"Wasted time and money"
Wanted a specific doctor and they were running late, so they asked if I wanted the same doctor another time and I said yes, instead I got a call from a different doctor. This doctor was very dismissive and rushing and basically said they can't do anything go and see a doctor in person...what is the point of this service, it's just another way to profit for them by selling convenience or fear of being at the physical doctor. Shame for not actually making us feel cared for or helped, but just like we're stupid consumers who would go ahead and fall for it. They knew they had this idea in the bag. It is a good idea, but not fully helpful to the people.

"Awful experience today with MDLIVE"
My experience today with MDLIVE was horrendous. I did not receive the care I needed when I needed it most; in fact, I would give MDLIVE a failing grade.
I called MDLIVE today for a telehealth appointment because I am not getting any better using the medications prescribed last week by and MDLIVE Dr. In fact, I am getting worse. I have had pneumonia a couple of times and I suspect that because this has been incorrectly diagnosed and/or treated it could be progressing to pneumonia.
I don’t need band aids, I need something that will actually help me get better. In the past when I have felt exactly like this I have been given antibiotics, which made me feel better almost immediately.
Today when I met with Dr. G, he insisted that I didn’t need an antibiotic and wanted to prescribe steroids and a cough suppressant instead. I have been miserable for three weeks now, and I am not getting better. His diagnosis and recommended meds are not going to solve the problem. I need to be able to sleep. I need to feel better so that I can function. I DON’T need bandaids. I got frustrated with Dr. G and he began to lecture me about being “nice” and then told me I needed to go to a PCP or Urgent care. And then HE HUNG UP ON ME!!!
Subsequently, I have called Blue Cross and ask them not to pay for this appointment and to sever ties with MDLIVE. Dr. G did not fulfill his end of the bargain. He behaved exceptionally unprofessionally, in fact embarrassingly so. Instead of helping a patient, he harmed a patient.
So far, I am not impressed with MDLIVE. Dr. B (the guy I saw last week) was decent (though either his diagnosis, treatment or both were wrong, because I’m not getting better and I am getting worse), Dr. G was awful, the nurse manager who called me back this afternoon was confusing and condescending. No one (especially when they are sick) wants to be treated like that.

"It was a joke"
It was a joke! Number 1 I could barely understand the "doctor". Number 2 the "doctor" advised me to see a physician. REALLY!!!!! I thought they were doctors. Do not waste your time or money!! If I could give a lower rating I would.
FYI,If you get Dr. Nguyen, good luck. Utterly clueless.
See their reply. Sounds like they are more interested in CYA rather than helping people.

"If you get Dr. Eiad Sabia ask for a different doctor!!"
This doctor was rude, impatient, unhelpful and uncaring. Second experience with MdLive - both experiences with 2 different doctors were frustrating and COMPLETELY unhelpful. Don’t waste your time. The overall “4 star” review is fake! Look for yourself at all the “1 star” reviews!

"Avoid this service"
I used this service several times. The first was the very best and that particular Doctor was the best. After that, completely downhill. I had recently moved and had no primary care physician. My problem is fairly common. Gerd, acid reflux and burning from a hiatal hernia. I was prescribed a prescription and it was working. Needing a refill, they declined because of there 3 times rule.? EVERYONE knows it takes up to 6 months to heal ulcers from the leaking acid, so now what? Rot? After that I was cut off 5 times trying to call. Doctors who seemed to care less and rushed even though they claim they give you 15 minutes. Maybe 5. Without the esomeprazole I then go to the ER who gave me a short term dose and recommended calling MD live to continue treatment length dosage.I was on hold for a hour that time and still no one. I'm calling Humana and filing a complaint. Forget this service. Use anyother.

"Had to wait 8 days for counselor"
Had to wait 8 days for counselor. I was in very bad shape. I was harassed all week confirming my appt. Then I ran home to be here for my appt and they cancelled for no reason. Do not waste your time with this incompetent nasty service.

"Waste of Time"
Wasted benefit go to your regular provider or InstaCare. Sinus infection and getting worse after a week but because it hasn't been 10-14 days they won't prescribe medication, they don't take into consideration history and what has worked in the past. Not out to abuse the use of antibiotics but I know my body and what I need after a week of fighting and symptoms are getting worse.

"Put your money toward a real medical visit."
In my experience MDLive is little more than a quick fix that saves a full on visit to a doctor's office. The few times that I have used the service it has added little value except to assuage guilt that you should do something for a sick person. They take your money and let you know that you should see your primary care physician. Save your money.

"DO NOT USE"
DO NOT USE. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Waste of time and money. If illnesses are all going to be dismissed as COVID-19, then why are you taking payment just to tell me to go get tested instead of clearly stating on your site to go get tested first so we're not all just paying to be dismissed? I literally just paid to be told to go get a covid-19 test, nothing more.
