handle this core task, it is hard to imagine why it is in business.

"The Google Chrome browser isn’t…"

The Google Chrome browser isn’t supported for video calls so if you spend $290 for an appointment and then miss it because “this browser isn’t supported” when you try to log in ahead of time, it’ll be another $50 rescheduling fee. Kick rocks, I’ll go somewhere else.
