"Items missing from hot chocolate advent calendar."
I bought the hot chocolate advent calendar for my daughter as she has a disability and can't have a regular calendar. There was no number 15 but 2 x number 5's and sachets were missing from number 12. Quite disgusting for such an expensive item and my daughter was very upset. No response what so ever from multiple emails and nobody answering the phone! Won't bother next year, very disappointing as we buy from whittards alot.
Since putting up this review I would like to thank Imogen for all her help in rectifying my complaint. My daughter is very happy 😊

Ordered a Christmas present from here, when I received it, the packaging was damaged. Not ideal!

"Missing item ... no one responding to complaint"
I'm writing this in the hope that someone from Whittards sees it and responds because neither an email or phoning them seems to work. My order was late in arriving which I can understand but my order was missing one item although the delivery notice says there are two items in the parcel. I paid good money for half of it but the frustrating thing is that nobody responds to a genuine complaint. Take the money but no follow-up to resolve issues. Very unprofessional from a company that knows better.

"Not the products I thought they 'd be."
I first tried their products in one of their stores on Leicester and i was amazed with what i was tasting. I hadn't drunk a best hot chocolate and tea in my life! So i took many of their products but it turned out that they had nothing to do with the products i tasted in their shop. They flavors were weak and the quality disappointing. I wouldn't buy again.

First time user of Whittard online shopping. They may not be the fastest at delivery but the products were packaged beautifully. Delivery can always take a little longer at Christmas so we ought to be understanding of this.

Sad to say that their “customer service” should be condemned under the trades description act. Phone them, wait for 15 minutes whilst you are told you are in a queue ... number 6, 5, 4, 3 2 AND then you are disconnected. No response from emails, but not too busy to take the money immediately. Very disappointed. Intend to warn my Facebook friends about my experience.

Another dissatisfied Online shopper. Whittard needs to realise that it is no longer good enough to take a customer's money, then give appalling service. It seems that the 'we are incredibly busy' only applies to actually fulfilling an order and not to taking money. And sending out a tracking email that shows that the product has not even been dispatched really is a very poor attempt to pretend that they are actually doing anything. I predict that if they continue in this manner, they will become another name on the list of failed businesses!

Good products but the online experience is a disaster.
Many bugs on the website, endless time to just ship the order (more than 10 days) with absolutely no news. Incomplete tracking. Looks like ordering something from the 90s.

"No sign of order, or of any response from customer services..."
I'm afraid I have to join the growing list of disappointed customers. I placed an order for 2 items on 27th November. On 29th November I received an e-mail telling me it had been dispatched. However, to this point the courier's tracking information states it is still with Whittards, it's not even been given to the courier yet!
I used the contact us page on the Whittard website to make an enquiry about it on 8th December. Despite an automated e-mail stating I'd get a response in 2-4 working days, I've still had nothing.
As a last ditch attempt I just tried phoning them, and got an automated recording stating their operatives weren't available to answer right now, but they would get back to me (how, since they didn't allow me to identify myself??), then it promptly hung up.
I've shopped with Whittards for a great many years, and have never experienced treatment like this before. I would have a lot of understand and patience for delays due to Covid, unprecedented demand, etc, but I find it unacceptable to just ignore your customers so you don't have to face the problems. I expected better.

Very poor,extramly slow delivery service when you order online!
I placed an order on 2nd December for international delivery nearly 2 weeks.One email sent to me so far about their delays reason because of black friday.Really?You should warn your customers.The parcel is still in the uk! Make sure you place your order now if you want to get delivered by 2020.
It is a joke!
