I cannot thank Eclipse Travel enough for organising our 'trip of a lifetime' to Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands and Machu Picchu in Peru. The staff are 100% professional and available to answer every question you might have throughout the whole process from pre-booking until you arrive home again. The accommodation, guides, activities and information provided by Eclipse travel were absolutely first class. I would not hesitate in recommending Eclipse as an outstanding travel agency and hope to be able to engage their services on future adventures.

Amazing. Lara organized my trip to Antarctica via Argentina. Hotels, transfers etc.. the most amazing experience, she listened to me and match everything to my personality. "Great help but a little more communication needed."

I thought the company were great to deal with and were fairly prompt when replying to emails. The only 2 things I can comment on is that I wasn't well paired with the other room mate I had who ended up being a cranky older lady in her 60's who for some unknown reason randomly took her problems out on me one evening. Also it would have been nice if there were a bit more communication about the fact that we would need cash to cover drinks onboard because Aqua don't have an eftpos machine. Also I wish someone had of asked me about purchasing nitrox before the trip so I could have also paid for that via bank transfer. Other than that staff from Eclipse seem helpful.

This was a fantastic trip to the Patagonia region of Argentina and Chile. From our first experience when we met fellow travelers and our guide, things were well organized and incredibly delightful. We had a group of lovely people that were interesting and extremely fit for our long hikes. We loved the company and have fond memories to last a lifetime.

"Patagonia and Antarctica trip Feb 2020"

Eclipse Travel provided a truly excellent service to a fit Victorian couple in their late 70s, who were wanting to visit Patagonia and Antarctica as an independent couple, rather than in a tour group.

The target regions for our trip were the southern half of South America and the Antarctic Peninsula. The primary focus was Antarctica, with a requirement that access would be by sea, sailing both ways in an affordable ship with small passenger numbers, a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, expert lectures on Antarctic wildlife and scientific research, and frequent land access in Zodiacs.

Our choice from a number of options presented by Eclipse Travel was the Argentine ship 'M/V Ushuaia', and an 11-day January-February cruise to the Weddell Sea and the west Peninsula coast. This option scored 10 out of 10 on all counts. The Antarctic component of our 33-day trip was a most memorable experience.

The initial and concluding segments of our trip were largely spent in spectacular Argentine and Chilean national parks and small towns in the Patagonian Andes, at Iguazu, and in the cities of Santiago, Buenos Aires and Valparaiso - all recommended by Eclipse Travel. Each of these completely lived up to our hopes, and with no sense of being rushed at any point during our trip.

The consultations, advice and booking services were provided by Mauricio Zarzar, a knowledgeable, experienced and friendly young Peruvian consultant based in Sydney, who was always available and helpful throughout the year leading up to our trip.

The documentation provided by Eclipse, by Antarpply Expeditions (the 'Ushuaia' operator) and by the interfacing Chilean and Argentine tourist agents in each location was both comprehensive and reliable. All the pre-arranged airport transfers, tour pickups and hotel bookings were seamless and stress-free, and the English-speaking tour guides in each location were invariably friendly and informative.

Overall, the trip well and truly exceeded our expectations: Eclipse Travel's professionalism played a very large part in providing us with such a great set of experiences.
