"Outright JOKES from the DEVIL toying with us!!! MD Live is EVILCORP at its finest!"

Ha ha ha, unlike most reviews on here… now we dont even have to set a appt to know were about to be screwed. I have used this service over the last year. Ironically, the one time they seem to have some issue is right before Christmas! Furthermore the issue is saying in a big orange banner …. “oh well take your money and once we figure this all out will reimburse you AFTER your appointment (most being weeks to months out)!? So what the hell are you doing with our money!? PRETTY OBVIOUS IF U ASK ME! It shouldnt be a error u keep up for two plus weeks before xmas. Hey guys let’s just go ahead and take leave and let our system take everyone’s money over the Christmas break will just figure it out next year. Wow such crap! R U having a good Christmas MD Live. I bet u sick jerks are. Succubus to us hurting consumers. Succubus to the ones wanting help. Many professional medical companies can issue updates in a matter of a day maybe to a max of just a few… and big name companies like playstation can issue a update on just four hours. So why has this issue been up for well over two weeks and lemme guess your just gonna sit there over the holidays!? Probably because you, the evil people who fix it, are on leave. With so many bad reviews you think they’d get off their ass and they would actually fix the problem not just put something up acting like they’re fixing the problems yet really using the problem as a way to get more money from people. Every time I go on here I’m charged zero dollars because of my insurance but yet if you read the top of MD live it says specifically “we’re sorry for the inconvenience we’re sorry we’re going to charge you $175 for an appointment no worries if your insurance makes it zero will reimburse you after your appointment” that’s shady as hell that’s like what PayPal was caught doing back in the day hanging on the peoples money just long enough to get a small amount of interest off of it before giving it back this is ridiculous!

"The most unorganized facility I've ever used"

I had a scheduled call with the doctor. The doctor never called. I called the company right away to let them know my appointment was missed, I was told to reschedule another appointment which I did. Now I had to wait 3 weeks. With no notification, the provider dropped my appointment. I called MD live to find out what was happening here as medication is involved and they apologized and told me they would investigate it. Two days later I got a phone call saying I had to wait another 3 weeks for an appointment. That's 10 weeks from the start of a new medication that was supposed to be followed up within 30 days. I called a third time for an explanation as to what's happening to my services and nobody can give me an answer. They plead with you to email them for any issues and when you do they always write you back and tell you you're not allowed to email them due to confidentiality you have to call them. Even the response is here, telling people to email them at their address which is useless because they will not respond to you. I will never use this service again this is terrible what you do to patients!

"System not working, appointment changed and call dropped."

There is something wrong with your system. First off, I got several texts and emails that reminded me of my phone appointment, then shortly before the my scheduled time, the text/email said I had a "video" appointment, which was incorrect - it was set up for a phone appointment and never changed it to a video appointment. Then at the scheduled time, your phone system called me to connect with my Doctor/Therapist, I was on hold for several minutes. Then I get another call from you from the same phone number and that is a robocall that tells me I missed my appointment - while I was on hold waiting to talk to my Doctor on the other line. How did that happen? You apparently dropped my call and made me lose my appointment. Not good for someone who relies on speaking with their Therapist. I emailed customer support with no response.

"I had my son call to talk to a dr since…"

UPDATE: The response below was to call AGAIN for them to look into it... I think calling multiple times yesterday was enough for me.

I had my son call to talk to a dr since we live in different states, he was prescribed a drug that when he went to pick it up the pharmacist questioned why he was given that drug for his treatment. I had him call back to talk with another dr and was prescribed something the next pharmacist didn't even carry. So far he is two strikes down on feeling better... he should have been given an antibiotic, but instead was given a joint pain rx. I am beyond frustrated with the service... and trying to talk to anyone that speaks Engish is always a challenge so that adds to the frustration. Out 2 consult fees and still no prescription to get better.. great service...

"Ridiculous"

Waste of time and money. I used this service for my 21 year old Autisitc son, because taking him to in person Dr is challenging. I described to intake prior to making appointment, that this was a dermatological need. I suspected he has psoriasis…I was assigned an emergency room physician, who spent a total of 6 minutes reviewing photos and asking me a few questions; asked me “what are you currently using, and is it working ? IF IT WAS WORKING I WOULDN’T BE CALLING YOU. My son was prescribed cortisone cream (available OTC) with perineal applicator (used for hemorrhoids), and told to follow up with PCP next week. I thought the point of telemedicine was to avoid in person visits?!?

"i shouldve listened to the reviews."

i shouldve listened to the reviews.. watsed my time. I have a very sore throat and congestion. The dr i had Ndidiamaka Obadann, basically told me to drink warm fluids with honey and use salt water to rinse for the next 5 days. And set up a follow up appointment if it doesnt get any better. No medince was prescribed. Worst experience ever!

"family medicine office"

I run a family medicine office treating 100 patients/day. Even after MDLive told us we could treat the patient with MDLive insurance, we have not been paid in 4 months. We have had to call repeatedly to receive payment, which has been promised, but never paid. Our first payment still hasn't arrived. We cannot treat any more patients that try to use this insurance. It's a scam.

"Risky business"

The provider was actually very good but no customer support. My issue and the reason I am not following up on this platform is that despite a three week window no one at MDLive can tell me if my insurance has authorized the visits yet. So if I want to be seen regularly I need to charge $1 to book the spot BUT (and here's the hook) if my insurance doesn't authorize I will be charged $180 each visit each week. How can you run a medical service and not know how to get an authorization? SCAM. Find a provider who has billing support.

"Waste of Time and Money"

Like several others have posted, the first call I received from the actual doctor was dropped as soon as I answered. Then I received a notice that I had missed the appointment and if I wanted to reschedule press "1." I pressed "1" and nothing else happened. So I dialed the customer service number and was able to reschedule. When the second doctor called (Patrick Vickers, whom I would avoid using at all costs in the future - however, I never plan to use this "service" again). Dr. Vickers spent 4 minutes with me (3:16-3:20 PM). He asked what my symptoms were. When I explained that I was in the beginning stages of a sinus infection and wanted to prevent it from developing into a major issue (as this happens to me every year), he cut me off and said it was a common cold and he would NOT prescribe any antibiotics but he offered steroids and Flonase instead. I explained that I already use Flonase on a daily basis (which he would have already known had he bothered to look at any of the information that was submitted as part of my medical record). He explained that he had supervising doctors who would review his cases and he would be in trouble for over-prescribing antibiotics if he gave me a prescription. He made me feel like I was asking for narcotics. I am curious as to why he was so willing to prescribe steroids, which are highly over-prescribed and can trigger diabetes, but not willing to practice preventative measures. Anyway, I thanked him for basically doing nothing. I told him I wouldn't be using the steroid and would not be using MD Live ever again either. All around, it was a complete waste of time and money. And the funny thing is, when I received the appointment summary after the call, he gave a diagnosis of "common cold" AND "upper respiratory INFECTION." He also sent a prescription for a steroid pack to my pharmacy which I will not be picking up. I know that others have had wonderful experiences with MD Live but I will never use or recommend this service to anyone!

"Not reliable........"

Not reliable......... I had a call appointment but while it was connecting me, it dropped the call. Then I was told that I missed the appointment when there was no other way to reach them. Called customer service and was told that I had the number blocked when I didn't. Please fix your appointment system, I already waited a week and now I don't even know if it will reschedule me
