"Spoke to a doctor for less than a…"

Spoke to a doctor for less than a minute, told them I had a severe sinus infection.she asked do you have allergies, I said no I get sinus infections and need help to over come them, I'm usually prescribed a steriod nasal spray and she called in a prescription for over the counter allergy medicine. I paid $48 for Zyrtec.

"Bad phone doctor visit "

I had phone visit with doctor Jimmy Jaimy Honig. I had heavy flu and she only gave me regular medicine to take. She seems didn’t care with the patient situation. I suggest not to pick her for a visit next time.

"Very unprofessional staff and they will…"

Very unprofessional staff and they will charge you and your insurance if you don’t pay attention.
Used them only a couple of times and when I realized that they were charging my account and my insurance I called them. Of course someone from Bangladesh or India is going to answer and lecture you about their no nonsense theft.
Don’t bather to use them. Not helpful. They’ll tell you to go to the doctor and still charge you.
I am so sad that American has come to this point that anyone can scam you.

"MD Live- Terrible Experience"

I had a telehealth appointment with Onyinye Ugboaja today through MDLive.
It was my first time using the service and probably my last.
Even though all info was input into the MDLive online portal, Onyinye Ugboaja made me repeat everything.
Onyinye Ugboaja was aggressive, rude and extremely condescending.
She did not listen to me at all
She even had the audacity to state that my doctor didn't write my PRN medication script correctly.
The kicker is that she submitted notes that she educated me on my condition and recommended a particular diet. She never discussed any of those things with me.
In fact, because she was not pleased with the way my doctor wrote my script, we disconnected the call. She did not do a refill.
I contacted MDLive Support immediately after the call. The rep who answered told me that the doctor completed the visit. I asked the rep to look to see if the refill was done. Once she checked, she saw that no refill was done. I asked for a refund or to be scheduled to see another provider.
The rep told me that she would escalate to MD Live's clinical team and transferred me to a supervisor.
No one ever picked up. I was told to leave a message.
I called MD Live three times. On the second call I was again transferred with no pick up. On the third call, I was told by a representative that the first representative never escalated to the Clinical team as she told me she would.
What a scam MDLive appears to be.

"Know what is covered for sure before you start "

I was using MDLive for my mental health. It was already a big step to take and to finally find a therapist that was just perfect was amazing. After almost a year of using it, I got an email for the first time stating I had an outstanding balance. I had received no other notification from them or my insurance stating this. The balance was for $515.00! The providers I was using were not covered by my insurance. They took a year for me to be notified of anything. For mental health, my BCBS Insurance goes through a 3rd party for insurance. There is nothing when starting that discusses the providers may not take the 3rd party insurance. Customer Service has been horrible and wants to blame Insurance. Insurance wants to blame MDLive. All the while, I am sitting here now without mental health care. The lack of empathy has been horrible through my experience. First, why wait for a balance to get that high before notifying a patient?!

"Billing Issues"

Billing Issues, Customer Service Hard to Reach
I'm giving more than one star because I found a therapist through MDLive that I absolutely love. Otherwise, their customer service has been very difficult for me to get a hold of, there have been several glitches that have happened during my calls, and they recently turned off a feature where I can message my therapist (what I usually do in order to set up scheduling.) My biggest issue with them right now is that last year there were 6 instances where my insurance paid what they were supposed to and I had a copay left to pay. I used a card I knew had funds and I authorized them to charge it for the copay amount. I made sure to check that the copay amount was right every time. This year, they told me suddenly that I had an outstanding balance of a large amount, and when I asked why, they told me to check to make sure my insurance paid their portion. My insurance company confirmed that their portion was paid for each of those dates that MDLive said I had an outstanding balance for. They tried to blame the insurance company first when that was clearly not what happened. Then I checked my statements. They had not charged most of the dates that they had told me I had a balance for, and on the days they did, they charged maybe half the amount. I had plenty of money in my account, I had authorized them to charge the card, and there was no reason that they should have only charged me half or none, just to turn around and say I owed. Now they won't allow me to schedule any more appointments with a therapist until this amount is paid, when I thought it had already been paid. They had given me no prior notice to this year. Needless to say, once I get this resolved, I'm likely to see if there is an alternate way I can see my therapist or to look for another therapist altogether.

The call was dropped or she hung up and sent my summary without finishing. She did not call back and she sent the the summary. Unacceptable.

"Overcharged for appointment "

Scheduled a call with a dr 2/7. Received a prompt call back. Said they would send a prescription to my pharmacy. Dr visit was first thing in the morning. The pharmacy did not receive my prescription. There is no way to get back in contact with the dr. Submitted an online chat. Finally my prescription was sent in the evening. Visit should have been covered 100% by my insurance with no charge to me. Confirmed with my carrier, but my card was charged $82 over a month later on 3/15. Requested a refund. They finally billed my insurance as originally requested. Insurance paid the claim 4/6. Was told the refund could take up to 30 days. Over 30 days later still no refund! Now they have received my payment as well as payment from my insurance carrier. Will not use their services again!

"Rude and Not Helpful for Covid"

Tried this today to get advice for how to reduce the symptoms I'm experiencing due to Covid. The doctor was rude and assumed I was trying to get Paxlovid even though I did not bring up Paxlovid. He said, "you're not eligible for Paxlovid so I can't prescribe that" even though he did not ask any questions about preexisting conditions, etc. From what I understand anyone with depression, former smokers, etc. are eligible, but that is neither here nor there as I was not suggesting I take Paxlovid, just asking about over the counter remedies. I told him I had a headache and he said headache can be a symptom of meningitis so I should consider going to the ER! What??! Totally useless. It stressed me out more and didn't help at all. Guess I'll stick to Advil.

"Don’t waste your time with the urgent…"

Don’t waste your time with the urgent care on MD live. I have had a sinus infection for a week and all the “prescribed” me was an over the counter nasal spray. When I ask for a steroid/antibiotic he said they can’t prescribe those for sinus infections. So I just wasted $60 dollars.
