"Eclipse Travel - Chile, Argentina, Iguassu Falls and Rio."

Hotels were excellent - Buenos Aires not the best: street was being completely dug up and made it difficult to get to. Huilo Huilo is an outstanding hotel. Most guides were excellent - punctual, very knowledgeable and courteous; guide at Iguassu more interested in extra tours than being a good guide.Tours were right for our needs - not the big bus type, but had problems with Chile/Argentina border crossing and changes to arrangements at Bariloche were not passed on to us. Local providers not always aware of what had been paid for. Vouchers would help rectify this problem. Some areas are very isolated and communication with anyone is very difficult. Eclipse helpful after contact made. Did an extra "Samba" experience in Rio and while very entertaining it was not Samba - more like Carnivale experience.

Our trip to South America was much more than we expected and dealing with Eclipse Travel for almost 12 months prior to the trip was an incredibly good experience. "Brilliant Experience"

Having travelled the world independently for many years we were a little concerned about using a travel company and losing our independence. The professionalism of Matt and his team and their ability to provide an experience tailored to the customer is second to none. Their customer service is nothing short of brilliant and, obviously, we will, and have, recommended the company to family and friends. The flights and transfers were seamless and the local guides and accommodation of the highest quality. Due to a serious health issues with a family member in Australia, we had to cut short our trip. I contacted Eclipse for assistance to return home as a matter of urgency, Shay and Matt had it organised within hours and within 7 hours of my request we were flying home. We will look forward to continuing our trip at a later stage and have no hesitation in utilising the professional services that Eclipse Travel provide.

"Last Minute Bucket List Trip - Peru and Antarctica in 3 weeks!"

I was in desperate need for an inspirational holiday and I wanted to include some bucket list items, Machu Picchu and Antarctica. I was having no luck booking anything myself at such short notice and Matt from Eclipse travel booked my entire trip in 2 days and I left for my holiday 6 days later!

Matt from Eclipse Travel totally went above and beyond to plan and book absolutely everything for me - 13 x flights, 6 x hotels, 10 x airport / hotel transfers, a 13 day Antarctic expedition cruise, 5 x tours, and 3 x personal tour concierges.

Everything was so well co-ordinated that I didn't have to worry about a thing. All the affiliated tours and concierges were very professional and completely looked after me and even dealt with a few last minute changes when my flight was delayed or I when decided to stay longer in Machu Picchu.

Matt also gave me some invaluable advice about my itinerary and destinations and what to pack in my suitcase for Antarctica!

I never thought I would do a holiday that was so planned but it was an absolute dream and stress free and exactly what I needed whilst traveling alone as a single blonde female in South America. "Fantastic experience!"

My friend and I used Eclipse to book a 20 day best of South America trip. At first I was initially worried about safety issues as we were 2 females travelling on our own through South America, but all hotels were located in safe areas and all transfers were always waiting for us at the airport. We both felt very safe and well looked after. Most of the local guides were fantastic and highly informative. I would have no hesitations recommending Eclipse travel to anyone wishing to travel south America. We travelled through Sth America for 30 days, sailed the Galapogas Islands , trekked Machu Picchu, visited Puerto Maldonado, Rio, Buenos Aires and Puno. From the time we first contacted Eclipse travel on-line to the time we arrived home from our holiday the whole experience went smoothly without any issues what so ever.

Excellent service will defiantly be using them for our next holiday.

"I would use Eclipse again!"

We normally book our own trips on the internet. For South America, on a 9 week trip, we decided to use an agent. We approached several companies on the internet in Australia, UK and in South America. The South American companies just didnt respond, the UK companies were far too expensive so we worked with 3 Australian companies to arrive at the tour and accommodation we wanted. Eclipse was by far the most flexible and proactive, and in our opinion offered the best value.
All of the arrangements worked extremely well. Hotels were generally better than expected and it was always great to see our name held up by a greeter at airports and other arrival points. Yes we had some minor issues but travel in South America is not yet the same as say Europe or North America. All issues were resolved quickly to our satisfaction. When a flight was cancelled due to bad weather the local agent on the phone was able to direct us to a hotel in the small Amazon town that we had to overnight in.
We met several other people travelling with Eclipse and all had great regard for the company and their knowledge. We would not hesitate in recommending Eclipse for your South American travels...

"Makes Touring Special"

Eclipse organized a tour that catered to our own needs, and threw in some special surprises. One small blip was quickly sorted. The quality and location of our hotels was excellent, you couldn't do better yourself, their local knowledge added that bit extra that made our holiday so memorable. We are independent travellers who like to explore different cultures but to have the logistics sorted out for us-Eclipse and their local agent Mexcellence achieved this with a high degree of professionalism. We will be looking to them again for future trave look s and would highly recommend them them to anyone looking for a special holiday in Central America.
