Great tour overall and fantastic experience. Hotels were good, maybe just clarify re hotel rooms when booking if a view or outlook is desired,
Local tour guides were excellent.
Alternate travel arrangements due to issues in Peru were well managed.

"Mexico Trip coordinated by Eclipse Travel"

Eclipse Travel offers a flexible travel experience - this is a major bonus for those who wish to make changes to a basic pre-structured travel itinerary. Within reason you can add or remove destinations and activities and add or remove the lengths of stay at each destination. However, be aware that the more changes you make the longer a confirmation of a final itinerary will take. Equally, the more complex your desired itinerary is the more you need to check it is what you asked for. Eclipse Travel "coordinates" your itinerary as a agent but the actual execution of the itinerary is done by an overseas associate Company. Each itinerary offered By Eclipse has multiple variables that need to be coordinated accurately - the dates, the level of accommodation, meals included/not included, transfer times, whether activities are available at certain times/dates, means of transport. Inexperienced travellers need to be ready to ask "obvious" questions as some information is taken for granted by the Company. Overall though they did a great job.

Nothing was too much trouble. Blake was available to help via email or phone. While we were travelling, we were promptly assisted by email.
Our tour had to be changed at the very last minute, due to the closure of Machu Picchu. We were provided with possible alternatives and chose to spend extra time in Ecuador. The tour, the tour guides and the organisation in Ecuador couldn't be faulted.
We had a number of flights and some complications with Latam, but everything was sorted out and explained clearly to us. We also were able to access cheaper airfares with Eclipse.
We would definitely recommend Eclipse Travel and would very happily use them again.

I began working with Eclipse Travel probably four years ago. Three trips were canceled because of Covid, and they worked with me each time, moving me forward and keeping track of my deposits, etc. It was frustrating when two agents were let go, but I continued to get answers and information each time I asked in a mostly timely manner.

Our cruise of a lifetime was suddenly cancelled after we had already reached Buenos Aires. A devastating blow. Matt jumped in and worked tirelessly to get us on another ship on another continent in time to join the cruise. If not for Matt, all would have been lost. We were very lucky to have him in our corner. He even had champagne waiting for us in our cabin!
