Eclipse Travel were great. The guides and transfers that we had (and there were a lot) were high quality - knowledgable, friendly and most spoke very good English. The accommodation was really good, much better than I thought it would be for that level and the amount time we stayed in each place was just enough in most cases (more time in the bigger cities would have been good but we were also restricted and you can't do everthing). We met another couple in Galapagos who had also used Eclipse and they were just as happy as we were with them. I would certainly recommend Eclipse. Their local knowledge of the best things to do in South America was apparent as we worked our way across the continent.

Highlight is celebrating my birthday with the community of Favela Cantagalo in Rio arranged by Eclipse Travel. What an experience that is...giving and sharing and having fun with them. Eciipse Travel did not only arrange all our tours and hotels and my birthday party with Favela Cantagalo but also donated cash to the Favela. What a giving and inspiring mob...hope they branch out their travels to other continents and places of the world and not just South America. We used Eclipse Travel to visit the Iguazu Falls in February 2014 and to book a trip to Cuba. Matt our consultant was exceptional. He patiently answered all my numerous questions very promptly, and gave us the best options as he has a wide knowledge of the areas we wanted to see. All our communication was done by email and yet everything was superbly arranged. Our airport pick-ups were on time and the tours were very well organized. Their tour guides are pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. We were two women on our own yet we felt very safe. Hello, We had an amazing holiday in South America with Eclipse Travel making all the arrangements for us. They advised how long to stay places, arranged fabulous accommodation in central areas of the cities and also booked awesome digs on islands in Bolivia. They were very professional and friendly from the word GO and all was done through emails and over the phone. Their transfers were always there to pick us up from airports, hotels and tours. We chose 3 star hotels to suit our budget but most were boutique 4 stars with only one being 2 star. If you don't like big bus tours then this is the way to go!! There were just the 4 of us on some tours but generally most tours had about 8-14 which was good fun meeting other nationalities. Great coordination for the whole 4 weeks. I would highly recommend Eclipse Travel to anyone wishing to travel to South America and we also met others whilst travelling and they also had a great experience with them. Even got upgraded hotels a couple of times!!! Enjoy your adventure!!!!!!!!!!!!
