I found Eclipse travel to be very knowable, reliable and helpful. The trip ran very smoothly, transfers and excursion ran on time and were of excellent quality. There were a couple of small hitches which got sorted out very quickly.
I would certainly recommend them and have no hesitation in using them again.

Eclipse organised me the trip of a lifetime to Antarctica. My agent Matt was there to deal with any questions I had, and it was nearly all arranged via email. I had no issues with any of the hotels, transfers or tours, all went smoothly.

Well managed local partners with experienced guides made the trip enjoyable. Choice of Alto Atacama in Chile was well thought of after crossing Uyuni for obvious reason. Cuba was another surprise with good sight seeing places, people and food.

Eclipse compiled an excellent itinerary for me covering Chile (Santiago environs and south to Patagonia) and a short-stay in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Oct/Nov 2016.

Itinerary was well-paced and executed, great guides with excellent English, punctual collections/drop-offs for tours and transport with one minor hiccup at Punta Arenas which proved inconsequential, excellent drivers and vehicles, very good internal flight scheduling (LATAM excellent) with no early wake-ups necessary. Instructions for ground transport linkages were clear and well ordered.

I selected Standard grade accommodation from their listings and except for the hotel at the Torres del Paine National Park (which was by no means a slum) all were well above average.

Eclipse provided regular and comprehensive advisories prior to departure and follow-up during time away. On-ground follow-up by the local agencies was also excellent and comforting.

Thanks to Stephen and Matt at Eclipse Sydney for their support and observations. If you are travelling generally, and to South America particularly, do not overlook Eclipse in your planning.

"It was just what we asked for"

We asked Eclipse Travel to organise a tour to Cuba and Mexico and they asked us in detail what we wanted. We are in our 60s but active, and told them we were more interested in culture than adventure, beautiful landscapes rather than beach resorts (plenty of those in Australia).
They listened and they put together an itinerary that exactly matched our requirements. They must work with the right companies in both countries because we could not fault anything about our guides or the tours.
We would use them again and would heartily recommend them to others.

"South America Tour"

Excellent work by Eclipse Tours esp to Ad and Steven.The hotels were very good standard,enjoyed all the tours.All tour guides were good in all the countries except in Buenos Aires,the hotel staff were arrogant but I think it is just Buenos Aires.We were not the only ones of the opinion for we met tourists in the street,restaurants even at the tango show who all felt the same. At Iguazu and Bariloche the people were friendly and full of information to share.So it's just in stuck up BA Latinos thinking of themselves as Europeans!!!!
