"Very loud doors "

Hotel was nice enough. Comfort room was very large and comfortable with excellent shower. However all night every night people were slamming doors as the room doors don’t soft close so I had very broken sleep. Surely this should be a fairly basic thing.

What we like: good design, regular cleaning service, coffee machine with capsules, location next to a tramway station.
What we deslike: we lost an expensive perfume during our stay, we found an disrespectful draw on the room notepad, the pillows was incomfortable, one towel was unclean after clean up, lake of communication between cleaning staff lead to repetitive passage during the day.

"Housekeeping needs to do better "

Arrival, George the Rumanian receptionist received us, he was very welcoming and warm at all times. He sorted us out in everything we might need, always with a smile on his face. George is a very professional receptionist.
No slippers in the room, Housekeeping NEVER COME IN THE MORNING AS OTHER HOTELS. We left the hotel in the morning with the sign on to clean the room and change towels, I left instructions also with the receptionist to change bedding, because my baby had messed it up from previous night. We came back late in the evening, room was dirty, housekeeping came to our room after 5pm and I had to call for this, the black receptionist lady was rude on phone, not professional or even apologetic she told us that they prioritise the check out rooms before the in house rooms, which I find insane, but whatever. This lady is not suppose to be in the hospitality industry, never greets, smile or willingly to help. She’s is very rude and mean. If you don’t want to work, why be there to make the guests feel miserable? Just go home, I’m sure someone else can do a better and professional job than her. I called to ask for a big towel, I was told to come to the reception to get it. I mean come on, this hotel is a 4 star for crying out loud. Our toilet and shower was rusty and not spotless. Beddings dirty with funny smell.
Breakfast was nice, thus the 1 star rating. NEVER COMING BACK HERE. Guys there are better hotels in the city, don’t waste your money here.

Wonderful stay as usual. All staff very pleasant and always smiling and attentive. Special mention to George, extremely professional, warm personality and great sense of humour. He personally attended to an issue I had with the door to my room and was always there at reception if you needed anything at all. He’s most definitely one of the good guys. 🫶
